I was Interested in buying this particular bonnet because of the design and style however , this particular bonnet was not wrapped up in plastic and you could tell that someone had tried on the bonnet . I asked the owner if she could give me five percent off and explained my reasons and concerns why because the bonnet was already worn and used .The owner refused to . Then I asked her if I could get at least two percent off and she told me no .Due to covid 19 going on , we must be aware , cautious , and follow the safety / producers in order for us to be in a safe environment. I also noticed that the owner did not have any particular social distance signs ,did not follow the procedures of the social distance 6 feet, and did not follow the procedures for covid 19 . Bad Situation Turned Good…read more This past Friday, November 17th, I purchased two Andis products from this store (1 Andis Profoil Shaver /1 Andis T-Outliner). To my dismay after returning home, while attempting to turn on the T-Outliner, I found it to be inoperable. Unable to return the product that day due to a weekend trip out of town, I returned to the store today to exchange this product and to ask about the possibility of exchanging the "Andis" Shaver for a "Wahl" Shaver. Upon my return to the store, I had a negative experience with "Jay", the store manager. He questioned me (did you drop it?) and alluded to me being untruthful after seeing a hair follicle on the side of the T-Outliner (which may have been picked up from my bathroom while using another product). After some back and forth, between myself, my brother and Jay, Jay tested the product and confirmed that it did indeed not work. He tested another T-Outliner and allowed me to exchange the defective product for the working one. Consequently, after Jay opened the box for the Shaver, he identified hair shavings inside the blade opening, keeping in mind I had not opened the box. I was shocked by this. Jay informed me that he could not exchange the shaver and that the new Outliner was non-returnable. After this interaction, I was angered and very offended. I quickly decided to call back to the store to gain the owner's contact information to further discuss the matter. After making several attempts to call, I finally got in touch with someone. To my dismay, it was Jay, the associate I had interacted with prior. Jay informed me that he was the owner. I explained to him how I had felt about his rudeness and after several minutes of talking, Jay apologized and informed me that he would accommodate my need to exchange the shaver. Long story short, Jay handled our altercation in a professional manner. He admitted that he had maybe based our interaction from past experiences from customers that tried to get over on them. I definitely understand this viewpoint, as I have worked customer service for several years. Overall, Jay made my day by taking time to hear me out and assisting me. I will definitely return to this store just because of how this young man handled this situation. He owned up to his mistake and helped me out in the end.I have much respect for him and his willingness to turn a bad situation into a very positive one. Thanks Jay! (The office staff had also entered my contact information incorrectly which made it difficult for my doctor to contact me with my diagnosis.) Additionally, it is not easy to get through on the phone to ask questions. I also called to ask a question and the office staff interrupted me and passed me along to a nurse. (which my general question did not need the assistance from a nurse. However, the nurse was much more pleasant to speak to than the front office staff.) I really liked dermatologist Melissa Thierry, at the appointment she informed me she would be moving out of state. At this point, I had my mind made up I was not coming back. However, I ended up being diagnosed with melanoma, so I decided to stay until this diagnosis was resolved. After Melissa's extra effort to contact me, her sensitivity to my diagnosis and her availability she offered me to make sure I was comfortable and understood the next steps for treatment I stayed. Melissa also made sure I would be transferred a doctor that will provide me with her standard of care. The nurses in the practice are friendly and helpful as well. Melissa is also diligent in treating me every three months for mole checks to prevent any further melanoma. I am grateful because not all dermatologist are this thorough according to my oncology surgeon. I am also very pleased with oncology surgeon she referred me too. (Dr. Feliberti & his entire office and team are AMAZING) For now, I will continue my treatment and care with Tidewater Skin because of their due diligence as a practice and their nursing and dermatology team.

Neither one of us had any candle making experience so I was excited to see how the process worked. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by early 90s Hip-Hop being played by a DJ which we thoroughly enjoyed. Once we made our inside, we were greeted by the owner of Ambyance Fragrances, Robert, who taught us everything we needed to know about our sense of smell and how amazing his soy candles were. We were given about 30 fragrance samples to smell before deciding on about 2-3 to add to our candle. Once we added our customized fragrance to the candle wax, we then added some dried flowers for decoration and selected the color we wanted for our candle. Since it took about 45 mins for our candles to set, we were able to enjoy the bar and grab a bite to eat from their limited menu while we waited. We also walked around and viewed the books on display as well. Overall, our candles turned out absolutely amazing and smelled wonderful! Robert has been in the candle making business for years and his candles are top tier. He is so inspiring and you can tell he puts his all into his art of candle and oil making.
