I had a friend in town and we decided to get pedicures together. After a quick browse on Yelp, I came across Thyme in Grandview. They are fairly new, only opened about a year and half ago, and you can find them in the new development right off of 670 on Dublin Rd. I gave them a call and they were able to fit us both in a few hours later... mind you this was a Friday morning. When we got there we were totally taken back by how big and gorgeous the salon is. Everything is pristine! From the chandeliers and the blue lighting on the ceiling to the massage chairs and nail display, they couldn't have done a better job. We both got just your basic pedicure, but with gel. It came out to about $70 for each of us, not too bad. I love how big their color selection is, way more than what was available at my previous spot. The staff was also very accommodating and did a lovely job. I have no doubt I'll be back!

If you want to feel miserable and burdensome during your manicure this is the place. Sadly I think…read morethe manicures are quite good... but the customer service and experience is the worst I've ever had. I even brought my 7 year old daughter with me a couple times and she was also treated poorly. The attitude my manicurist had this morning was one of irritation and like I shouldn't be breathing the same air as her. I was told immediately that I couldn't change my service from gel extensions to a regular manicure because of cost. Why not offer me a great manicure with up charges to balance out the cost. It wasn't about the cost to me it was about getting the nail treatment I wanted. Then I was told not to touch anything and that my hands were hers and not to use my phone or drink my coffee. I'm 46 and did neither. She chided me like a child preemptively. Awkward. Then told me she doesn't cut down gel x when I wanted them shorter, only to later go ahead and do just that. But not until she showed me her irritation in my wanting them shorter. She was irritated with me again when I didn't want another coat of polish. She never made eye contact with me and refused to engage in any small talk during the appointment. It was literally miserable. The staff dresses like they just got out of bed. One girl had a bloody zombie face on her shirt. Unprofessional in appearance, attitude, and customer service. I would not recommend this salon.
