The fanciest dinner to date. Tables were just very long rows so you do get the chance of sitting with strangers, which we did! Sat with a night club owner and had great conversation. The burrata was my favorite. We got waygu as well. 5/5 for sure. We definitely enjoyed ourselves.

Do your home work. Look at the menu prior to arriving to have proper expectations. I'd say I had a great experience overall all thanks to the reconnaissance. I highly suggest to arrive a tad bit early and have a drink at the bar trying one of the in house aged/stored adult beverages before being seated and just have a look around. Once you are seated, the server will try really-really hard to upsell. Ignore all that noise and order what you decide. Don't let the server order for you. Have it like you want it! Beautiful concept but the I had to knock off one star for the shoulder to shoulder experience. Overall 4.0+ Cheers!

Beautiful table setting

Went to Beast for a work dinner and we got the tasting menu which isn't cheap but so worth it. Firstly, the table setting is beautiful! They're long tables with lots of candles; candles on the tables, candles on stands above the table- felt like a big Christmas lunch. It wasn't too crowded on a Wednesday night. Once we were seated our drinks and food orders (and adjustments to tasting menu as I don't eat beef) were noted. I started with their coriander margarita and it was delicious! Took me back to LA! The only downside of the meal was that our first course took about 45mins to come out- we were starving! But then came out the beautiful scallop- oh so good and the sauce it comes in, delicious! The king crab was soooo good- so fresh, so flavorful. Also the prawn- it was massive and juicy. Others on my table really enjoyed the steak and wagyu tataki too. Highly recommend for a celebratory night out

Amazing selection of food ! Amazing steaks, Crab legs and delicious truffle sauce to take flavor to a whole new level ! The starters were very good, we had the burrata, fried prawns, the scallops were too tiny for my taste. The crab legs were heavenly, juicy and delicious. Their truffle sauce was equally amazing w the beef and with the crab If you're into juicy fatty tender meat then go for the Japanese Wagyu ribeye, if you don't want fat, my friend swear by the chateau briogn (can't spell it) it was too tough for me. The Australian Wagyu was rich with flavor, but not as heavy and rich as the Japanese Wagyu, but it's filling. For 6 people, 6 starters, several sauces, 6 crab legs, 2 claws, and 4 steaks, and some waters no alcohol. The bill with service cake up to £1,061. So £177 per person. It's pricey but the food was great and the ambiance and service was terrific ! Definitely worth it!

One of my friends recommended this place. I went to Beast at about 6pm for a casual dinner. What special about Beast is their live king crabs (they are humongous. However I didn't taste it because I'm allergic to crabs). The environment is comfy and relaxing. It fits for most of the occasions--whether for dates or business affairs etc. Waitresses and waiters are very cordial and friendly in this restaurant. ... I ordered a USDA Chateaubriand 500g steak cooked medium well. The steak was succulent and delicious. Highly recommend it.

If there ever was a true meaning to the words 'food-porn' this is it, especially if you like meat. Steaks. I've eaten steaks in so many different restaurants, many 'award winning' places, many 'best stakes in London', and still I've yet to find a piece of beef that melts in my mouth as smoothly as the Argentinian monsters from Beast do. It's probably something like, 7cm thick, rare cooked (but not a drop of blood to be seen), it hangs in huge refrigerators to dry with chunk of salts and its temperature is accurately measured and checked throughout the grilling. But I digress, for Beast is so much more than the best steak you've ever had. According to the size of your party, your starter will be a quarter or half of a parmesan wheel. It's the good stuff, the real deal. I should know, I am Italian. You're given a small scalpel to dig your way through the cheese, which comes served with pickled artichokes and onions, extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar. They like to take their time between courses, so you'll have to be patient. It's really really hard not to eat to fullness the whole cheese thing, but do resist the temptation. Once the steak arrives it's peace at last. One thing to add to what I've already said is that it's served with an array of absolutely delicious sides: no fries, this isn't your cheap burger place you dirty sods. It's vegetable delicacies, amongst which I feel compelled to commend the delicious balsamic smoked tomato salads, which I must remember to ask the chef about next time because I MUST know how to make them at home. If you're an average human being with an average sized stomach, you'll feel pretty full after the steak. However the third course is yet to come: a massive crab, already cracked open but rearranged together to look pretty. You're given tools to dig into it - which you'll likely forsake in favour of your hands. This too comes with many sides and two (if I'm not mistaken) choices of sauce. I regret to say that both times I went, at this stage I was so full of delicious heavenly steak that I could not *really* appreciate how good the crab was, because it was SO good. But by then I was just shoving it in my mouth hoping it would fit. After the third course is also done and dusted, you get to pick between 3 different desserts: I always go for the deconstructed cheescake. There's something so silly about the idea of a deconstructed cheescake that I love, and also it's delicious. All the above is at a set price of £75 per head. Excluding drinks. Yes, it's a lot, but DAYUM it's worth it. Need to go back for a third visit as soon as possible, I need steak in my veins.

