I initially gave 1 star to Beach Camera for their customer service. However, after a thorough review of our conversation, Beach Camera fixed the problem and acted on my request. A problem could happen. But I appreciate Beach Camera's proactive response to satisfy the customer. Thanks for your response. read more

Hours listed as open at 9am. I went to their store-front in Edison at 10:50am and it was locked-down. So I called the number and was told that they open at 10:30 and I replied, "It's 10:50." So the lady on the phone said she'd call the warehouse and tell them to open. After 20 minutes, I called back and got a guy who said that they didn't have a store front and I replied, "I am standing in front of it. Big sign, says, "Service Department" and "Customer Service." He put me on hold to call the warehouse, came back and said they'd open around noon. So I left, very dissatisfied. Never going there again. read more

This was my first time dealing with Beach Camera, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I placed an order for a Sigma lens through The Exchange (AAFES) on September 30. Five days later, on Monday, the order was shipped--even though I had already canceled it through The Exchange. I contacted Beach Camera by phone and email to explain that the order had been canceled and to help ensure the item was returned to them. I did not receive a clear response or follow-up. I made the effort to notify them, but I did not feel that the same courtesy or concern for communication was extended to me as a customer. Based on my experience, communication was poor, and the situation was not handled in a customer-focused way. I would recommend considering Adorama or B&H Photo instead. I would not choose Beach Camera again. read more

Extremely disappointing experience with Beach Camera. I will never purchase from this company again. The television took over a week to arrive, and when it finally did, the shipping box was visibly damaged and the TV would not even power on. Beach Camera then asked whether I wanted a replacement television shipped or a refund. I clearly chose a refund. I was also told that my money would be refunded once the television was picked up. Instead, the entire return process became another ordeal. It took Beach Camera close to a week just to properly address my complaint and arrange for the television to be picked up. I was told the freight company would contact me that day to schedule the pickup, but several days passed with no call. I eventually had to contact Beach Camera again myself because no one from the freight company had reached out. The television was eventually picked up, and I sent Beach Camera confirmation of the pickup as instructed. Despite being told that my refund would be issued once the TV was picked up, I received essentially no response and no refund. I had to continue following up myself. Then, after the TV had already been picked up, Beach Camera changed what had previously been communicated to me. I received an email stating that my refund would not be issued until they physically received the television, inspected it, and then determined whether the return qualified for a refund. In my opinion, that response was extremely dismissive and disrespectful considering the circumstances. I did not change my mind about a purchase. I received a television that arrived in a damaged box and would not turn on. Beach Camera offered me a replacement or a refund, I chose the refund, and I followed every instruction they gave me for returning the damaged television. I should not now be dealing with changing explanations, weeks of delays, and uncertainty over whether I will receive my own money back. Any inspection of the television or claim involving the freight company is a matter Beach Camera should handle with its carrier. I should not be left without both the television and thousands of dollars while they work through their internal process, particularly after I was specifically told that my refund would be issued once the TV was picked up. The lack of urgency, poor communication, repeated delays, and changing information regarding my refund have made this one of the worst purchasing experiences I have had. It has now been weeks since this process began. I will never purchase from Beach Camera again, and if my full refund is not received promptly, I intend to speak with my attorney regarding what additional options may be available to me. read more

Usually I don't leave reviews, but I wanted to share my experience. I ordered a DJI Mavic 3S package that was supposed to include multiple batteries, a charger, and ND filters. The package itself arrived sealed and packed very well, and the drone and remote were both in perfect condition, so I honestly don't believe this was directly the company's fault. However, the order still arrived missing two batteries, the charger, and the ND filters that were supposed to be included. For a purchase at this price point, that's still pretty unacceptable. I returned the product and am requesting a full refund. I appreciate that the drone itself was fine, but the order should have been checked more carefully before shipment. read more

