So recently I had some issues that needed to be attended to and was told acupuncture may help. After calling around town to discover my insurance wouldn't be covering any of the cost I ended up looking for the best rate and of course well reviewed specialist in town. Jen walked me through the process and gave me a quote without insurance that was fairly reasonable. When I arrived Jen greeted me at the door and showed me where the water and restroom was along while walking me to the room. She was wearing a mask and took very great care of me from start to finish even taking the liberty to research some herbs they may help me recover faster. I knew she knew what she was doing so I felt completely confident while she carefully and strategically placed the needles on various points on my body. Jen was very friendly and very helpful. My first time here and I must say I was so impressed how caring person Dr Jen is. I suffered from back pain since Oct of last year and nothing has helped. I've done it all. I had an interesting experience here today. So I scheduled a 15 minute consultation for cosmetic acupuncture with Lisa-- it was a sad, and perplexing experience. I was about 5 minutes late because it took me a while to find the location- I called to ask about the location but I was about 2 minutes away. When I arrived Lisa was cordial as I walked in and she introduced herself. As we went into the 'treatment' room to talk she asked if I had any questions. The entire time I was in her presence was maybe a total of 10 minutes. She looked at her watch 2X-- I again apologized for being late and asked her if she had another appointment because she kept looking at her watch-- she said something in regards to looking at the time frame for the time she had scheduled for me. I certainly did not feel like she was trying to get my business and was appalled at being treated like that. I was defiantly interested in her service based on previous reviews. I have been seeing Lisa at Zentral Wellness for about 6 months now, and it's changed my life. I gave acupuncture a try for relieving my chronic knee pain, and nothing else has even come close to helping except the treatment I have received here. In addition to making my knee feel the best it's been since my injury, she has also managed to address several other issues (other joint pain, sinus congestion and digestion to name a few) that I didn't realize could be so effectively treated with acupuncture. On top of that, Lisa is very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Her ability to explain the science behind acupuncture is both incredible and comforting - because of her I can also understand WHY my treatment is working, which is very important to me (and something I haven't been able to say about Western medicine as it relates to my issue) Long story short, if you have issues with pain, digestion, sinuses (or really anything else), this is the place for you.
