Two stars are for the food, because despite the staff the breakfast here is delcicious. Unfortunately, aside from the food there is nothing professional or quality about this establishment. Bea's has been our annual breakfast spot during our once a year vacation and we usually have a large group of people. Although impossible to accommodate us all at one table, we enjoyed the food and up until most recently the service. After our meals and paying, we tipped on the bill the standard 20% at our table. Our neighboring friends bill was around 50 dollars. They paid 60 and also left two dollars one in quarters on the table. Upon standing outside waiting for everyone in the group to emerge the waitress came outside threw the dollar bill and change into bushes and said keep your shitty two dollars. Both shocked and appalled we went back inside to clarify that both tables had left her a standard cash tip in addition to the change on the table. The waitress was apologetic and used the excuse "young kids do this to her all the time and she was tired of It ". Unfortunately none of us all over the age of 25 are young kids and we had all tipped. This reaction made all of us extremely offended and have since decided not to return. The waitress was not rep-remanded nor were her incomprehensible actions even acknowledged by management. I can not support a business who allows its employees to act unprofessionally and also ungratefully. read more

I tried the lobster roll with fries for lunch. For the amount of lobster meat at 12.99 - it was a steal. Our server was a hysterical man that made our experience very enjoyable. Next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely return. read more

Thoroughly ordinary place in a strip mall in Conway. Okay french toast, sausages taste like Jimmy Dean from the freezer section, except with higher prices. Decent coffee. I would have given three stars but all they had was Aunt Jemima-style syrup! We're in the mountains of New Hampshire, and no maple syrup, even for an additional charge? Overall it's not a bad place, but it has nothing you can't get at a diner down the road from your house. Instead try Peach's up in North Conway or (better yet) Polly's Pancake Parlor in Sugar Hill. The sausages there come from neighboring farmers instead of Sysco, and maple syrup, butter and sugar flow like a river. read more

When we visit the Mount Washington Valley, we start our day, everyday, at Bea's. A great staff(the owner seriously should do stand up) the food is incredible, plenty of parking. It remind's me of another great restaurant that was in the same area, many years ago, named "Ellie's". Great Food, Good Coffee, Great Staff and reasonable prices. Popular breakfast place in downtown Conway. It was pretty crowded when we went but service was quick and friendly. I had an apple and cheese omelet, but it tasted like it was mostly egg and not as much filling as I would have liked. The home fries were tasty, but nothing to write home about. What a great little place. They seated our huge group immediately and somehow got the food on the table 20 min after we got in there. Great breakfast food! Eggs Benedict, French toast, pancakes with Nutella and home fries were all a hit. I had a burger and it was cooked well, with fresh toppings and crispy fries. When we went the place was pretty dead so we were able to grab a table right away and our waitress came right over and served us cofee the second we sat down. She was very friendly. We ordered our food and minutes later we got our meal. It looked great but unfortunately both of our meals were very cold and I couldn't enjoy what could have been a great breakfast. Delicious food, friendly service, clean. They take cash or checks with phone numbers, no credit cards, but there's an ATM inside the restaurant and a TD Bank right across the street. Plates are very reasonably priced. For my omelette with hash browns, toast and coffee I paid $10.77 before tip. My server Kathy was very friendly and efficient. The food was prepared quickly, and was very tasty. On all their walls are fun decorative tin plates with funny things or pictures. I took pictures of a few to send to some friends who like that kind of silly humor. The restaurant was very clean, and has an area in the front for seating, or a counter and more tables toward the back. And they offer a complimentary newspaper, the Conway Daily Times I think it was the name. (Actually a very good paper with local and world news!) I would definitely recommend this place for families or couples or singles. Overall a very good experience. An employee at the local gas station recommended this place for breakfast. We had twelve people come in to breakfast. Despite such a huge crowd with the place already being busy they had taken our orders and brought our food out within 20 minutes it was incredible. Had a wonderful experience here , our waitress put 2 tables together cause we were a party of 5. The food portions were big even took our food home for later. I asked the waitress if they had gingerale since for a few days i was sick she told me they only have sierra mist but then she turns around and gives me her own gingerale she brought from home she sure did save my day!!! OMG this place is the best. I forgot the name of it but its something like boat and it is SO GOOD. You can eat there for under 20 dollars for sure with two people ( depending which menu you order from) I am not a breakfast food kind of girl but I LOVE it here The service is always friends and the portion size is good and the price is actually cheap but you do not feel like you go cheaped out of anything with your meal. The owners/managers are almost always there. One actually waits on you. Very friendly and great. I'm a local here in Conway and also a high school student. I work in the restaurant business along with the other 8 teens that were part of our party. We made sure to sit in the back so we wouldn't disturbed anyone else. Our waitress was rude and came up to our table, not introducing herself and asking what we wanted to eat/drink with a uninterested tone. She gave us our food and then left when some of us wanted more to drink. We asked for our bill and waited 15 minutes for it. Then we got our separate bills back with the total crossed out and rewritten with the 20% tip already in it. First of all since July 21st of last year even for parties over 6 adding the tip in is illegal. And second or waitress in no way deserved her 20% tip. We tried to call the manager several times and when they finally answered we were replied with "teen girls are known for not tipping the right amount." We have heard that's this has happened to other teenagers that eat there regularly too. Well now we eat at Banners restaurant right down the road. We are not disrespected there. read more

Amazing end to a great vacation in NH! We went to Bea's on our way home. The portions were large, there were lots of great and tasty options. Hash browns were so crispy and the toast was thick and fresh. The staff was beyond nice, and our waiter was particularly charming. Plus coffee and maple syrup aren't extra! The menu offered sandwiches or wraps with whole wheat or white. I'm not a fan of bread (especially white bread) so asked for a chicken salad with whole wheat wrap. The waitress, who seemed bad tempered from the get go, said no whole wheat wraps, only white wrap. What she set down was dry and gristly chicken salad on Wonder Bread, waitress set it down saying there were no wraps, and never asking if I would at least like wheat bread. I was left wondering if I did something to upset her, although I can't imagine what. read more
