Which she had to put us on hold as she forgot her ordering pad. No biggie. We both ordered an avalanche meal and ordered side home fries. SHE told Both of us multiple times that it was included in meal even thought it wasn't written on menu. Ok cool bargin. My wife ordered coffee. She leaves goes back to playing with dog. Then comes out with food. No coffee. No home fries. We wait for her to come back ask for them both she goes snd gets them. If it's part of meal why wouldn't be on plate but I didn't want to argue with her about her menu. The table next to us had coffee with fresh cream our late coffee we were only offered the mini plastic cups repackaged ones. Ok still trucking. Home fries come out super bright orange looking super seasoned and literally only tasted like gardening soil. Dirty potatoes cut and mashed up with paprika and put in a cup. Literal DIRT taste. Ok now I need to wash this down I had to ask her for a refill on my toddler water. She brings me another cup out this time no ice. I don't know if I've ever gotten a drink at a restaurant given with no ice after coming out with it or not requested. I don't know if she was distracted or checked out but again I don't say anything. Then the check comes. The bill is written on paper old school style so can't understand anything and it is about $10 more than should have been. Why did she charge us for the two home fries that she said were included!?!? I don't want bad energy or ruin day going back and forth with this lady just swipe my card and get away from this place. Why is there then an added upcharge for paying with card that was never listed or told prior to swiping!?!? I don't know why this place always has a line or is so busy. I wish I got her name but of course she never gave it! What an embarrassing experience. I've never not wanted to leave a tip before ever but I wanted to today (and I didn't). Original review from 2023: I went here due to the constant long lines and the rave reviews but was honestly disappointed. It is basic breakfast food. Maybe there is nothing else like it in the area but it just didn't match up to the ratings. Especially for the price!

Well, there was a very, very long line to place our order. It took an inordinate amount of time... 'twas a very slow moving line. Turns out they were shorthanded this morning. The barista was taking orders, making coffees, delivering orders, and who knows what else. She was phenomenal...like a one man show up there! Even with all that going on, our food still came out quickly. Now, the not so great ...an ice tea was over 5 bucks after tax. It was maybe a 12 ounce cup. It was very good, as it should be for that price. However, I went to the counter and asked for a refill. "That will be $5.27, please". Excuse me? Say what? You're charging 5 bucks for an ice tea and you can't even get a "free" refill? That's ridiculous. Needless to say, I didn't get a refill. I had water instead. That's why they don't get 5 stars from me. Everything else was pretty perfect.

For starters, the staff could not be nicer! Also, we love the etiquette sign on the front door that clearly states their cell phone and child policy. It was so nice to relax at breakfast without screaming children and people on their phones. With regards to the food, the asparagus omelette was the best omelette my MIL has ever eaten! Light and fluffy and absolutely delicious! The order of 3 pancakes are way too much for one person! One pancake is plenty. Cons- there was inconsistency with the hash browns. The first day I ordered them there were no onions which was great, but some of the potatoes were warm and others were ice cold. Because they didn't have onions on the first day I order them again on day two and this time they had onions which I cannot eat so this inconsistency wasn't good for me or my stomach. Also, as someone who can't eat gluten and doesn't eat eggs, I was a little disappointed by the limited gluten-free options. That said, the rest of my group was very happy with their meals!
