My first time at the Beachwood Café! The service was so great, our food came out together, which was nice because we shared the same thing. We split the Baja burrito, which is already cut in half. The Baja burrito was delicious! It was a soft burrito, the jack cheese was my favorite, and I tasted the braised pork in it too. I'd get it again. We also shared the cornflakes French toast! It sounded so different and cool, we had to try it. It exceeded our expectations. I love the cornflakes texture and the French toast was yummy obviously Super cute little café with a nice area to walk around too. Good parking.
We had such a lovely time here for brunch. The lemon ricotta pancakes rocked my world. We added a savory choice with a yummy Benedict. The coffee is good here, and the fresh juice is refreshing. It's busy and bustling, but you can relax and enjoy your meal here. The retro wallpaper and sunny colors made me smile.
I wish this place was closer to home! We stopped in during vacation and were seated right away. The interior is so fun and eclectic and cozy with plants and fun art on the walls. My boyfriend and I ordered raspberry and peach flavored lemonades that were so refreshing and sweet! I had the smoked salmon benedict and my boyfriend got a pork carnitas breakfast burrito. Both were SO delicious we're still talking about them. The slow braised pork was so tender and my benedict was so fresh and light for something normally heavy! Not to mention our server was playing a Fall Out Boy/ P!ATD/emo playlist, which was awesome!
I had the opportunity to have breakfast at Beachwood cafe and it was a delight! The breakfast was hot and delicious and was served quickly! The servers were efficient and courteous. There are so many options for breakfast and lunch. A bonus is that breakfast is served until 4pm daily! The cafe was decorated as a cute little cottage which made it feel cozy. I highly recommend Beachwood cafe for breakfast or lunch!
So yum! I had a breakfast burrito and it was so so good. The potatoes are also perfect! This place is nestled in Hollywood, and we went on a Monday morning so service was very fast. I'm sure if you go on a weekend it will be very crowded. It's so cute in here!

Perfect little restaurant at the end of the hill in Hollywood Hills. They are busy, always busy! Friendly enough staff. You can dine in, order for pick up or get your food delivered. My kiddo wanted pancakes, they were pretty good. They have pastries for purchase as well. Try them out if you are in the area.
The food was incredible. My friend and I shared the chipotle steak wrap with house fries, and it was so good--flavorful, perfectly cooked, and super satisfying after a hike. Highly recommend the steak wrap. We also ordered a guava matcha, which was refreshing and unique, and paired really well with brunch. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. Everything came out smoothly, and the overall experience felt relaxed and easy. The vibe is such a win. It has modern diner energy while still paying homage to classic LA, which felt spot on. The space is clean, bright, and full of greenery, and the music added to the laid-back but upbeat atmosphere. It's the kind of place you instantly feel comfortable in. We'll definitely be back--this was the perfect brunch stop and an easy recommendation.

I came to the Beachwood Cafe while visiting friends in LA. This place was super adorable with its vintage diner-like vibe! I can see why Harry Styles sang about this place! Given the Hollywood fame, I wasn't sure if it would be overrated or not. I came in, was seated promptly at a booth, and ordered a krispy grilled chicken sandwich with a side salad. Expectations were kind of low, but I was very pleasantly surprised that it was so delicious! I wouldn't say it's "krispy" as much as the sauce in there really gives it a great flavor! While it can be a little messy to eat, the overall sandwich really surprised me (in a good way). The salad paired nicely with the sandwich. Since my booth was right next to the pastry counter, I HAD to try something! I ended up going for the dulce de leche cheesecake, which was honestly great! Overall, I'd come here again for a good meal under the Hollywood sign. It wasn't too bonkers pricey either! Of note, I did get an extra slice of dulce de leche cheesecake to go! (As reflected in the bill of $37.21 without tip).
1000000/10. My favorite cafe in LA. You can see the Hollywood sign. Got an iced cardamom latte 10/10. Lines can be long to get a table tho so be aware of that. Great service & great ambiance. Coffee was not out.

