This is a neighborhood gem for sure. My friend Rebecca and I had the pleasure of visiting this lovely cafe. The owner use to own Rocky Mountain Chocolate in the Southbay Galleria, so there are many delicious desserts and caramel apples with various toppings. My friend and I shared the Southwest Chicken Bowl and a Chicken Sandwich. Both were delicious. The balsamic they use is the best! The vanilla latta was great and we both had the Cleanse Juice. It is very relaxing to sit out on their patio. Rumor has it the toasts on their menu are excellent. The owner and staff are very friendly. I highly recommend this new cafe. read more

We got an açaí bowl, the chicken sandwich and a turkey. Just like everyone else the wait was long and we were the only ones in line. There was only one person there and she said they didn't have any mustard and only had one type of cheese. The park was what got us there. We were gonna eat while the kids played but it took so long that we needed up eating at home. At least my husband got his mustard that way. I have eaten at Beach Cities Cafe twice in the last three weeks. Both times I've been greeted warmly and everyone has been helpful. I also ordered the Supreme Toast both times and I'll probably order it again the next time I go. When you find something you enjoy you don't want to change. I really really want to like it here. Unfortunately, everything takes FOREVER, I ordered 2 lattes this am. They say there getting cold and finally after I asked for the 3rd time she gave me them. I ordered the chicken sandwich with the Mayo on the side, no Mayo. While I waited and waited for the side of Mayo, a woman came in to pick up her to-go order. She ordered Nutella toast 2 ways. BOTH ways were wrong. She asked for the re-order to be expedited and the girl working said "I'm not sure I have a lot of orders". I live a block away and unfortunately will not be back. read more

This place is wonderful! They have fresh and healthy food and drinks! My favorite is the farmers market avocado toast and the fresh squeezed juices made daily! They are under new ownership and have reduced prices which is nice during this crazy time. And, have some sweets options available, which is new! I really wanted to like this place since we live right down the street and would love a local place to come to. We (me and my 2 kids) arrived on a dead monday afternoon (today) with literally no one else eating there. All the tables were empty and the 2 people behind the counter weren't making anything. I went inside with my mask on and placed an order with Pedro for a smoothie, expecting it would be prepared relatively quickly since the place was deserted except for us. I was wrong. We waited outside patiently for 10 minutes expecting that any second the server would be bringing it out. I went inside asking if it was still coming. Another couple had showed up while we were waiting and they had started preparing their order but still no progress on ours. I asked if it was still coming and they asked me what I ordered. I reminded them that 10 minutes ago I ordered a smoothie. They seemed confused as to why I had come in and made no apologies for the delay and actually seemed annoyed that I was asking for our order. They said it would be right out so I went back outside and waited with my hungry kids. We waited 5 more minutes and my kids were getting antsy so I went back in to see what the holdup was. They obviously still weren't making it and seemed not to care that we'd been waiting 15 minutes. So I asked for a refund and then the owners came out. The woman seemed nice and was somewhat apologetic and wanted to make things right. The man owner (who said his name was Mike) was annoyed with me for asking for a refund and didn't apologize once. He was overtly rude and basically told us not to come back. Needless to say, we won't be back. Too bad, we would have come here all the time had the service been remotely acceptable. Sad that the store changed ownership. The food used to be fresher and tasted better. Also sad to see that they switch over to Peets coffee, definitely a down grade from Two Guns. And now they put up parking signs just for their cafe. The area used to be more friendly to the neighborhood and felt more close knit. What a perfect little cafe! We stopped after our bike ride. It's located right next to the Redondo bike path. The tropical Acai bowl was so fresh and delicious! This place has the best avocado toast and sandwiches in the South Bay. The coffee is amazing as well and super friendly staff.

I used a mobile app and paid $3.99 for something that does not even worth $1. My surprise bag contain a tiny bag of 3 cookies plus a bottle of juice with a label peeled off. I initially thought it was made by them, but it was definitely not, as it looked like a bottle of Naked juice. Clearly, it was already expired. Otherwise, there was absolutely no need to peel off a label that shows ingredients and expiration date. It's illegal to peel off ingredient label, as people need to know what they are drinking to avoid getting allergic. It's also unethical to sell expired food. Both my son and I tasted the juice which tasted so awful with mint in it. If we were to buy a bottle of Naked, we would have the options to select what flavor and expiration dates. However, this cafe simply peeled off the label so we know neither expiration date nor flavor. I usually can get Naked juice that was about to expire in 99 cent store for only $0.99 or $0.5 if it expires sooner. If it already expires, it should be thrown away not sold in a surprise bag to give us such a TERRIBLE surprise. I will NEVER go back again!!! read more

I really wanted to like this place!! We live in the area so it is the perfect place for us to walk to. We stopped by on a Saturday morning and ordered a breakfast sandwich and I also purchased 3 of the little bags of candy they have (chocolate covered gummy bears, chocolate covered pretzels and chocolate covered orange jelly sticks) and the total was $23; definitely a little pricey but it was ok because I will pay a premium to support small businesses. Because of covid there is no indoor or patio seating which is fine because there is a park right behind it so we just sat down at a bench. The sandwich was pretty lackluster and I was pretty surprised when the cheese that was on the sandwich was a Kraft single- like the kind that are individually wrapped in plastic, the sandwich also didn't have very much egg on it which was a bummer. My biggest complaint however is the candies that were sold were all old. They had to have been sitting on the shelf for weeks if not months. The chocolate was dry and the gummy bears were hard. I want to like it here. Sometimes what I buy is correct and tastes good. Sometimes it's wrong. Every time it's extremely long wait, like, unreasonable how long of a wait. Makes me think the staff hasn't been trained, or trained by someone who has ever been employed as a barista. It is a poorly run operation. I was working by this location today and stopped to grab something to eat. I love to try little places as in my opinion you get better food and service. I wasn't disappointed the food was good. This was my last visit to this coffee bar. I went with my mother-in-law 2 weeks ago and the girl in front of the bar was a little rude. I asked her for a natural juice and she told me that the only thing that she can give me was ice coffee because they were almost closed (it was 5:450) and she had everything clean already. Well, my mother-in-law went yesterday by herself, and it was 4:45 and the girl told her that she can not give her anything cause they were about to close, only what was on the fridge.
