I bought 2 Fitbits for my kids for Christmas. On Christmas morning, they decided that they no longer wanted a Fitbit. So on the day after Christmas, I contacted Beach Camera to process a return. They stated that it was outside the return window. I explain to them that was bought as a Christmas gift and most other retailers have extended return windows for that very reason. They said that they can only except a return if they charge me a 30% restocking fee. This is after I had contacted somebody on December 4 explaining my dilemma because I tried to return earlier in the month and they said it shouldn't be an issue. Their solution was for me to try to sell it on eBay or on another marketplace venue. I don't think that's very good customer service in my opinion. Everything is still in its original packaging and it's not like I waited for months after Christmas to try to return it. It's literally five or six days outside of the return window. I will never purchase anything from them again. It's the worst experience ever. read more

I asked about it and they said they were packaging the items and would send me the tracking number when available. Every 2 days I asked and got the same response. WE bought a Echelon exercise bike from WalMart.com and the order was filled through Beach Camera. The price was great and it advertised 1 year subscription. We got the bike unboxed and assembled it only to find out that WalMart had no idea about the subscription. When we contacted Beach Camera a gentleman offered us a $100 credit for the subscription (which didn't include the cycling program). We contacted WalMart again they passed our complaint to Beach Camera and I offered a solution of crediting the cost of 1 year subscription to Echelon ($480) they sent a copy of what they claim was an order invoice from WalMart which was different than mine. Which I sent to them for their review. I don't know who I'm more upset with WalMart for the Bait and Switch or Beach Camera for not understanding that they are not very good at customer service. WOW, What a fly-by-night outfit. Stay clear of these people. What a dickin around they gave me. I ordered from them direct over the phone.The guy promised me that I would receive my item the next day or the following day. Every time I called to check on it, they gave be the same runaround. They said that their finance depart was checking to see if I have the amount of money available for them to get it. I understand that because it was over $2,000,00. I checked with my bank. I have ordered an Item on amazon through beach camera, got charged immediately, while shipment is in progress they recalled the item. In the whole process I didn't get any proactive communication on what's happening with my shipment. When i reached to them they said wrong item was send from what i have ordered, they are going to send correct one, waited for a while as there is no response from beach camera reached out to amazon. Amazon raised a claim with them - received an message that they are working to resolve the issue. One week gone no reply to me or Amazon. So amazon found that these guys are not legitimate, shipping information they provided was not legitimate. In the whole transaction i have lost very good deal with another vendor. Shady business practice - go with a better reputed online retailer instead! Their website had some DDR4 memory listed at $369. I put in an order and it was later cancelled. The reason given was it was out of stock, even though their website showed the item still in stock, only now at a higher price. Called and spoke with customer service and they gave an unconvincing half-hearted explanation that it was briefly out of stock and then they got some more and changed the pricing, all in the span of mere hours (yeah, right!). Then the CSR gave me the real reason: management cancelled the order because it was a price mistake. They made it sound like the price was outrageously erroneous when in fact a competitor had the item for not much more at the same period of time. Amazon, Newegg and the like usually honor their price mistakes, or at least tell you the truth from the start as to why your order was cancelled. Do yourself a favor and buy from a better reputed online retailer that will be honest with you at all times. read more

If they were not ready for bundle orders then how come bundle was showing available on Amazon portal while I was placing order? I wish there is zero star option. I purchased a TV from this seller, two weeks later the package was delivered to some wrong address, not even in the correct city. And then I contacted them to send me a replacement. They refused because the TV was out of stock. Two days later, the TV was back to stock, and I asked them to send a replacement again, they refused again. This time they said this is their policy: only refund and I can re-order. There was promotion when I placed the order, but they refused to honor the promotion when I tried to reorder. They left me no choice, only accepted their refund. Do you think it is the end? Bought from them via Amazon. Insane! TV was defective (big white patch on the screen). They refused to return it because I didn't have the orginal packaging. This requirement was not made clear at purchase time. I offered what I thought was 2 perfectly good solutions: Send me a new TV and I will return the defective one in that box OR I would have the TV packaged and sent to them from Fed Ex. We went back and forth while they ignored both proposals completly and finally they basically, but politely, told me to suck it up and take my complaint to to Samsung. Am in separate discussions with both Amazon and Am Ex (thank goodness for Am Ex!) to resolve this. Amazon is working with some shoddy sellers these days. I came in here because I was in the market for buying a DSLR and since I have never purchased one before, I wanted to ask a couple questions. First of all, when we walk in, we stood by the counter for a really long time before being helped, even though there was someone sitting in the center island area just flipping though a magazine. When I asked them what they wanted me to do, they told me they had no record of sending me anything and that the blender was on backorder and would take 2-3 days. I told them that they did send me the coffee bar. A week later I received 