I called ahead to ask about walk-ins. The owner was so friendly on the phone. Before hanging up, she asked my name. I arrived about ten minutes later,as I came in, she came out of a back room and asked if I was Ann. "I'm so happy you're here!" I had a very nice pedicure. A long time customer came in after me and was vey friendly and told me she won't go anywhere else. A young woman came in for an eyebrow wax. Need to be in a family wedding. Regular pedicure was poorly done. My nails were poorly filed. There was polish on my toe skin on both feet cuticles were not managed well. Gel manicure was horrible, very uneven and so ugly. I kept telling the tech that it was uneven and not smooth and she said it was all fine. When I got out into my car, I saw how bad it really was in the sunlight. I would have gone back in, but they were so busy and hectic. I don't trust them anyway. She made my husband (who tags along with me sometimes just to get a nice massage) feel very comfortable, in what is a very feminine place. My pedicure came out almost exactly as I wanted. I wished for the stripes to be a bit bigger, but because of a lack of communication on my part that didn't happen. I think this spa is lacking in a few simple things. Excellent service and COVID safety measures in place - the shower curtains to separate the pedicure chairs and the plastic screen-stands are bolted to the spa chairs (at the bottom of the foot bath tub thing). Screens at the manicure stations, too. Sterilizer machine visible and working (I assume this was a thing pre-COVID, but it's always good to see how salons are sterilizing and disinfecting). They clearly care for the safety of their clients and employees. Linh, the friendly owner, gave me an awesome pedicure and cleaned up my toesies and feet real nice...and oh my gosh the foot and leg massage was AMAZING. She used a scrub and her pressure was so strong and PERFECT. I thought it was over after she rinsed my legs but then she gave me another massage with oil! It was blissful. There are so many nail salons that are working hard to stay afloat, especially during this time. Albuquerque's best nail salon! I called 30 minutes before closing for a pedi, expecting to be told no, but they fit me in, and even stayed late to make sure my toes were done nicely for my trip. They didn't rush at all. Had a chance to talk with the owner for a while and she's absolutely the sweetest woman. I went back for a full set and the nail technician did an amazing job. She had me check multiple time to make sure they were exactly how I wanted, which was absolutely appreciated by me, since I've had some unfortunate experiences at other places. I am an out of town visitor and brought my godmother here for a belated birthday mani-pedi. I called to schedule an appointment less than a week ahead and was able to easily find an appointment time. It is true that the salon is missing the esthetic quality of an upper scale place, but the massage chairs were really great and I care less about what the salon looks like compared to the quality of the service. Both of us had a standard pedicure and a manicure with clear polish ($54/pp not including tip). The services moved very quickly, although my godmother's service evolved more quickly than mine. I noticed that I received a base coat on the pedicure and she did not. She was also disappointed that she received less of a leg scrub and massage whereas I felt mine was just right. Both of us were happy with the appearance of our final product although I might have asked for a third coat of paint on my toes as the color I chose was just slightly streaky. I think the general quality here is efficient and good, but it's probably not going to be a slower paced pamper if that's what you're looking for. I hadn't really thought about this as I don't regularly get my nails done and didn't plan very far ahead. Inconsistent service. Our first visit with Lin was great so we went back and the service was so bad the second visit. I'm thinking of not going back. She was so nice to two little girls then so rude to my little one. Lin actually asked my daughter if she was a girl or a boy! My daughter is clearly a girl and I felt she was just being rude! My daughter wanted flowers on her nails but apparently she wasn't good enough to get them but the two girls before us were allowed to get them. I usually get a French manicure and it's the worst one I've gotten so far the white tips are so large and I can see the crooked brush strokes. I wasn't going to tip because it was so terrible but Lin made me feel like it was a requirement! Now all I got is a bad French Manicure and a daughter who is questioning her identity. read more

My friend and I were our doing errands and I broke a nail...we stopped by and Vicki did a great job repairing my nail and making it look like all my others that were already done. My friend decided to get a manicure with Linh, the owner, and her nails, a dark color, lasting well over a week and still looking great with no chips. Great color job. These girls are so nice!!
