Terrible company. I ordered an expensive camera kit that included many accessories, one being a charger. They did not send the charger, and when I contacted customer service (and provided a screenshot that clearly shows the kit with charger) they said sorry, "the image is for illustration purposes only" and they would not include a charger (despite their listing showing it!). After repeated emails back and forth they finally offered me a $30 refund (the charger sells for $98). Not even close. Good prices, yes. When you have to return - beware! Bought an Olympus camera and wife didn't like it's features once it arrived. Called them and they gave us a RAN number to place on the box. Returned it and never heard from them about it. Called them a few weeks later, they absolutely denied receiving shipment of it. Disputed with them through the BBB, still no resolve. To this day, they never refunded my item and their story is that they never received it. So if you return, lesson learned - get insurance and a signature required. read more

I ordered an external hard drive from them in Sept. 2013 and since it was purchased as a Xmas gift, installation wasn't attempted till late Dec. At that time we found the item was a different model than what was ordered and the item rec'd was not compatible with my older model Mac. The packing slip showed the correct item so Beach either knowingly substituted another model or there was a mix-up. I reported all details to them and they refused to tell me if they even had the correct item, so I'm assuming they substituted without my consent. They also refused to allow a return and credit since it was past their standard 60 days even tho' I explained the circumstances. IMO they are not a reputable company. read more

Sure wish I would have had the time to read the reviews before placing an order. My husband and I were flying out at 6 am on a Wednesday to catch a cruise ship to Alaska. We ordered a camera through Amazon Prime - with guaranteed two day shipping - on the Friday prior to the Wednesday departure. Beach said since we ordered after 3:00 PM EST on a Friday, the order would not be processed until Monday (huh??) but did guaranteed the two day delivery, by 8:00 PM Tuesday. NO TUESDAY DELIVERY. Our camera was delivered, left sitting on our porch, as we flew over Wednesday morning. My husband didn't want to place the order because he didn't feel we'd receive the camera in time to take on our vacation but I've ordered through Amazon Prime before and have never had any problems with two day delivery. I just hope I get my refund, as we had to purchase another camera before getting on the ship, and this one is going back to Beach Camera. read more

Beware! Inspect the items carefully. I received my TV in perfectly looking condition form outside. Glad I insisted to test the TV before accepting delivery. The screen was damaged that too pretty significantly though it appeared perfectly fine from outside. Emailed their customer service followed by a call next day, they said can't replace and would rather issue a refund once they get a confirmation that shipping company has the TV in their possession. When I called, they sent me to Escort and I generally got the run-around. All I get now are automated replies and emails saying that they cannot do anything outside of the return period. I did a lot of research into what the best noise canceling headphones would be for a transatlantic flight that I suddenly needed to go on the next day. I scoured the internet and found that Beach Camera had the best price on those headphones I settled on- the Audio-Technica ATH-ANC7B Quitepoint Noise Canceling Headphones. Since I saw them on eBay I didn't feel comfortable ordering expedited shipping to arrive the next morning because I was not sure if it would ship out THAT day (to arrive the next day) or arrive the day after my flight departed. I spoke to Dave over the phone and made it clear from the outset that I NEEDED the headphones sent Priority Overnight and he told me not to worry because they were in the warehouse and WOULD ship out that day. Furthermore, when I asked for shipping info he told me that a tracking number would be sent to me that night. (I also paid an extra $10 on top of the ebay price because Dave told me it was "an ebay only price" (which is obviously BS but I let it slide at the time)). Long story short I was flat-out lied to. When I did not get the promised email and when I saw no package by 10:30 AM I called Beach and they told me the headphones were on backorder and not ready to ship yet. Thankfully they allowed me to cancel the order without putting up a fight. I am so sick of these supposedly reputable companies who lie through their teeth in order to get a sale even when they know that the specific expectation they are setting for the buyer (In my case next day delivery) will not be met. When I say that they're scammers, I mean that they actively have an apparent partnership with a phishing service. The defective camera that I received came with papers saying that if I had difficulty, I should contact their customer service at 1-800-572-3324. This is NOT their customer service number but a phishing line. Their email support is refusing to give me a return. When I confronted them about the phone number, they also REFUSED to discuss it-- rather than giving a correct phone number or denying the connection. I've worked for companies that have had misprints in their phone numbers; if it's a misprint, you apologize and give the customer a real one. You might get a working camera from them, you might not. And if you didn't, they'll try to get more money from you by trying to phish you on the "customer service line". read more

