This is a popular location! When I've visited most recently, every table had a guest at it-with coffee and a laptop. Get here early if you want a seat. This is a good sign that they're doing something right and that people like to be here. Service is friendly and attentive, and your drink will come out quickly. It's extra impressive because they are managing the line of people inside as well as the line in the drive through. The donut holes are not amazing, however. Better off stopping next door if you want a donut, then come to B&B for coffee. read more

Great spot right by the highway/businesses to grab a coffee or some food. This location does have high schoolers stop by since the school is so close. I was in there and there was a high schooler sleeper in a booth around 10 am on a Thursday. Drive thru is quick and easy! read more

They used high altitude as the secret weapon for brewing coffee. Upon the nephew's suggestion I got the REVOLVER - 6 shots of espresso, white coco and the flavor of your fancy. I asked for a splenda and light almond milk. It was a more like 32 oz of milk with some espresso. If I ever go back I'll have to be more specific with the ratios. I really wanted to like this place and I'm a big believer in supporting local businesses, but this is more like a dessert drink place than a coffee house. I like my coffee pure, strong, and in the true Italian style. You won't get that here. Instead you'll get those overly-flavored frou frou coffee "drinks" that don't resemble coffee at all. That's fine if you are into that, no problem. But it's just not for me. I ordered a medium cappuccino (which is HUGE by the way) and I'm not sure if even 20% of my drink was actual coffee. It tasted and looked like a giant cup of warm milk with just a teeny tiny drop of coffee added to it. It was mostly milk and no java. Maybe in SLC folks don't like strong coffee. I should've ordered an espresso to see what I would've been served. The menu is heavy with blended sweet drinks or coffee drinks with lots of cream, sugar or flavored syrups. This would be a great place for a "starter" coffee drinker or somebody who doesn't really like the taste of coffee but really wants to be a "coffee drinker." Was just getting to hit the road for a Memorial Day trip so I decided to get a coffee from beans and brews aka beans and Booz. Had a change of heart at the last minute, changing my order from a hot to an iced coffee... over the intercom, I could tell that the lady working was annoyed but I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and drive to the window. Sure enough, she took my payment and gave me my coffees but then slammed the window on me before I could taste it and see if it was ok. This is no doubt my favorite Beans and Brews location, the employees there make the 25 minute drive worth it every time. I always get a soy, half-calf, sugar free hazelnut tan mocha with whip and cinnamon which is kind of complicated but the baristas there always have my drink ready for me without me having to order it! Good option to have for coffee and chai. The good thing about beans and brews is they have a pretty decent app that's convenient for creating a account for you and loading your account with a card that you usually use to pay or of your choice into your account. Once your account has been setup with card of your choice loaded , then you can just open your app up with your account loaded whenever you pull up to a beans and brew and they will scan what is a bar code associated with your account with a bar code reader and your account is charged. But the thing to note here is that you are not charged immediately, but beginning of every month. So if you say for example drink coffee each day of the week for $6 or so that's $ 42 a week and $168 or so every 4 weeks ie roughly a month and that's what beans and brews will charge you at the beginning of the following month, so make sure you remember to include that in your expense planning while you plan your other monthly expenses. Good coffee options with funny names like the revolver etc and thing I like is they seal their coffee etc i.e. Their hot beverages with a lid sealer cap that retains heat in your beverage better, a thing I think the likes of Starbucks can take note off. I'm usually not this harsh but this experience was, on almost every level, bad. The girl had trouble understanding my order at first. I ordered a 16oz triple shot soy mocha and a 16oz triple shot breve. She thought I wanted the triple shots separate from the two drinks and she didn't know what a breve was. Then a guy stepped in and told me that they got the order and that it would be ready in a minute. Now the soy drink was mine and I know there's a lot of modifiers in my order but I don't think it's that complicated and, besides, I am paying $5 plus tip for this coffee. The guy who handed me the drinks seemed "over it", kind of a stereotypical teenage attitude. He handed me my drinks and said, "here's the breve and the soy." Neither drink was made correctly. The mocha had no chocolate and the breve was made with regular milk. A terrible experience with both drinks and service. read more

I like the Beans & Brews franchise, patronize 3 different locations and love supporting local business versus national chains but this location consistently has very poor customer service. I stopped in this morning for a cup of coffee, nothing special, a simple cup of dark roast. The cashier took my money, said my coffee would be out in a moment and helped next customer in line. After waiting a few minutes I asked for my coffee and was told they were out of dark roast. I said ok, please give me a cup of regular roast. Nope, out of that too. This is the 3rd time in as many months I've stopped in where they are out of coffee. A coffee shop, out of coffee and no comment from the cashier when I paid that they were out. A nice change of pace from the Starbucks Megachain. The iced latte is too weak (needed 2 extra shots instead of 1) for my liking but the quality noticeable. Came here this morning for a quick breakfast and coffee. I had the spinach and artichoke pretzel, while my girlfriend had the everything bagel. Both were pretty good. My coffee was decent, and my girlfriend's chai latte was tasty but extremely over sweetened. She couldn't finish the whole thing, maybe partially because their smallest size is 16 oz. The only thing that really drove me nuts was that the employees were not calling out food and drinks loudly enough. I do love B&B coffee and their breakfast but each time I go, the service is sooooo slow. For example, I went there this morning and waited 35 minutes for a bagel and coffee; ridiculous! On top of that, my coffee was at room temperature and a smaller size than what I had paid for; pretty irritating. Over all, i would recommend B&B but not to this location. read more

I've been here before in a just passing through manner. I recently moved to the area and this place is one of the few coffee locations nearby open late on a Sunday night. I've had no complaints before and so tonight I gave it a shot rather than driving fifteen minutes to a Starbucks that's open late. So far? Kind of let down. The employee working was chatting with a friend when I came in and I felt like I was interrupting. The friend backed away and I apologized for interrupting. The food in the display case was already wrapped up though they weren't closing for two and a half hours. I ordered a decaf mocha (because it's late) and it tastes burned. I would ask for something else but the employee is chatting with his friend again. Besides, I already had to take the cold, cold muffin back and ask for it to be heated (he didn't ask if I wanted it that way, and I also had to ask for a plate because it came in a sack). At the rate that I've asked for things different from the way they were delivered, I'm in danger of looking like a disgruntled, hard to please customer. I'm not. It's simply that perhaps the employee would rather commiserate with his friend over paying attention to the details of his work. Honestly the kid was nice. It's just that next time I won't come back.