worst customer service ever... scammed me out of $4000. Took me hours and hours to get a refund that they refused to give me even though i never got the product and had to resort to doing a chargeback, which was awarded to me without contest because they were so scammy they didnt even question it. read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. I purchased a Sony a6700 camera through Amazon from Beach Camera on March 8. The package was delivered March 11, but when I picked it up it was a thin envelope the size of a sheet of printer paper. The envelope was completely sealed, but when I opened it there was no camera inside. It would have been impossible to fit a brand new Sony a6700 camera in its box inside that envelope anyways. The only thing in the package was a random plastic "Extended Warranty" card with a barcode to register it, no receipt, no paperwork, nothing else. For a high-value purchase like a camera, this is completely unacceptable. After looking through other reviews online from Reddit and other online review platforms, I noticed several people reporting similar issues or receiving completely different items than what they ordered. A majority of their "positive" reviews are most likely botted and paid for (unreliable and fake). I tried calling them and messaging them privately, to no response and no answer over the phone. Extremely suspicious and very disappointing experience. What a sick joke. I would strongly recommend staying away from Beach Camera. Straight up scammers. read more

I would not recommend Beach Camera. I purchased a TV through Amazon, and when it arrived, the box was labeled that the TV had a black line on the screen. After opening it, the TV had that exact issue, confirming it was the same item described on the box. I returned the TV in the original manufacturer packaging and the same box it arrived in. Beach Camera received the return but refused to issue my refund, claiming the serial number did not match the one they shipped. I returned the exact TV I received. I did not take photos of the serial number or shipping label because I had no reason to believe there would be an issue with a standard return. Beach Camera has refused to provide photos or documentation proving the discrepancy. After weeks of trying to resolve this, I am now having to escalate the issue. Be cautious and document everything if purchasing from this company. read more

I ordered a Garmin watch from Beach because it was one of the few companies that still offered that model. It was listed on their website as available and, once ordered, Beach sent a confirmation that it would arrive around June 24. I wrote them on the 25th just to make sure it had actually been shipped. Sure enough, the next email I get from them is a cancellation of my order. I'll not do any business with them in the future. read more

Recently stopped in, looking to buy a digital point and shoot camera, I did not think this was an unreasonable request. Crooks! Bought 6 TV's from their Amazon store, all Samsungs (over $5,000) One 42" came with a cracked corner, notified them with a picture immediately. $65 for me to ship it back to them. Location wise it was a little interior and almost looked like a warehouse . I was so happy to see a camera store locally in Edison NJ , and thought they will do camera repairs / sensor cleaning etc .. but they don't ! Not many companies around for sensor cleaning and wish beach camera had someone who could clean sensors . The location also had buydig - used devices . I actually liked some used electronic products and got some . Good price ! The guy was very helpful and helped with this purchase. They also had other electronic products apart from camera accessories.. lots of parking outside . Overall an average experience since I didn't get what I wanted . Will surely go back .. 3 stars read more

Since my first review I have now received an email, letting me know my refund is on the way. Communication is still an issue with the company, but, they are handling the issue. Slimey scamming company. Ordered a soundbar off Amazon that we could not wall mount due to how our wall was laid out. Returned this item 1 month ago after arguing that I want a return not a discount and have been getting the run around since. I did some digging and found out the item I dropped off in its original box to UPS was delivered to their facility in NJ and they claim the box is empty and no refund will be issued. WTF?! Now I look and see all the same terrible reviews.. How these people are even allowed to operate on a platform like Amazon is beyond me!! read more

This is NOT a company you should buy anything from especially a large screen tv. Their service is non existent and all bot driven auto responders from the low grade logistics co they use. EDIT: Turns out I was talking to AI for 3 weeks. After seeing this review, the merchant reached out and I was able to return the TV and get a refund successfully. So if you have issues, call them instead of emailing! I bought a Samsung TV through them, it was missing the HDMI port, no reply for 3 weeks for a return. I had to start a dispute to get them to respond, then they told me to pay return shipping for their defective unit? What retailer does that? If you send me a defective product, you pay shipping to get it back. Simple. These people a aren't retailers or businesspeople, they're scammers, through and through. read more

Horrible company! Scammers. Bought a GE microwave and it came missing the plastic piece that spins the plate. I purchased the oven through Amazon so I started with asking for a new part, days later I was told they're looking into. Long story short, this went on over a week so I decided to just return the oven. The return process went the same way, days went by where they'd say they hadn't received the oven yet and to give it a few days. Few days later they were still saying wait more time blah blah blah. I finally called Amazon and they told me they would refund me my money. Never got anywhere with Beach Camera. Amazon refunded my money. Stay away from this company! read more

