Updating my prior review - Charlie from Beach Camera reached out to discuss the issues pertaining to the order, understand where things went wrong, and was sincerely apologetic. He explained why some of the missteps happened and how he intended on rectifying those issues within the business. Finally, he confirmed that he would ensure a refund would be issued, which it was this week. To summarize, I'd gotten a 75" smart tv for my parents as a Christmas present and within the nearly 2 months leading to current, the TV arrived damaged, we had issues getting in contact with their customer service reps (asking to have pics sent multiple times, delays in calling the trucking company to retrieve the TV and provide the document required for the pick up) and calling Walmart (who we purchased the TV from, with Beach Camera as the 3rd party) to intervene in getting a refund as we were getting tired of the back and forth. read more

Update: My credit card company issued me my money back after they found Beach Cameras claims to be fraudulent. Beach Camera who is in New Jersey, finally contacted me 3 weeks later, about two hours after I tweeted the New Jersey State Police about the fraud that this company is all to willing to engage in. I got a call from Beach Camera saying that I was being issued a full refund for my missing drone. According to them they looked on their video cameras and saw my drone was never sent. This is bullshit because when I reported it missing and asked them to check their cameras they said that they don't have cameras in their shipping department. Best advice- DONT BUY FROM BEACH CAMERA! Basically, they lie about same day shipping. Amazon contacted them on my behalf and Beach Camera texted me today ensuring me that they were sorry and would send out a new drone today (Dec4th) by Overnight shipping. That was around 8:30 this morning. Today around 3pm I texted them to see how the order was coming. They responded saying they sent out the drone via Overnight shipping. Placed an order for two monitors online. I had to call to check on the order as I received only the email that contained a confirmation of the order. They said they were shipping. A few days later, I received a shipping email for just one monitor. After tracking my shipment across the country, I received an email from PayPal for a total refund for both monitors. This gets them the one star. So I called and they said the order was canceled and had been refunded. I mentioned the shipment was on its way and they said nothing had been sent. This morning I got an email from FedEx saying the shipment with the one monitor was recalled. This is no way to run a business. I called BEACHCAMERA.COM and they said no problem and emailed me the information to mail it back...mail it back is what their email stated, and DID NOT include or mention a shipping label. Nor did the email offer the Return Authorization Number, they gave me that on the phone. $31 to mail it was the cheapest at the post office. THEY REFUSE TO REFUND SHIPPING COST OR GIVE A STORE CREDIT. Their Logic is I should have known they didnt send me a shipping label or mention it in their email and called them again. I offered to forward the email they sent with instructions that has no label or mention of one, yet directs me to mail it back. They just keep saying we dont refund shipping costs. THEY SELL ON EBAY, AMAZON, AND AT WALMART.COM HEY, I HAVE AN UPDATE THE NEXT DAY. Beachcamera.com has seen the error of their email and offered a $25 store credit coupon number. Since they owe me $31, I will take the compromise...only to find out there is nowhere on their site to use a coupon code during checkout. Final Update: Beachcamera.com came through with their $25 coupon and I have received the item i purchased with it. It is a shame this location has so many bad reviews because of their online presence. The store experience is certainly not reflective of what is written about that online experience. I bought a camera from them years ago at their Rte 22 store. I found the staff to be professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. That location closed, and they moved to the industrial area of Edison. The store is currently a work in progress regarding the items displayed in the front, but they have an incredible selection in their warehouse. I called asking if they had a camera I was looking for, and a customer service rep told me it was in stock at the store. I took the trip over, they brought it out, let me look at it, and answered all my questions. I found the service to be exactly as I experienced at the Rte 22 store years before, friendly, professional, and knowledgable. They gave me incredible prices that allowed me to get some extra accessories. You go to a lot of the big retail stores, and half the staff is there for a paycheck and could care less if you buy from them or not. This is a small business that wants you to buy from them. They aren't pushy, they are just willing to help you, and when you decide what you want, they work with you on price to make it a no brainer to buy it from them. I will without a doubt be back, not just for camera equipment, but for pretty much any electronic that I'm looking for. The tip I give you is, go to their website, find the item you are looking for, call the phone number and confirm they have it. Go to the store to check it out, and pick it up.
