The last time I was there I bought fur rolls of unbleached, recycled toilet paper for $4.99, got a $4 off coupon, then immediately bought another one for .99 cents. Good deal. I made a return and it went smoothly without a receipt. A screwdriver was the wrong size and I think they had a record of it because I typed in my phone number when I bought it. Since I declined a printed and emailed receipt I wasn't sure how they'd handle it. It was no problem though and no questions were asked except for my phone number. I like their organic pistachios, but after I bought a bag on sale they ran out and haven't gotten them back in. The restroom is clean and most of the employees are friendly, helpful and respectful.

It pays to be a loyalty member as with all grocery stores and prices are reasonable given it is the beach. Decent selection of beer and wine. They are busy most of the times I've visited and given the location can tend to run out of some items (i.e. deli, seltzer, ice cream). The pharmacist on duty was extremely helpful and played an integral role on figuring out what I could take safely. There was no dreadfully long line to get pharmacy consult. I am so immensely grateful because I was able to just enjoy the rest of the short leave without any worries. I even managed to sleep through the night and woke up feeling ok. So cue insurance issue when this one tried to fill it. I called the next day and explained to the pharmacist who promptly pulled it from the other one - cancelled it - and filled it so I could get both at one spot and not drive all over. She had it ready quickly and was super nice about it. I stopped in that evening after work and, while traffic and construction was bad, once that was all navigated and I got to the drive through, it moved super quickly and the agent at the window was friendly and efficient. He updated my new address for me bc, even though I did it online, the script was wrong. Great first impression. I haven't been inside and I know pharmacies aren't perfect. But I'm usually fairly impressed with Walgreens over their competitors.

The pharmacy closes for lunch for 30 mins to an hour each day. So make sure you call ahead for the correct times. The store has a decent selection of items. Some prices are reasonable but there are also some higher priced items that made me raise my eyebrow. There's even a small as seen on tv section. They also have a few frozen foods, snacks, drinks, and etc. This location tends to have alot of people asking for money. So be aware!! They will walk up on you with no problem. I had plenty of pennies but nope, they round up no matter what. I don't think that is very fair business. Others I have gone to knock the price down to the lowest non penny denominator. They do have a very nice "fountain" with delicious limeade and some cool items for those who want to shop there. UPDATE!!! Randi from Irwin's actually called me moments after I posted the review. She explained they did in fact round up when they should have rounded down. Therefore I have changed my stars and am very impressed that they called asap and offered to reimburse the change. I ordered the philly cheesesteak with a side of ranch. I walked in and the whole place is a vibe. Even the customers in line with me were smiling and friendly. The staff was great and welcoming. The prices are soooo much better than any of the other local places I've tried. My cheesesteak was awesome- tasty and a good size. If I had a longer lunch break I'd dine-in because the place is this adorable diner-style place and clearly has a solid history in the community. The only downside to this is that now I have to admit to my boss that he was right about something (just kidding). Anyways, check it out!
