Complete Fraud I purchased a Canon L series lens package, and they did ship the lens, only the accessories. However, they charged me for the lens. I confirmed with Fedex via weight, the lens was never in the box. They completely scammed me out of $1,699. Please be careful when you purchase something from this company online. read more

*UPDATE*- The manager called me and came up with various solutions to try and charge the batteries in the meantime until the shipment comes on Saturday. This is the service I was looking for initially. He then offered me a higher refund credit to make up for the price of a replacement battery. Thank you. He was very polite and understanding. NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER BUY FROM THEM! I will admit, when I first received my bundle package, I was amazed at everything that came with it, but I quickly realized that the batteries and charger or defective. I immediately reached out to customer support (not much support) about this issue because obviously if the charger won't charge the batteries then the camera won't work. Customer service said that they were going to send me a replacement battery and charger with expedited shipping. After two days and no replacement battery or charger, I called customer service and a gentleman on the phone told me that they sent it out the next day with regular shipping for delivery date of 7 days later! I was completely flabbergasted because I was lied to. I have not been able to use my camera since I received it which has been 2 weeks now. The gentleman on the phone was nice, and told me that he would expedite the shipping on the charger and the battery. I received a phone call today from that same gentleman and he told me that he couldn't expedite the shipping and that the best he can do is offer me a $20 credit if I find the charger and battery at a different store. A $20 credit on $50 batteries and $40 chargers?!?!?! This whole process has been UNACCEPTABLE. I am returning all of the items and I'm going to receive a full refund. So beware if you still buy from them, they might just repackage and send you my defective junk. I am also reporting them to the Better Business Bureau because this is not the way business should be handled and they are lying to people constantly. Do not buy from them EVER!! read more

I bought 2 Fitbits for my kids for Christmas. On Christmas morning, they decided that they no longer wanted a Fitbit. So on the day after Christmas, I contacted Beach Camera to process a return. They stated that it was outside the return window. I explain to them that was bought as a Christmas gift and most other retailers have extended return windows for that very reason. They said that they can only except a return if they charge me a 30% restocking fee. This is after I had contacted somebody on December 4 explaining my dilemma because I tried to return earlier in the month and they said it shouldn't be an issue. Their solution was for me to try to sell it on eBay or on another marketplace venue. I don't think that's very good customer service in my opinion. Everything is still in its original packaging and it's not like I waited for months after Christmas to try to return it. It's literally five or six days outside of the return window. I will never purchase anything from them again. It's the worst experience ever. read more

Ordered a camera bundle on Tuesday. Checked the status multiple times yesterday and it said processing. Get up this morning and checked the status and it says CANCELED???!!!!!! no message no explanation no nothing. If I hadn't been watching the order I would never have known the canceled the order and I would have missed out on buying the item from a reputable dealer unlike this company! read more

I bought a mirrorless camera through Beach (found a super deal via Amazon - PLEASE POTUS Trump, hands off our Amazon!) and couldn't be more delighted. A great bundle deal that I couldn't touch - as my Dad would sometimes say - "with a ten-foot pole". Beach sales reps? Clear communication, excellent follow-thru. Shipping was fast and product arrived without any problems. I'd deal again with Beach in a heartbeat but won't need a new camera for quite some time as my new Sony a6300 is DA BOMB! read more

Seller doesn't follow through with shipping company to get scheduling of delivery. (Large TV) Shipper just shows up to deliver without calling. No one was home for delivery. Sent back. Admits their fault, but is unwilling to refund until TV is returned to them. Terrible customer service. Ties up your money unnecessarily for weeks. read more

I ordered a TV through them and then a week later I found out they had dropped the price by 100. I called them back and they were happy to refund me the difference. The TV came double boxed through FedEx with no visible or functional damage. Sales rep Ray and customer service agent Janay I worked with were very kind and helpful. They have my business. read more

I have bought numerous items through Beach Camera and have always found their service to be great and the prices are unbeatable! On the rare occasion where I have made an error, and had to make a return, the staff was very helpful on the phone, and made the process easy and painless. Keep up the great work guys. read more

Ordered luggage from beachcamera on December 6 for a Christmas gift. They said it would arrive December 13 -20. I never received a tracking number. I asked about it and they said they were packaging the items and would send me the tracking number when available. Every 2 days I asked and got the same response. I now only get canned responses when I try to contact them via email. I finally got through on the phone and they said the item isn't available. Totally lied...totally screwed me! WE bought a Echelon exercise bike from WalMart.com and the order was filled through Beach Camera. The price was great and it advertised 1 year subscription. We got the bike unboxed and assembled it only to find out that WalMart had no idea about the subscription. When we contacted Beach Camera a gentleman offered us a $100 credit for the subscription (which didn't include the cycling program). We contacted WalMart again they passed our complaint to Beach Camera and I offered a solution of crediting the cost of 1 year subscription to Echelon ($480) they sent a copy of what they claim was an order invoice from WalMart which was different than mine. Which I sent to them for their review. I don't know who I'm more upset with WalMart for the Bait and Switch or Beach Camera for not understanding that they are not very good at customer service. I'm not done with this and I want them to make this right. If they don't then it's a bait and switch and a scam. read more