The coffee menu is extensive, and as a bit of a coffee connoisseur, I wanted to try everything. I settled on a lavender breve, which came in a generous-sized cup and was very satisfying. Perfect stop after a hike. The food was delicious and was gone in no time. There's usually a wait on weekends, but it moves quickly. Clearly a favorite with locals -- lots of people popping in for takeout, which is always a good sign.
This place was highly recommended post hike by a lot of yelpers. There was a line when we got there and almost gave up after seeing my name #10 on the list. I noticed that there were quite a few empty tables so decided to suck it up and stay. Prob waited a total of 15 min before we were seated. Place looked really nice and servers were great. Soda Drinks and water were refilled all the time even though it was packed. Had the margherite pizza which I . Think crust, big enough serving to be shared, lots of basil and some cut tomatoes. It was the right amount of cheese and could probably used a little bit more tomato sauce. He had the 2+2+2 with an upgrade on the French toast (cornflakes French toast). A+ on the French toast, it was light and the cornflakes gave it a nice crunch! Would def order them again. 4 stars bec it was pricey. And have to figure out the connection between this place and Harry Styles?

been coming here for nearly 6/7 years now and i'm never disappointed. the servers and hostesses get you situated very quickly once you are off the waitlist. while there's only less than a handful of things to do while you wait, the views are nice if you just want to sit outside (limited benches & areas) and enjoy the area. beachwood market is a great place to kill some time and explore a quaint neighborhood market; rip to the beachwood "gift shop" prior to 2021! there's basically no way to go wrong at this restaurant; everything is so delectable. i gravitate towards their cheeseburger (sans cheese haha) with their panko fries. i've had their breakfast french toast, scramblettes, chicken sandwiches, cauliflower, and baked goods; all are amazing. i've had a variety of their drinks, though i will say these do not come with refills and are a smaller serving size. servers are always incredibly sweet and helpful. i've ate here alone and with groups of people and receive the same superb service each time. i absolutely love bringing friends here for the first time. if you're feeling it, you can drive up about a mile and park to do a really quick Hollywood sign hike! the neighborhood is nestled pretty into the hills, and the roads are very curvy the more north you go, so it can get steep if you park out of the immediate radius of the area. there are lots of places to visit just within a 20 minute drive, so this is a great stop before or after you've gone shopping, hiking, or site-seeing! literally right off the 101, you can go right to universal studios, warner brothers studio lots, & the hollywood bowl if you go up north. if you stay below the valley, you can get to sooo many LA spots quickly: walk of fame, TCL theatres, sunset blvd, etc. if the traffic isn't too bad going down south, i recommend the Academy Museum, the Grove, & LACMA, which are all walking distance to each other. overall, a fave place to go and branch out and do other things in the area! read more