Well it is now Wednesday and I have called the company at least 8 times in the last 2 days because my camera hasn't been shipped out. I wish I read all these honest 1 star reviews before making mistake of buying from this guy via Amazon. I'll never buy another Samsung product again after this experience... I didn't even realize I was ripped off until a year or two after buying the 32 inch Samsung TV claiming to be 1080P. Yet the HDMI never displayed 1080p since cable broadcasts in 1080i or lower. It was not until I got a Blu-Ray player that I realized this item was either a fake as Amazon suggested it might be... At the very least defective, I contacted Samsung, spent hours talking to them trying everything possible... I noticed the USB drive regardless of what we tried or how many different USBs wouldn't read/detect even attempt the firmware update I downloaded hoping it might fix the issues. It wont even allow me to view the Blu-ray movies at all... Nothing that is 1080p will work with this since the HDCP or something isn't right... Assuming this is even a real Samsung TV not a fake as Amazon seems to think it might be after talking to them for a few hours. I've never been so angry, I bought 3 used Blu-Ray players having no problems hooking them up to an older 1080p LG from around 2010 or a newer Sceptre to a Sony... I have a C5-C7 neck fusion, 2 plastic spacers in my neck w/ titanium teeth so I wasn't even able to watch DVDs or Blu-Rays at all... Otherwise I probably would have found out in time to handle this by getting a refund quickly... I know many old people like my 80 year mother would never realize this wasn't giving 1080p since they mostly watch 1080i cable/TV or lower. I hope somebody will read this instead of buying a product from this criminal who I think knowingly sold me a fake or defective unit. I found it odd when looking on-line not typing in any brand names that Samsung came up with this error regarding 1080p 32 inch TVs or their Blu-Ray players. The screen just shows black saying there is no signal... I can't watch legally bought Blu-Rays or display anything in 1080p on a 1080p TV??? In general it never worked well, I was new to HD, I didn't know about HDCP, 1080i compared to 1080p or anything about 4K. I just tried to get a 1080 TV with the 16:9 best screen size I could afford so I could watch my Anime without any commercials or distractions. I don't have anything going for me in life, no future, I just wanted to not bother anybody watching Blu-Rays alone. Yet between criminals like this selling defective units that the 1080p never worked nor will allow USB t update... The bogus copy protection making a person become a pirate just to watch stuff without hassles. I was looking to buy up some Blu-Rays thinking how great it would be to have them in 1080p... Yet I'll never be able to see 1080p or even hear it on the 1080p Sansumg 32 inch TV I bought from this crook via Amazon. I have PTSD from getting rear ended in car accident/surgery for the neck fusion... I should be paralyzed, I was treated badly by the police, doctors, even had them try to commit me for complaining about what an MRI showed... They kept saying how it was all in my head refusing to even send me for a MRI in first place... Then they finally after months of me complaining going to doctors sent me for MRIs showing I was a jolt away from being crippled for life in a wheelchair. This experience was worse, I was so upset that lost about 10 days of sleep. I learned more about tech in the last week or so than anybody :). Did everything possible, running wires, trying different HDMI, buying component cables. Its funny even the USB port has a bogus copy protection that wants me to register my TV to watch anything on it??? I finally realized I was taken advantage on purpose when reading all these 1 star reviews... This person should be arrested, banned from selling anything on Amazon etc. It reminds me of my only purchase with Circuit City getting some phone or answering machine... It didn't work right out of the box, I didn't realize it until much later... Yet I found it had a return sticker on it from somebody who returned it prior to me. So they resold something as new that was returned to them as defective in the first place. They tried to give me trouble in that case but once I showed them their own return sticker still on it... Lets just say I got my money back quickly without ever returning to a place that would close down soon after. I would suggest strongly not to buy anything Samsung or from this place ever. I thought I just had really bad luck or Samsung had become a horrible company. I saw many having HDCP conflicts, only honest decent people, since its already been cracked by pirates so they watch everything in 4K without issues. Due to their concerns over security of their shipments, I had an issue with the package being delivered to my apartment and could not arrange to pick it up at a FedEx facility as I generally do. I wrote them an email through Amazon's service and I received a prompt reply from Bill at Beach Camera, who quickly addressed my issue. Most impressively, his manner of addressing my issue and compensating me for the trouble far exceeded my expectations. It is very clear that Beach Camera values its customers, which is far more than can be said about other businesses. When I decide to upgrade my camera, I will be ordering from them again. The next day received email that order had been cancelled. Amazon customer service informed me that Beach Camera was out of inventory. I had placed a 2nd order with Amazon also to take advantage of special financing and had to cancel it too because financing no longer available. BEACH CAMERA IS UNTRUSTWORTHY AND UNRELIABLE! Bought a laptop from Walmart online and as I was checking out it says the item is no longer available so I thought my payment didn't go through. I then ordered the laptop directly from beachcamera.com and later found out two laptop has been sent to my house with a beat up box. I tried to send one back to Walmart but Walmart said I had to return it back to beachcamera. I tried to call them to explain my situation and was still told I had to pay for shipping which was 44 dollars. Not very happy about this and I will never order from this company again. read more

I ordered a $500.00 Nikon Camera through Amazon as a gift for my daughter. Delivery was supposed to be on Wednesday. I worked from home that day to receive it. Had a message a little after 2:00 from Amazon that the package was delivered. Which was odd because none of our motion sensors sounded and no one knocked on the door or rang the doorbell. There was no package. So, I pulled up the tracking from Fed Ex. It showed that the package was delivered to my porch/ front door at 11:11. Again, I was home, no knock or doorbell, no motion detectors went off. I contacted Amazon and they asked me to check my neighbor. I walked the cul de sac and no package with my name at any door. Amazon contacted Beach Camera and now it is Friday. They responded saying, my claim was inconsistent in what Fed Ex was saying. So............ I have no camera for the gift. I don't have another $500.00 to spend. I am out an entire day at the office, and according to Beach Camera, I am also lying. This is frustrating. lesson learned on my part. read more

I ordered Olympus Pen E-PL7 camera through Walmart on August 23 (it was supposed to be delivered by Beach Camera) paid extra $ for express delivery and still haven't received the product. When I was finally able to get in touch with them today after numerous unsuccessful phone calls, they told me it will take another 5 days. I just also found out, the product I ordered is refurbished even though, it was labeled as new. After this I told them to cancel the order but few minutes later I received an email that said, my order was just shipped and $457 was charged through my PayPal. Worst delivery experience I've ever had from purchasing any product in my life. To call it a nightmare would be an understatement. Due to my normal life of having a job between 7-5 I could not be present to sign for my package. Upon contacting Fedex they said they can't hold the shipment for pick up because the shipper (BeachCamera) has a no hold mail on the package. The back and forth between BC and Fedex, and package being sent to the wrong fedex, going to that fedex and being told the package was not there after driving an hour is craziness. It was so bad, I had to contact BC to contact Fedex to get their package back for a full refund. They need to do something about this stupid no hold policy because package has to be signed at Fedex for any hold. read more