WOW, What a fly-by-night outfit. Stay clear of these people. What a dickin around they gave me. I ordered from them direct over the phone. The guy promised me that I would receive my item the next day or the following day. Every time I called to check on it, they gave be the same runaround. They said that their finance depart was checking to see if I have the amount of money available for them to get it. I understand that because it was over $2,000,00. I checked with my bank. They put a pending claim on the money right away, so it was available. Then a few days later, it was back in my account. I was like WTF, so I called again. Same thing, same BS story about waiting on the bank. Finally after 5 days of waiting and wondering, I canceled the order. I ordered it from Amazon and I had it in two days. STAY CLEAR MY FRIENDS. FYI they have at least one account on Ebay. I don't remember what name they use on there, but they are from Edison NJ. read more

Ordered a Sigma 30mm F1.4 E- mount for my Sony A6000, through walmart. Everything was well, besides the fact that the FedEx didn't require a signature and just left my $300+ lens out on my front door. Pretty content, will probably order from them again. I would give them 3 stars but they hooked it up with a free 64gb SD card so here you go beach camera, 4 stars! read more

I have ordered an Item on amazon through beach camera, got charged immediately, while shipment is in progress they recalled the item. In the whole process I didn't get any proactive communication on what's happening with my shipment. When i reached to them they said wrong item was send from what i have ordered, they are going to send correct one, waited for a while as there is no response from beach camera reached out to amazon. Amazon raised a claim with them - received an message that they are working to resolve the issue. One week gone no reply to me or Amazon. So amazon found that these guys are not legitimate, shipping information they provided was not legitimate. In the whole transaction i have lost very good deal with another vendor. So i wont recommend Beach camera. Very bad at customer service, communication and they are not legitimate. I never got the product and amazon from its end released a refund. read more

I found about them through Amazon. Although the sales person seemed to be very helpful, he was very dishonest.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Ordered a pricey camera online from them and there was nothing in the box. Called them and they told me they will check on it, called back 1 week later and they refused me a refund. Basically stole my money, not sure what to do. read more

Worst shipping policy in the history of shipping. These guys would rather ship a product out and have it returned, rather than to simply switch two incorrect numbers in a customer's shipping address. My package is literally a couple miles from me, but instead of remedy the situation Beach Camera would rather pay unnecessary return shipping and waste everyone's time. Nice policy. You won't be receiving a new order from me anytime soon. read more

Shady business practice - go with a better reputed online retailer instead! Their website had some DDR4 memory listed at $369. I put in an order and it was later cancelled. The reason given was it was out of stock, even though their website showed the item still in stock, only now at a higher price. Called and spoke with customer service and they gave an unconvincing half-hearted explanation that it was briefly out of stock and then they got some more and changed the pricing, all in the span of mere hours (yeah, right!). Then the CSR gave me the real reason: management cancelled the order because it was a price mistake. They made it sound like the price was outrageously erroneous when in fact a competitor had the item for not much more at the same period of time. Amazon, Newegg and the like usually honor their price mistakes, or at least tell you the truth from the start as to why your order was cancelled. Do yourself a favor and buy from a better reputed online retailer that will be honest with you at all times. read more

Just got off the phone with Customer service and can't believe the level of poor customer service I received. I would definitely recommend going to a retailer that you know has a good history of customer support because you never know when you will need to resolve an issue. I needed to 24" LCD monitors for my office as I am an essential worker and have to work practically around the clock. I found the product on the Walmart marketplace and paid just about 119 dollars for next day shipping. Three days out no product no information. My credit card has been charged. I'm disappointed, without further correspondence I will be pissed. I'd love to see this resolved. Between the fake reviews and the 1 Star reviews, seems unlikely. read more

Very Disappointing , Never Again How would you feel when someone ruined everything for you...? I felt same way when I didn't get my full order on my princess B'day. I didn't just place an order that was my daughter gift and only machine to capture beautiful memories of her B'day celebration. May be I shouldn't trust on Amazon and Beach Camera. - I placed order for camera bundle using prime membership but I got mirror less camera without lens. Isn't it ironic? What should I do with body without eyes? - I reached out to Amazon's third party (Beach Camera) and they told, Sir, due to high demand, Len is out of stock but we have delivered rest of your bundle. If they were not ready for bundle orders then how come bundle was showing available on Amazon portal while I was placing order? At least once order was placed they can notify for any delay or anything but I got that my order is on track and will be delivered on time. Isn't wrong information? Or cheating with customer. they shared false details over and call and told we can expedite your order and you will get our len on Monday morning for sure (though he didn't care that I have B'day celebration plan on Saturday and other things) but per tracking details i got yesterday says i will get my order on Thursday (in next 3 - 4) days that also I am not sure. In nutshell, I had very disappointing experience with amazon and its third party vendor.I trusted these guys for my precious gift but seems like that was my worst decision of life. I don't think i will shop again from this vendor, also will not suggest to my friends. read more

