Good donuts! Great variety of flavors. They are always moist inside and literally melt in your mouth. I always stop for a dozen or two. The sandwiches are good but a bit pricey. To get a full lunch it will cost almost $10. There is nothing really special to their sandwiches. The salads look good though and big! I have never had their coffee either but it is Caribou. I love the decor. It is modern and clean. The bathrooms are beautiful. I especially love the big porch. Donuts outside on a nice day would be fantastic! I do love this little spot. read more

Great little lunch stop as we were headed to the Ark! Very close by. I love finding a new restaurant with character. This was a hit with myself and my friends. Portions were generous, price was good, and taste was superb! I ordered the chipotle turkey panini and made it a combo. LOVED IT!! Friends ordered club sandwich and a chicken bacon sandwich and all were very pleased with their meals. So much so that I purchased a loaf of their sourdough bread to take home. I highly recommend making this a stop if you are in the area. If I'm ever back that way I would love to try their breakfast menu! read more

If you were passing this place you probably wouldn't realize they had espresso, but they do. The name made me think they might, but I called just to make sure before getting off the highway. They also have donuts, panni sandwiches, soups, etc. I specifically stopped for an espresso, so I can't tell you what the food tastes like. It was around 9, so it was very quiet with only one customer and the only place open in the vicinity with espresso. I requested decaf, which they don't keep a regular grinder for, but the customer that was there happened to know the owner and called them to find out what they should do. Thankfully they do have a secondary grinder in the back. I am assuming that no one has requested decaf in the past, so that is why the barista wasn't aware of it. She was really sweet and it was because of her pleasant attitude and the fact that I felt sorry for her that I didn't walk out. I am giving this place the fourth star solely based on the pleasant staff and the helpful customer. I realize the focus at this place is more food vs. espresso, but if you are going to have an espresso machine your barista needs to be trained accordingly. My shoot was pulled in less than 7 seconds (not acceptable) and the barista did not know what Breve meant. Having worked in a coffee shop I will be the first to admit I am an espresso snob, but this time I let it go because the lady was so sweet I wasn't going to give her a hard time. With that being said I WILL go back because I think this place could be even more than it is as long as the owner steps it up and gets his baristas correctly trained. read more

Stopped in for coffee and dessert after dinner while visiting Dry Ridge. You Yelpers rated this one high, so we just had to give it a try. I must tell you, this is an OASIS in a desert of chain restaurants and fast food familiarity. (Not that those are all bad, but we like to try unique spots while traveling.) The pastries/doughnuts all look awesome, and the delicacy we tried -- a pumpkin spice doughnut with cream cheese frosting -- was superb! All bakery is homemade on the premises daily, while most of us are snuggled in our beds. Coffee is tasty, too! We'll be returning for one of those awesome looking sandwiches at lunch tomorrow before we leave town, and I may have to revise my rating to a 5-star. read more

Nice off highway local quick spot. It has good options all day but for breakfast has quality at an affordable price. The bacon, egg and cheese burrito is best with an extra egg and pepper. It's a little too cheesy for my taste but under $4, you can't beat it. Coffee was smooth but flavorful, self serve but they had espresso if you're in the mood for that. The doughnuts are the way to go. I had a maple one, and it melted into pure joy. If you wanna go all in sit inside its table section and dip it into your coffee. What a gem! I can't say enough great things about this restaurant. Everything my family got was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed by philly sandwich and my husband liked his Cuban. Every meal was served with three "Bean Bites" which were little homemade donut holes! What a nice surprise. My son also got a donut that puts Krispy Kreme to shame (and I love Krispy Kreme). They also had really delicious looking ice cream treats and coffee items. I look forward to coming again when we are in the area. Most sandwiches and salads are fresh and have wonderful flavor and presentation. Don't order the fu-fu coffee drinks (frappes, lattes, etc) never had a good experience. The frappes are always watery. I don't think they take enough time to really perfect a drink before offering it. All the baked goods are yummy. Donut holes are a great choice! If you're a coffee snob, the drip coffee is one of the best (caribou brand). If you get breakfast, the "El Gaucho" is a great option, fresh guac! read more

Enjoyed this place very much. Was on our way through delivering a harley and i Yelp'd.. Had to try!!! We had a philly and swiss panini and it was delicious. The coffee is very good and very good sweet tea. The lady even went to get me a special blue beans cup to purchase because i wanted a souvenier. Very great staff. Thank you for the experience.. One of my favorite businesses in the world in Kentucky. Found this place by random one day going up to Cincinnati from Lexington. A buddy and I were taking the back roads as I was doing some photography on our way up to Cincinnati and kind a got a little hungry and stopped in on this place. I've been here multiple times now and each time I'm never disappointed on how amazing the service, the food and the atmosphere is. This time I land of getting something from the breakfast menu which was delicious and simple. I just went with a biscuit egg, cheese and sausage. I also got a fruity pebble's doughnut which was kind of cool to get. As always I enjoyed each bite and the food is always nice and warm when it comes out. This is definitely a staple for me when I'm in Kentucky on my way to Cincinnati. I would highly recommend coming here for breakfast or lunch and even grabbing a few of their bakery items since they sell bakery items also. read more

I saw an interstate exit information sign and decided to give this place a try on my travels up to the north. Honestly I was hoping for a cinnamon roll or a sticky bun but they did not have either. Although slightly disappointed I decided to try 2 donuts; first maple glazed bacon and then I asked for a chocolate frosted, woman said chocolate glazed I said yes. Did not know there was a difference but I guess there must be. Regardless both of the donuts were quite tasty. The instant you walk in the door they ask what you would like. For being an out of towner it took me a second. I will stop by again as they appear to offer full breakfast as well as the pastries. Overall good experience would just like to see a cinnamon roll or sticky bun with pecans or nut of some sort. Nice size seating area. Outside pet friendly deck. This was a great alternative to the boring chain restaurants that are rampant on 75 south between Cincinnati and Lexington. We stopped by rather late (after 8pm), so there wasn't much left in the donut cabinet, but I can say that the sandwiches we all ordered were delicious (and I love that they came with a pickle and 3 donut holes!) Want one extra bag of chips? End of the line. Want extra mustard? Face the woman at the Pick Up. You should be able to get a refill or drink to go at pick up, especially since the drink fountain was there. It seemed like they had enough workers, just not enough up front. We came because of the Yelp reviews. Would return for another Reuben but would hesitate because of the slow service. The environment was great. Very updated, comfortable.
