Stopped here on a road trip. We were looking for not fast food and found a gem!! Staff was very friendly lots of good food to choose from vegan and gluten free menu options including baked goods!!! We just moved to the area and are always looking to support local businesses. We read the good reviews and thought we try Beans for lunch to go. We ordered 6 deli sandwiches and this is my experience: slow service and sandwiches were very small and mediocre at best. Perhaps my greatest disappointment is their flagrant display of their political views (on their building and on their employee work shirts). I may have tried them again to see if the service and food got better but we won't be back due to mixing their business with politics. read more

This is one of my favorite cafés to go to where you can still see a smiling face and friendly customer service. Not to mention they have great dishes to enjoy! Amazing Sandwiches! I hate the Turkey, Bacon, Chipotle and husband had a chicken sandwich. Both toasted on Sourdough made right on site! Freshness of vegetables was spot on great ice tea, yummy chips! For desert we shared a plan cheesecake slice with Carmel topping-literally the creamiest best cheesecake we have ever bought! So yummy and large slice we could barely finish! Also bought a pumpkin cream cheese muffin & meals came with doughnut holes we can't wait to try! I'd never been to Beans, but had heard several friends recommend it, so my family and some friends decided to check it out. They were busy on a Friday night, but we got a table and it didn't take too long to order at the counter. I ordered the Blue Bistro sans the cheese. Hubby ordered the World famous club and the kids got grilled cheese and mac & cheese. We all enjoyed our meals, the house sauce on my sandwich was delicious with a bit of a kick to it. My husband's club was huge and he thought it was great. The meals are served with a bakery item of the day. We got doughnut holes and they were tasty. We decided to try some dessert since the skillet sundaes looked really good. The kids got cones and we split a sharable Reese Moose Trail skillet sundae. It was huge! And so delicious. The kids had to help too. We had way too much sugar, but oh so yummy. The service was excellent and everyone was helpful and friendly. I'll definitely be back! read more

Me and my family have been frequent patrons of this establishment and have, generally been pleased with the quality of their food. Their service, although a bit slower than other establishments, is usually very good and my family has always raved about their staff. With this said, My family and I will no longer patronize this establishment because of their disregard for public safety in this COVID pandemic. In my profession I wear a mask and a shield all day every day. Admittedly, it may be a bit inconvenient but I've been taught to, always, go the extra mile to protect my family and my fellow man. I thought the ownership of this establishment shared this same value but their actions, of late, prove otherwise. I can not buy into the line of thinking that wearing a mask is an infringement of my rights and this step would not be necessary if everyone was willing to prioritize the health of their neighbors. It's apparent that the health and safety of the community is not a priority to the management of "Beans" and, in a business that is totally reliant on community support, it's not only disappointing, but it's also immoral and unethical. I'll be praying that management rethinks this indefensible position. read more

Being a life long resident of Grant County, Beans was and has been a much needed, refreshing, locally owned cafe/bakery! The establishment is well put together, family friendly, cozy, clean, Christian ran, and has amazing food! I come here often, once a week or every other week! My favorite is the Bacon Cheddar Chicken Sandwich, but all of their food are to die for! The BEST Donuts and coffee in town! The only downside is that the food does get pricy, but the money is well worth it. "You get what you pay for" and what you get is desirable! Always a pleasure coming in to Beans! While visiting Williamstown Lake, we decided to venture out for ice cream. Thankfully, my GPS brought us to this cute little place. Although we enjoyed the ice cream, it seems that donuts and muffins are the draw for this place. They do serve hand dipped and soft serve ice cream with plenty of options for toppings and mixtures. One friend got a caramel sundae on donuts. My brownie, chocolate and soft serve mixture tasted more like chocolate donuts than brownies. If you find yourself in Dry Ridge, Kentucky, for any reason your food choices are limited. There's McDonald's, Wendy's, Cracker Barrel and a few other generic establishments. I was disappointed when I looked at the Yelp map hoping to find something tasty for dinner before an event at the high school there. Beans came to the rescue! This locally owned coffee shop is Panera-esque, serving fare such as bagels, pastries, half sandwiches, salads and the like. Plus, they have donuts! And ice cream! So off to Beans we went. I ended up not being very hungry that night, so I just got an everything bagel with cream cheese and a coffee. The bagel was chewy and delicious, large but not enormous. It could have used some more of the everything seasoning, but was toasted perfectly and served with a reasonable but not skimpy portion of cream cheese. The coffee was a little disappointing. After ordering a cup and heading over to the self-serve station, I discovered there was only decaf left for the day. Unwilling to be the person who asks for a new pot of coffee to be brewed, I drank it. It was fine. My mother in law ordered a half club sandwich and a half Caesar salad. Both were generous portions and she said it was very good. While Beans may not be my favorite coffee shop, it's definitely my favorite establishment in this area. What a great alternative to the chains one usually finds off of the highway. All of the donuts i've had have been fresh and delicious. I've also tried the Cheyenne sandwich and the chai latte. Such a great stop for breakfast. My family and I stopped on the way home from Cincinnati. It is close to the highway and definitely worth the pause. We got breakfast.