I was trying to patronize a local business. Upon entering the store on Rt 22 I realzed the place was filthy. There was food takeout containers everywhere and the place smelled moldy. Bought from them via Amazon. Insane! TV was defective (big white patch on the screen). They refused to return it because I didn't have the orginal packaging. This requirement was not made clear at purchase time. I offered what I thought was 2 perfectly good solutions: Send me a new TV and I will return the defective one in that box OR I would have the TV packaged and sent to them from Fed Ex. We went back and forth while they ignored both proposals completly and finally they basically, but politely, told me to suck it up and take my complaint to to Samsung. Am in separate discussions with both Amazon and Am Ex (thank goodness for Am Ex!) to resolve this. Amazon is working with some shoddy sellers these days. You do not want to have to deal with these guys if your item is not 100% right. read more

I came in here because I was in the market for buying a DSLR and since I have never purchased one before, I wanted to ask a couple questions. First of all, when we walk in, we stood by the counter for a really long time before being helped, even though there was someone sitting in the center island area just flipping though a magazine. Then when someone finally came over, it was like we were annoying him simply by being there. He had a "well, what?" attitude that was totally rude. He was very short and blunt with me and totally put me off to wanting to do any business there. So, we said thanks but no thanks and left. I got a much better price elsewhere anyway. read more

I will never make a purchase with this company again. I purchased an item through Amazon that was suppose to be delivered 2 days ago, after getting what amounts to a run around from Amazon (spoke with a rep via chat as well as a rep on the phone, both were wholly dismissive), I am still awaiting an answer. I received an email in which Amazon has requested Beach Camera provide me with a refund, but in their email reply they won't answer the simple question of, "when can I expect a refund?" Instead, I have a "tracking number", which makes no sense since the item was reported as lost in transit by UPS. I'm very frustrated and now must await a refund (timetable unknown) and/or file additional complaints with Amazon and wait before the money is returned and I can purchase the item with a different company. What a hassle. read more

I ordered a Ninja blender from this company through Amazon, but received a Ninja Coffee Bar a week later. When I asked them what they wanted me to do, they told me they had no record of sending me anything and that the blender was on backorder and would take 2-3 days. I told them that they did send me the coffee bar. A week later I received 4 water bottles that come with blender. I never did get the blender, it's been 3 weeks. Ordered an item online. It shipped. Tried to redirect it to the FedEx store and was told that Beach Camera restricted that and to contact them. I did so and was told they don't do that. Don't get anything through the mail from them for sure. Also makes me wonder what other shady practices are going on out there. read more

I wish there is zero star option. I purchased a TV from this seller, two weeks later the package was delivered to some wrong address, not even in the correct city. And then I contacted them to send me a replacement. They refused because the TV was out of stock. Two days later, the TV was back to stock, and I asked them to send a replacement again, they refused again. This time they said this is their policy: only refund and I can re-order. There was promotion when I placed the order, but they refused to honor the promotion when I tried to reorder. They left me no choice, only accepted their refund. Do you think it is the end? No way, two weeks later, I haven't got my money back. Haha, I will call my credit card company to dispute the transaction. Their customer service is the most useless one I have ever met. What they do actually is just repeat what I have already knew when I communicated with them by email. They can do nothing beyond that. What a rubbish seller!!! read more

Customer service sucks. I bought two laptops. Only one came with a battery. Customer service said they cannot send me a battery but acknowledges their fault. I was given one choice: return the laptop but pay for return shipping and I would lose the shipping charge it took for the laptop to get to my house. Good prices, yes. When you have to return - beware! Bought an Olympus camera and wife didn't like it's features once it arrived. Called them and they gave us a RAN number to place on the box. Returned it and never heard from them about it. Called them a few weeks later, they absolutely denied receiving shipment of it. Disputed with them through the BBB, still no resolve. BEWARE: rude, fraudulent and unprofessional seller. Worst online experience ever. They sold me an item that was not on stock, then lied pretending that I cancelled the order when they found out, recognized their mistake but did not offer any solution. On the contrary, they got back to me with late and with rudeness and an arrogant email. This company has cost me time, frustration, and effort and now you're filtering my original review, saying it's not trustworthy. This COMPANY is not trustworthy, and has sent my expensive electronics twice with NO padding in the box, and had to be returned since they could be damaged. I liked Beach Camera, but I've had to call them like 8 or 10 times, and now they're saying I have to wait LONGER, since they supposedly delivered it, but it's not here. Really bad experience. Had ordered a room heater on black friday, 2018. I think it was nov 27th or something. I had ordered it from walmart website where beach camera was selling a room heater for cheap..So i must confess that I took the bait and ordered. It was only one dollar or two lesser than amazon, still shouldn't have done it. So they told me the next day that the item was shipped. But it took almost a month to get to arizona from NJ. I was joking that I could even walk all the way to edison and be back with the heater in that time. And even worse was that I had given my work address for delivery which was inside the university. And it was shut down for christmas. Long story short by the time I got the heater in my hand on Jan 11th, winter in arizona was over. Not losing hope i went to return it on walmart and i was welcomed by a note which said: " since its sold by beach camera, no returns are allowed". I guess that's what the catch was for buying it on black friday. So much for a 60$ unopened packet sitting in my house for the next 10 months..smh.. read more
