    Transcript of call I received

I had an appointment this morning (that I waited 5 weeks for) at 9:30. I got there at 9:28. I was turned away and told I couldn't be seen because new patients were required to be there 15 minutes early for paperwork. I told the receptionist that the voicemail I received (transcript attached) didn't mention this and was essentially called a liar. Besides this being incredibly frustrating, how close are patients scheduled back to back where the 5 mins for paperwork ruins a schedule? If I had wanted to talk to the doctor for 10 extra minutes in my appointment this would that have been a problem? Just an incredibly frustrating morning, especially when I took off work for this.

I always always part my hair so that the bangs fall on the right and cover the one on my cheek that I've hated since the about fourth grade. I say this to illustrate how thrilled I am that it is finally gone! Today I went in to see Doctor Glass for a full body check, she was kind and professional and put all my worries to bed with expert identification and thorough explanation of each of my concern spots. When I told her about the one I wanted gone, she explained the pros and cons of the two basic removal methods (shaving or excising) and gave her recommendation that it be shaved in order to minimize scarring. From there, the process was quick and relatively painless. They numbed me up and took it off, and I only freaked out a tiny bit! For me, this is a triumph because I am normally a basket case when faced with a syringe, much less a scalpel! What helped was that the nurse was kind and understanding and talked to me about wedding plans the whole time to keep me distracted, which I appreciate to no end. The front desk staff was efficient and friendly, and the office/waiting rooms were clean and well-decorated. You do have to book pretty far out, I booked this appointment about a month ago. There was a $25 booking fee and quite a bit of paperwork online beforehand. I may update this review with results after I've healed (and after I get the bill) but for now, I'm thrilled!

She seemed to have exactly zero interest in hearing my experience of the condition I was seeking help with, no qualitative intake or discussion whatsoever. In my follow up appointment, I expected the doctor would see me and explain the results of the biopsy. I never saw the doctor, only a nurse who removed the stitches on my biopsy spots while simultaneously training a new hire : / The bill for the biopsy was close to $400. I feel like I was completely ripped off and received absolutely no help with the condition I originally came in for. In fact, all I got out of the entire experience were two new scars from the biopsy and a medical bill that I can't afford to pay. I was going to just cut my losses and not make a public complaint, but then I received this email from their billing office: "We have contacted you regarding your outstanding balance, but have not heard back. Please call us immediately ... to settle your account, set up a payment plan or account for why you have not paid us. If your account is not settled one way or the other by two weeks from today we may send it to a collection agency. We look forward to working out a solution with you and appreciate your prompt attention to this matter." The "we look forward to working out a solution" is so disingenuous. You could use an AI chat bot to come up with better language for this sort of thing, it would undoubtedly generate something more ... human. Unreal. But also very much on point with the rest of my experience at this place: alienating. profiteering. cold. unhelpful. Again, loud on repeat: DO NOT GO HERE. GO LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE NO MATTER THE COST. I PROMISE IT WILL BE A BETTER EXPERIENCE NO MATTER WHAT.

Whether in reference to the animal or the ugly skin blemish they're never attractive. In consideration and anticipation of my upcoming appointment I started checking out the rest of my mole friends. My husband pointed out a fairly large mole on the side of my hip that he wanted me to add to the list. I checked in for my appointment with Lisa Long and everything went pretty smooth and easy. I expressed my concerns and she checked out my moles in question as well as my back and the back of my neck. Places I would never be able to view on my own. Ironically she was NOT concerned at all about the mole on my knee BUT the mole on my hip needed to be removed and sent in for review. I was given a shot to numb me and I didn't feel a thing as Lisa Long's assistant dug/scraped/chopped off the mole. Four days later they called me with the great news that the mole was Benign. Whew! The only reminder I have is the large crater left in my hip where the shuttle had once landed.
