I wanted to update my review because I've had two good experiences at this location since my last review. Although the prices tend to be high CVS is in the business of printing coupons if you give them your phone number and a name. The last time I was there I bought fur rolls of unbleached, recycled toilet paper for $4.99, got a $4 off coupon, then immediately bought another one for .99 cents. Good deal. I made a return and it went smoothly without a receipt. A screwdriver was the wrong size and I think they had a record of it because I typed in my phone number when I bought it. Since I declined a printed and emailed receipt I wasn't sure how they'd handle it. It was no problem though and no questions were asked except for my phone number. I like their organic pistachios, but after I bought a bag on sale they ran out and haven't gotten them back in. Parking is almost nonexistent, when I did arrive had two scripts transferred from Richmond and they could only find one. The price on the one I did get was 500 percent higher in price than Richmond's. The head clerk was rude and really didn't care.... I pay 5:65 in Richmond's and 28:00 at this location... Recently switched from RiteAid and couldn't be happier with the pharmacy. Communication through the app is outstanding and some critical prescriptions have been filled within an hour of being called in by our doctors. Parking can be a challenge but if you have a second person one can run in and they will be back by the time you make a loop around the block. Very friendly. read more

This oceanfront CVS is fairly large and very well-stocked so if you are in need of something you forgot to pack or need that last-minute item, this is probably the place to get it. Prices are fair and they have everything you could want from medical supplies, food, snacks, home goods, and even some beach-y items since it's in the tourist Mecca. Staff were friendly and the inside was clean. I also easily found the restroom and was able to use it while my stepdaughter browsed the store looking for a Plushteen or something she wanted. Oof- when I lived within walking distance of this location they saw me in some INTERESTING states. From halfway ready for a date needing some eyelash glue to just rolled out of bed and realized I didn't have creamer. It's a much bigger store than you would expect from the outside and they've always had just what I needed to save the day. There are two ways to enter- you can go through the garage or through the front on the corner of 31st. They have self checkout available if you're not feeling like extra human interaction. I usually run into at least one employee who is out and about in the store who can point me in the right direction so I can get in and out quickly! read more

We arrived to the store 6 minutes before close to pick up one much needed item. The door was already locked and the staff waived us off.

Very convenient location on the Northside of Virginia Beach. Easy walk from our hotel. Prices seem marked up compared to home, $13 for a small bottle of sun block! Got the Tylenol and Benedryl I needed. There were no cashiers, only self check out. read more

So a couples months ago we went to the beach. We needed vitamins , towels, tanning lotion etc so we stopped here. The purchase went good so once we got to the car we opened the vitamins so we could take them there was a huge hole in the middle of the seal. So we went back in and guess what all of the vitamins had a Hole in the middle of the seal. Crazy right ? Who would do that ? Anyways it all worked out in the ending. read more

They were really disrespectful. They sold me an empty tube of medicine and laughed at me.

I was on vacation and then my coach sent me a list of vaccines that I needed before Monday. I told the pharmacist that I was a little scared of needles and they did not seem to care. Horrible customer service. Every time I go in there it's absolutely ridiculous they act like you are troubling them to help you. On top of making up their own hours closing whatever and just being the worst CVS known to man. The pharmacy department specifically the rest of the employees seem pretty cool but this was the joke I walked into this morning everything says they open at 9 AM on Saturday except for those ghetto handmade sign that they created. read more

Absolutely great experience at the pharmacy. I'm from out of town but, today, got a text that my prescription was ready at home. I called this CVS to have my prescription transferred so I could pick it up without waiting until I go home next week, and the pharmacist who answered the phone was SO friendly and helpful--unlike most people who take calls at pharmacies, stores, etc. Then, she had my prescription ready in less than 30 minutes. Amazing! The pick-up process was easy and quick, even having asked a question about changing my insurance info. 10/10 -- I wish my home CVS was like this one. read more

Feeling compelled to add a review for this CVS Pharmacy. I'm not a big fan of CVS in general, due to the higher convenience prices; however on my most recent trip to VA Beach I found myself here about a handful of times. The store is meticulously clean & organized, making product selection a breeze. Self checkout was super easy & cashier available when I had a return. The pharmacist (whom I believe was Daniel, per my receipt) was helpful & super efficient in getting a script transferred, informative about the Rx & just very personable. He gave this large corporate establishment the small neighborhood pharmacy feel. Great service all around! read more

If i could give this place no stars, i would. Came here to receive my MoneyGram order because my dad is deployed overseas. The lady did not process my information because there was an extra letter added to my name due to phonetically differences from a different language. License number, middle name, last name, address, phone number, senders name and phone number - everything was matching. ONE LETTER DIFFERENCE. I have NEVER since he's been overseas had this problem and my information has always been the same. They told me to call money gram and ask them to remove the extra letter. So i did, and they said they aren't able to help me because the CVS cashier has already opened the transaction and they needed them to call and verify that they hadn't given me the money. Not only did they seem annoyed that i asked them to do it, they had a quick word exchange after which the cashier hung up and told me to contact my dad (the sender). UM HELLO ITS 4 AM where he is ! As i stated before! No apologies, no help, just rude and unprofessional. I work in customer service and perhaps i have higher standards, but this was downright unacceptable. I called moneygram customer service and they aren't sure why the cvs clerk did not give me my money. They looked up my transaction history and EVERY SINGLE ONE HAD THE EXTRA LETTER IN MY NAME BECAUSE OF THE LANGUAGE TRANSLATION! And EVERY SINGLE TIME CVS WAS ABLE TO PROCESS IT! So on the day i have to pay rent they just decide to deny me and now i have to pay an extra $50 fee tomorrow. Thanks a lot. read more