4 water bottles that come with blender. I never did get the blender, it's been 3 weeks. Really bad experience. Had ordered a room heater on black friday, 2018. I think it was nov 27th or something. I had ordered it from walmart website where beach camera was selling a room heater for cheap..So i must confess that I took the bait and ordered. It was only one dollar or two lesser than amazon, still shouldn't have done it. So they told me the next day that the item was shipped. But it took almost a month to get to arizona from NJ. I was joking that I could even walk all the way to edison and be back with the heater in that time. And even worse was that I had given my work address for delivery which was inside the university. And it was shut down for christmas. Long story short by the time I got the heater in my hand on Jan 11th, winter in arizona was over. Not losing hope i went to return it on walmart and i was welcomed by a note which said: " since its sold by beach camera, no returns are allowed". Ordered an item online. It shipped. Tried to redirect it to the FedEx store and was told that Beach Camera restricted that and to contact them. I did so and was told they don't do that. When I asked why I was accused of trying to commit fraud. If anything I'm trying to make it more secure. You have to show picture ID at a the store. I was given one choice: return the laptop but pay for return shipping and I would lose the shipping charge it took for the laptop to get to my house. This will be a mixed review. Honestly, had I done my due diligence and researched Beachcamera (BC), I probably wouldn't have purchased from them. If I was reviewing strictly on price and product received, I would absolutely rate them 5 stars. I got the Phantom 4 Pro+ (drone) bundle that comes with the drone, backpack, 64GB SD card, extra battery, 3-battery charger, prop protectors, and an additional camera bag. All that for $1849, just $50 more than you can get the drone itself anywhere else. Heck, the extra battery alone goes for about $160, so the bundle price was a heck of a deal. I ordered on a Wednesday evening & paid a little extra for 2-day shipping (website showed the item in stock). Had a little snafu with my credit card company - they thought it was a fraudulent charge. I confirmed that it was legitimate, and was told that they had already declined the charge so I should contact the company and have them resubmit it. BC customer service was already closed, so I called them first thing the next day. Spoke with a rep and explained the problem, he said that it was not a problem and he'd put it through. Charge went through shortly thereafter, and I was looking forward to getting my drone on Saturday. Then comes Thursday night, and I get an email saying that one or more of the items I'd ordered was on backorder, and that they would expedite shipping once it came in. Ok, it happens. I sent them an email asking what item(s) was backordered. I mean, if it was just the prop protectors or something, I'd prefer that they just sent the available stuff (mainly, the drone) and then the backordered item later. I also about them "expediting" shipping, and whether that meant that I would get a refund for the expedited shipping I'd already paid for. I also mentioned that their website still showed the items in stock. Got a reply (I think the next day) that said "Thanks for your patience." I checked the website again to see what the status of my order was. First of all, the website still showed the bundle as being in stock...including having a thing saying "Want it by [next business day]? Order in the next XXX hours and choose one-day shipping!" That irks me a little. Then, when I look up my order, it's there with the correct item, but both the billing and shipping addresses are blank. A little concerning to me. So I send off another email, asking about that as well as again telling them that the website showed everything in stock. Get a reply the next day which is talking about "pre-order items are generally returned to stock after 2-3 weeks", and explaining that sometimes shortages or delays in production can delay the arrival of your item, etc, etc. Yeah, I know what backordered means, and what does my order have to do with pre-orders returning to stock? Not to mention, they didn't even address my main concern, that the shipping address was blank on my order. Finally, on Monday or Tuesday, I'm able to get in touch with someone in customer service after waiting on hold for a while. He confirms that they have my correct address listed for the order, though it still didn't show on the website. I also mention that the website STILL shows the bundle as being in stock. He says he'll have to notify the marketing department, but it was on backorder and will ship ASAP. I decide at that point that I will give them until the end of the week, and if it hasn't shipped by then, I'll cancel the order. Thankfully, I get an email on Wednesday saying that my item had shipped, with a tracking number. It was shipped two-day, and arrived on Friday (9 days after my original order). Signature was required, so I anxiously awaited the Fed-Ex truck at home. When it pulls up, I meet the driver in the driveway. First thing I notice is that one corner of the outer box is torn along almost the entire length. Fed-Ex driver was cool with me checking the contents before I signed. Thankfully, everything was in there. I did realize that the reason they give you a separate camera bag/case for the controller was because the Pro+ controller (which has a built-in screen) will not fit in the backpack space designed for the controller without the screen. A few minutes of taking a razor blade to the styrofoam inside, and now my controller does fit. Drone works great, by the way. To sum it up... for product and price, I'd absolutely 5 stars. For customer service, I'd only give one (unless zero was possible). Read the reviews here and elsewhere, decide if they are who you want to buy from. EDIT: After writing the above review with three stars, I was contacted by a representative of BeachCamera (comment on the review), and they offered to refund my shipping cost. Returned it and never heard from them about it. Called them a few weeks later, they absolutely denied receiving shipment of it. Disputed with them through the BBB, still no resolve.