Wow, I have just wrapped up a horrific experience with this company. My advice to potential buyers is "Run as fast as you can away from this company". They cheat, they lie and they deceive. I returned a TV to them on Sept 26, 2025. They refused to give me my money back and simply made excuses for more than 2 weeks. In the end they tried to say that the set was damaged in shipping, though they provided no evidence. The TV was in perfect condition when I shipped it. Given my discussions with this company, it would not surprise me if someone in their organization sabotaged the set, but I have no proof since I wasn't there on the loading dock. Just my feeling based on dealings with the company. Very BAD people! Sometimes you just get a gut feeling, right? I wish I would have read online reviews before I bought the set. Also should have looked at the 36 complaints at the BBB in NJ. Luckily, Amazon stepped in and made me whole - providing a full refund. read more

Beware of purchasing from this company as they will post a bundle photo on Amazon only to bait you and then only ships out partial order. We purchased a DJI Neo bundle and only recieved part of the order. After lengthy attemps to make it right by emailing and calling direct, we were brushed off and told management would investigate it. Recieved an email from Charlie on 12/26/24 apologizing for the missing items saying they would be shipped and an email from Dianne on Jan 6 2025 saying the order was created and she was waiting on the tracking number to send it to us. Called today Jan 9, only to be blown off again by another representative named Judy, who proceeded again to say "Charlie is busy so I gave this to management" and we will get back to you. Honestly if I ran my business like this, I would be out of business already. Between Charlie, Romel, Dianne and Judy, customer service was aweful and basically our concerns for items shorted in our order where ignored. We gave you a chance to make our order right, your team failed and our experience was very poor. read more

If it was possible to give NEGATIVE stars I would. I got a TV from them on Amazon and it came in damaged. I got in touch with Amazon and they put me in touch with the seller. They were taking their time getting back with me so I left a bad review on Amazon. Almost immediately I get a txt from this Charlie saying he processed my replacement and gave me one of their order numbers. He also asked me to take down the bad review and he would send $25. Being naive I believed him, then he ghosted me. I wouldn't do business with this shady business again if they were last place on the planet read more

Had the binoculars I purchased throughAmazon worked for me, I'd rate Beach Camera a comfortable 4 stars. The customer service is despicable. The IPD on the Nikon Trailblazers did not work for my very narrow face. Beach Camera asked if I'd keep them if they discounted the price. A less expensive pair was not going to fix the fact binocs did not fit my IPD. I said no thanks. I made arrangements to return them and did so correctly. 5 weeks after the return and refund, Beach Camera claims the binocs returned were not those they sent. They claim the serial numbers do not match and they weren't returned in original packaging (untrue, it was the exact same box they arrived in). Serial number issues aren't my problem, the company owns that. What, I'd go buy the exact same item somewhere else and then intentionally sent a bogus pair? Really? Why? Makes zero sense. My 69 year old self decided criminal activities were going to be my new thing as a shut in who just wants see the birds well so I decided to learn how to change a serial number? Stupid! To clarify, Beach Camera has possession of the binoculars. They most recently told me to send prepaid packaging so they could send the binocs to me and they plan to charge again. I did check into claims like this and it usually has to do with the inability of the company to square their inventory with their vendors or they're attempting to scam on small items hoping people don't fight them on it so they can get away with a few more $$$. So, in a nutshell, I DO NOT recommend Beach Camera. Go somewhere else. Better yet, find a local store and purchase in person. read more

I had a terrible experience with Beach Camera and would strongly advise others to avoid them. I ordered a monitor from their website (Order #BC100036880). The package was supposedly delivered by Amazon Logistics, but the GPS tracking clearly showed it went to a different house. I never received it. I contacted Beach Camera and provided proof, including the GPS screenshot on the tracking page showing it was left at the wrong location. Instead of helping, they completely deferred responsibility to Amazon, claiming the delivery was "close enough" and that they couldn't do anything--even though it was their responsibility to ensure the package was delivered to the correct address. They made no real effort to make it right. Their customer service team acknowledged the issue but told me to file a dispute with my credit card company rather than issue a refund. A real business stands behind their shipments. Beach Camera just passed the blame and left me to clean up the mess. Very disappointing and unprofessional. read more

