My family stopped here on vacation as we were leaving King Canyon National Park. It was crowded but there was no wait. You place your order at the counter and self seat which is fine but there was no direction to do such upon entering - I had to ask. I am rating as 3 stars because 1) The staff offered bare minimum in service - did not greet you upon entering, did not offer suggestions when trying to decipher the menu posted on the wall - and honestly did not seem very friendly. 2) it was not shared the establishment was out of basil for a margarita pizza until dressing the final ingredients after baking and the other pizza was served to our table. (Hence I would have changed my order initially vs. now I'm not going to make my family wait). And 3) the cleanliness of the floor and bathroom. It was raining outside when we arrived. The inside of the restaurant was spacious and felt cozy. We ordered a pizza, salad and cheesy bread to go but decided to eat it at the restaurant. They had a random movie playing in the top corner of the restaurant. There were plenty of booths to choose from and they had restrooms. The food was good, service was great and prices were decent. Pizza was excellent, maybe even the best i've had in a long time. Crust was crispy and thin, loaded with cheese and just a subtle hint of the bbq sauce coming through, making it very tasty. We went on a Monday evening so the place was relatively slow making service prompt. Its a relaxing place but seems like it would get busier as the week goes on. We came here after our trip to Kings Canyon National Park. We called to order ahead and was told it would take 35 minutes to make. But our pizza and garlic cheese bread was done when we got there in 20 minutes. There were a lot of people in the restaurant for the weekday, so they do seem to get pretty busy. We ordered a Grandpa sized pepperoni and pineapple pizza and an order of garlic cheese bread. The pizza hit differently for everyone. Some said it was bland and the crust was a little hard. I liked the crispy bottom, but agree that the sauce wasn't the best. The pizza was very cheesy as well as the garlic bread. Overall, the food was pretty good, though nothing was spectacular. Myself & hubby have been loyal customers for over 3 hrs. We would ride our motorcycle 180 mile round trip just for their awesome pizza but over the last year we have noticed a change of quality in their ingredients. Many different employee changes also. Came down the mountain with our family after spending the day in the snow. There was plenty of parking, however, it was at the beginning of dinner so it might be a little difficult to find parking later on during the rush. The staff was welcoming and explained their specialties. We ended up getting two separate pizzas, one for the adults and one for the kids. It came out fast and piping hot. Everything was tasty. The kids loved how bread the crust was. I personally am not a fan of it. My sister and I agreed that we would've preferred it. Slightly thinner on the crust. There are no options to adjust the crust size so be aware of that. However, the yeast of the dough was nice and chewy. The toppings were plenty for the price. Great for families and we enjoyed having good conversation while the kids watched a movie on the TV. Overall, if I'm ever traveling from LA to the mountains again, I would stop in again. Couldn't have asked for a more satisfying meal after our hike in Sequoia Nat'l Park. Super causal pizza place where you order at the counter and then find a booth/table. They do have a couple of booths that seat 6-8 and other smaller tables available as well. I paid $51 for a 16" Black Bear (combination) pizza and two orders of teriyaki wings. The pizza came out within 15 mins. It was delicious! The crust was crispy on the bottom and pillowy soft on top. The amount of toppings were generous. Our wings came out wayyyyyy after our pizza though. So much so that I was going to go to the counter to cancel the order but then they finally came out. However by that time, we had already finished eating. That was a bummer but overall we did enjoy our pizza. They have a little self serve station for condiments and to go boxes which I appreciated. The worst service I've ever had in my life. We waited about an hour for our pizza yes they were busy but there are people who came after us and they received their pizza first. The only reason I could see why is racism everyone was white and we were the only Hispanics. We bought a large pizza for four to eat there and a salad with ranch. We received our pizza finally with an attitude and only two plates for a party of four. We had to ask for more plates and we received an attitude. They forgot to give us our salad and we had to go to the counter and ask for it which the guy was rude about it as well. We are sitting right in front of you as you can see we don't have a salad in our table and he questioned us and asked for the receipt. Then forgot the ranch dressing and of course more attitude when we asked for it. To top it all off the pizza wasn't even good for how long it took I expected it to be really hot which it wasn't. If you're anything other than white don't come here do yourself a favor. The waitress asked everyone except us if we wanted refills for our drinks. They said it wasn't made and just kind of laughed it off. Place wasn't busy, lots of empty tables. Others had there orders wrong or "forgotten" also. Same thing happened to us about 2 months ago. Whole time we were there, no one ever came by the table to offer to refill our sodas, or ask if we needed anything. Staff needs training! On the plus side, the pizzas were better than usual.
