So I get enough energy to hobble inside to the store only to find they're "having technical difficulties" and won't be open anytime soon. I tap on the door, hoping to get some insight from the wandering employee inside. She slowly walks towards the door and I explain that I'm only here for an online pickup. She stares blankly and offers nothing. I'm just short of crying from frustration when I find a chair to sit in right outside the store so I can rest my Cam boot, which is already aching from the short walk. The same employee opens the door and tells me they'll be open in 20-30 minutes. They finally open and of course the online order part of the store has no one in it- shocker! So another "perky" employee says "oh, yeah, go to the front register." Great. I get there and it's the same employee that didn't help me initially. I give her my name and all I get is attitude, eye rolling, the whole nine. She barrages me with a series of ridiculous questions, all of which I answer. I'm losing my patience as I look around the store. Same employee then asks me for my ID. Um, ya think you could have done that to begin with? I finally get my order and take another look around the store- because it's the LAST time I'm ever there. 3 stars for the products and variety, ZERO stars for customer service = 1.5 stars.

This 1 star is for the catty unprofessional conversation I happened to overhear bc if I wanted to watch mean girls I'd be sitting in front of my TV. So there I was browsing between aisles when another customer and a manager were talking. Then this manager goes off on a rant talking about another employee who I imagine (hope) was not there. I decided not to ask for help and it was awkward to be around and listen to. To the employee who was talked about: I hope you steer clear and hopefully find a better and healthier work atmosphere. To the manager who was doing the smack talking: do better. go to Applebees with friends if you wanna talk bad about an employee, don't do it to customers and while you're working cause you never know who is going to hear you.