Very stylish eatery.

Menu, food, service, literally everything is above expectation. The seafood, the meat, above all the king crab.

Great steak and king crab. There are not a lot of choices on the menu but each and every one are superb. Be ready to spend some $$ though.

Seeing people walk away with a sandwich tray piled sith freshly shaven Parmesan, drew us in, and so glad it did. Such a uniquely delicious and hearty sandwich. The line is long, but it goes pretty quick. Highly recommend getting it. We shared one, but could have easily eaten one on our own. It's ok, bc it leaves room for us to try something else. Northfield Farm Got the special Rueben and shared it. It has salt beef, emmental cheese, sour kraut, pickles and their secret sauce. It was cool to see him make it in front of you quickly. It's only one person at a time, so the line might take a while to make its way through.

Tourist trap, but delicious strawberries…read more You probably don't need my review to tell you this is a place to visit when in London. Going in for the first time, don't expect to have a place to stand or sit. We struggled a bit to enjoy our food -- hovering over a flower planter box while the wind blew away all of the cheese from our sandwiches, haha! We had to visit this place two times because there were too many items we wanted to try. The first experience felt like a disaster. Everyone was packed in like sardines while the loud speaker was warning us of pickpocketing on a weekday. The second experience, we arrived at 10:30AM and had a more enjoyable experience, hence the 3/5 rating. Items we tried: 1. The Ginger Pig - Sausage roll was too greasy in my opinion. 3/5 2. The Black Pig - "The Best One" was delicious and very filling. It's ideal to split since there are two sandwiches in one tray. The parmesan was flying everywhere because it was a windy day. 4/5 3. Bread Ahead - We tried a few donuts, but the stand out was the Crème Brûlée. I may have eaten too much, I couldn't enjoy this one 3/5 4. Kappacasein Dairy - "Toastie" was absolutely as toasty as it sounds. The bread was crispy and crunchy, the cheese was unreal. 5/5 5. Bomba Paella - Lobster Paella was expensive and the portion was small. The paella was average. 3/5 6. Turnips - viral chocolate covered strawberries. They're expensive, but worth it. This was the only thing we went back twice for. It's that good! Super refreshing. The strawberries were exactly what we needed after eating a ton of heavy food. 5/5 Everything at Borough Market was quite expensive, but that's expected at a tourist spot.

My wife and I chose this place for our last dinner in London before heading back home to DFW. I had…read moreread about this restaurant in some top 10 lists for foodies visiting London and was dying to check it out. First, it's not in the busy part of London where you would expect a restaurant of this caliber to be but rather it is in a very blue-collar neighborhood on the south side of London. It is a VERY cozy place with only seven tables but that is how they keep the quality and experience so great. The decor is as if you are on an old fishing ship. Reservations are highly recommended but we got there right when they opened (7pm) and thankfully they let us have a table. After being seated the hostess showed us the days specials and they ranged from fantastic scallops to lobster with every choice as good as the last. My wife and I chose the Chef's Choice 8 course dinner. The dinner comprised of a delicious sardine sandwich followed by a fillet of night perch which was then followed by lobster that melted in your mouth. Then we had a pallet cleanser of a light peach sorbet with a shot of vodka poured over it. The meal resumed with a grilled piece of pork belly (I got the "meat" choice) while my wife had a grilled hallibut (she got the "fish" choice). The next course was a warmed cheese (I believe it was gruyere) in pastry accompanied by a small mixed green salad with aged balsamic. The dessert courses were a delicious crepe with creme bruille filling and the end course was a pear puree along with a chocolate pudding with a hint of mint. We loved this place even though the name sort of threw us off at first. When you hear "The Lobster Pot" I imagine a bunch of seniors getting off a day-tour bus to a casino at a truck stop or something but this experience was far from what I first imagined. I would highly recommend spending some of your tourist dollars here at this restaurant.

A delightfully decorative place complete with seagulls singing sea shanty classics on loop. Terrified but glorious goldfish adorning the cabin window walls, really every maritime detail had been thought of, even staff in cabin costumes, it was as cheesy as the lobster Thermidor. So fun. I loved being bibbed up too, I like knowing things are gonna get messy. The Meli, a melee of seafood; half lobster, sea bass, spicy grilled perch, razor clam (touch over done), squid kebab (could've been flavoured more) but all in a sea of buttery champagne and avruga sauce. No tide could hold me back from wanting to lick my plate or use this as a moisturiser, oh my golly so delicious. It came served with enough perfectly cooked veg that my mother would approve of too. Soft butter, less surprise from the proprietor at our arrival and this place would have had a perfect score. Overall our waitress was lovely and the food was really darn good.