Finally made it to Beachwood Cafe! On a random Sunday, I was dreading how crowded it was going to be, but I was pleasantly surprised. Upon walking in, the crowd of people were waiting for tables so I was able to head left to the register/counter. For my first meal here, I wanted to try the 12" Micky D's Dropout pizza (minus onions). As I looked around, there was a decent amount of seating from stools against the windows to a private room with curtains open off the register area. Bright, airy and busy were my first impressions. I have to say service was a standout; I had stood at the register for not even a moment when a nice girl smiled and said someone would be right with me and right then, a guy came on over to take my order and answer any questions I had. As for the food, I enjoyed this unique pizza. The sauce had a slight kick to it for my weak palate, and I think my favorite part of this was the pickles throughout. Crust was crispy, and overall, it was filling. Looking forward to my next visit, either to dine in or getting it to go... Okay, my following visit was the next day and I loaded up on grease (bacon) and starch (breakfast potatoes and panko crusted fries). Bacon and breakfast potatoes were good, fries were okay but even at okay, I wiped the plate clean. Service once again was A+, and one day I'll dine in to have the whole experience. Finally a third trip within the week, I had the s'mores latte and chocolate chip pancakes. I wish the latter came in 2 instead of 3 since I never finish all of them, but they were okay. I'd skip the latte next time and try something else that I'm sure is good. The only thing that prevents this from being 5-stars is that the price on the receipt for the pizza I had is higher than the online menu. It's only a couple dollars difference (GF crust is additional but I did not order that) but I wish they were all on the same page. I admit it was the higher price on their physical menu, but I hope they can update accordingly. I know the excuse would be the typical 'prices are subject to change without notice'... Over the years and being a native Angeleno, I've heard abt this cute lil cafe at the top of the Hollywood Hills in Franklin Village. But have never been until now. We scheduled a duplex tour with our realtor and decided to explore the adjacent business+neighborhood. Super cute! The Beachwood cafe is tucked away further north on Beachwood Drive, and is very reminiscent of the Golden age of Hollywood. Most buildings have the old Spanish style architecture: with verandas and arched doorways. Dropped in to grab a latte with the hubby, no wait whatsoever and had a yummy, Fantasy chocolate pastry to go as well, since indoor seating is reserved for the restaurant proper. Will drop in: another day with more time, to have that experience. Our lattes were yummy, my iced matcha wasn't overly sweet. In fact, it was perfectly made and the service was amicable and quick. We sat outside the cafe and people watched, there were tour business and many transplants or visiting folks. Def a tourist destination. Parking was easy pezzy, you circle around back and it's shared with the adjacent, local market. The cafe interior is cozy, with alotta vintage character. One feature which stood out was the foliage; 60 potted plants of various kinds: which were hung, or decorated the many large windows of the cafe. Makes you feel at home, if you have a green thumb. Will return for more foodies on the next visit, exploring more duplex buildings in the neighborhood, thanks guys! read more

I love this cafe! I've only ever been inside to grab coffee as the wait is usually pretty long, but the vibes are amazing inside, It has a very cozy and warm vibe. You can walk straight up to the counter to order some coffee and to go pastries, which all looked amazing! The smores bar caught my eye I will definitely be trying next time. We got an iced Nutella latte and a raspberry matcha and both were great. The matcha wasn't overly sweet and the Nutella latte tasted just like chocolate milk. The service was great and super fast. I will be returning to dine in here very soon! read more

The food is delicious! My eggs Benedict was perfect! The service is really nice and friendly. The ambiance is casual, beach vibe, a lot of tourists. It is an iconic place where in the weekend they have waiting line. You can use the Market parking lot. I know it is hard to park there. read more

Excited to visit here on my way to see the Hollywood sign which was very visible on the the drive there. Upon entering I could see the retro vibe touches which made for a fun and casual vibe. The staff were friendly and service was quick. I enjoyed a scone and a cappuccino and got a chocolate chip cookie to go. The cookie was a great snack later in the day. I understand why this shop comes up for those wanting to see the Hollywood sign, so definitely stop by. read more

Nice small cafe up in the Hollywood hills. Coffee was good. Ambiance seemed nice and welcoming. I would come back to sit down and enjoy a meal. The fruit tart wasn't spectacular but I don't believe it's made in house and that's understandable. read more

Beachwood cafe is a cozy respite from the dense rush of LA. The ambiance is soothing and staff friendly. The green smoothie was exactly what I needed so when you're in for the Hollywood sign, definitely grab a drink and get those steps in! read more
I absolutely loved eating at the beachwood cafe. I've come here twice and both times I was blown away by how good the food is. It is very popular because of Harry Styles reference to the beachwood cafe, but it is much more than just the name! I got the guava matcha which was so delicious and unique. The steak wrap was incredible, the steak itself was so soft and melted in my mouth. The wait is super long so be prepared!! read more

One of my all time favorites. The best place to bring visitors for a delicious meal. I get an iced lavender oatmilk latte and the Beachwood scramblette. It's perfect every time. All the servers are great, and the atmosphere is just cozy and cute. read more