I bought the item and the credit card was charged. I then learned when trying to find out about delivery since no updates received that oops it was out of stock. I had to write in to question what was up because it showed getting ready for shipment for days. No one even contacted me to say was out of stock and not shipped. They can not tell me when it will be in stock. It has been two days now to tell me that. In last letter i asked who charges the card when out of stock and can not ship. I do not know anyone who does that. If they can not get it out the door they need to refund the charge plus a credit for lousy service. This is very bad. If it is now in stock no one has told me. Then ship next day your cost and get it to me. It is getting ridiculous now. Definitely 0 stars . a company needs to be up front and honest and get to customer right away good or bad. read more

Please consider the information below before purchasing from this vendor... Their online reviews are manipulated to remove damaging reviews in exchange for money. I ordered through Amazon a Ninja CFP307 DualBrew Pro coffee maker, but received a CFP301. The Permanent Filter Basket ($25.18 including tax & S/H) was missing. Also, the Removable Brew Basket (another $25.18 including tax & S/H) was slightly broken, though that may have happened during transit, not sure. I attempted unsuccessfully to superglue the broken part together, so I had to replace it. I also purchased a replacement permanent filter basket. I contacted the seller about these issues and was offered a $50+tax refund, which I accepted. However, before the refund was processed, I was contacted by a representative of Beach Camera named Charlie S via phone. I didn't answer the unrecognized number, so he left a voicemail suggesting I call him back on a different number, which I did later that same day. I got a recorded greeting asking me to text him with my name and the Amazon Order #, which I did. I also gave a summary of the issue and the current status, indicating I was content with the refund offered and would consider the matter closed once that was received... But Charlie had a different motive. He asked me if I would remove my Amazon review in exchange for a full refund of the purchase price. I was disgusted & offended at this and made it known to him. He tried to rephrase his offer and insisted that wasn't what he meant, but I called him on his bullshit because that's exactly what he meant and was trying to do. Read the attached screenshots of the entire conversation and decide for yourself. I advised him that I would be notifying Amazon of this violation of their policies and that if it were possible to update my review on Amazon, I certainly would do so, but not in the way he wanted. Sadly, there is no way to update an Amazon review, only to delete it, and once it's deleted, you cannot add another seller review for the same transaction. Here's the exact phrasing of the policy displayed on the review delete confirmation dialog: "Please note: If you remove your feedback, you will not be able to submit any other feedback related to this order. In addition, your current rating and comments will no longer be included in the seller's feedback history or visible to other customers." So, I will be adding my updated seller review on other platforms, including this one. read more

I purchased a 'renewed' DJI FPV drone from Beach Camera via Amazon. Upon receipt, the DJI Goggles' battery was not functional, so I initiated a return. The return request was approved, so I packaged the equipment I received and shipped it back. They are now claiming that the equipment that I returned does not match their inventory, despite being the same equipment that they shipped me. They're only giving me the option to pay for a shipping label to ship the equipment back to me. I received a product in defective condition, attempted to return it, and they are claiming that it's not the equipment they shipped me. Update: Beach Camera replies to my reviews with their generic response on all review sites, advising me to reach out to the nclaudio email. I've done so on 3 separate occasions and have received no response. They've had my return since it was delivered to them by UPS on April 1. It is now May 4th. In the past month, I have called Beach Camera directly numerous times and have been told each time that a representative/manager would reach out. I have not heard a word. This company is running a scam on Amazon for HP printers. Don't buy from them. It's a complete bait and switch.

The purchase was flawless. While I missed a quick discount on the price, I managed to get in on another, Not as great, but nice to have. Now I am getting used to my new digital version of the Canon Rebel. But, and you know there has to be one, while the customer support was helpful (and could have been better), they directed me to call to directly make my purchase. Call after call was met with 'There is no agent to help you now. Please call back later.' Not a wait/hold line and each call was met with the same thing, and hang up. What was I seeking? Info on an extended warranty purchase. I expected one to pop up during my purchase. I did, after the sale, get a email about such a service with a limited time buy (it SHOULD be a 30 day chance to purchase people) but I had planned on it anyways. read more
