I understand they have their appointment system, but I just wish the whole situation had been handled a little more nicely. Even if they couldn't take us early or help with both issues, a friendlier response would have made a difference.

No cable managements, heatsink wasn't installed, GPU sustainment and support weren't installed so the GPU was just hanging by one beam, Kept telling me that their technician must have forgotten it, and if I come back the following day everything should be done. When I visited the next day, the heat sink literally fall off as I opened up the pc right in front of them. At that point I was just done with everything, paid the full price(funny enough, custom build for SFF is "supposed to be more expensive" but I guess they charged me the $150 instead) and left. I had a really nice experience with linx8 2 years ago, with their customer service and pc support until this time, hopefully it won't happen again.

If I could give this horrific Nightmare of a business a negative number I certainly would. I ordered a 70 inch Samsung Smart Tv from them to be delivered to my vacation on in Palm Springs CA. n delivery the box appeared to be in good condition and Beach camera used a shipping service out of LA. Well the box sat about 10 days until Direct Tv could come in and run 4K wiring and few more days until Best Buys geek Squard could install it. Being the awkward size of the television and the face that I am Disabled I needed it professionally installed and hung on my wall. Upon opening the television and Best buy installing it and Direct tv connecting it there was a huge problem. The left trim piece of the front of the televisIon was defective and there is a blinding light down the entire right side of this unit. After numerous times trying to contact Beachcamera.com, seeing how the keep such odd hours, i got a manager. A manager who doesn't care, and certainly not about my health problems and expenses i endured to install their defective Samsung 4K television. The manager requested remove it form the wall ( again I'm 53 and disabled, and paid 2 companies 400$ plus to install an $1800 television) and box it up so as his "Shipper" could pick it up. That was the last time I heard from the incompetent twit. I Immediately put a stop pavement on my BOA credit card Because all the manager was willing to do was have me spend more money having professionals to handle their defective unit, box it up and have his shipper pick it up, he was tp call me back and never did, even though i left him about 25 messages. THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAM artists. Since there was no damage to the box and apparently because I didn't have it connected to DIRECTV at the time of delivery and it sat in the box until my home was property wired and I could shed the professional install, it was my fault for not keeping his shipping agent here while this all happened, all at my cost. I'm not at about $3000 in expenses for Beach Camera's broken defective Samsung product that sit black on wall like a black hole as its unbearable to watch. So Beach Cameras management nor customer service ever reached out to me again. 2 weeks later I got a call from the shipping agent to pick up the television, with no work from the retailer and no replacement. these people are horrific to deal with on a professional level. They are complete scam scam scam artists, buyers beware. As a restaurant owner I'm in shock and awe. Ive never in my life been treated how these people have treated me. If anyone is interested in a class action lawsuit as I have retained a powerful attorney firm out of LA CA, please contact me, Im not going to stop until I I have these assholes retail resale license. Ordered a TV from this place on December 15th. Deal was same day, two day shipping. TV was to b xmas gift for my daughter who was leaving to Texas to make her home there, and she was leaving Thursday morning, the 19th. Well, tv didn't arrive as promised, so I contacted Amazon which basically told me I was screwed because the seller was third party, even though I bought it on Amazon, thru BEACH CAMERA. I had tracking number thru fed ex, and that stated that it had bn shipped on. Monday the 16th. So I contact fed ex on Thursday the 19th, and they say they haven't received the item yet from seller, even though they stated it had been shipped on the tracking number. So in then contacted beach camera customer service(Josh was his name) and he proceeded to tell me that it was all problems from fed ex, and that their drivers were failing to update status on items shipped. He took my phone number down and said he would investigate and let me know what was up. So he calls back later in the day, only to tell me that there was a "mix up" in their warehouse and that my daughter's xmas gift was still in their warehouse. He then said he would help me out by shipping it to me, OVERNIGHT, and mind you, this conversation is on thursday the 19th, and that in would have it on Monday, the 23rd. WHAT???? First and foremost, my xmas was totally ruined, as I couldn't give my daughter her gift, and don't know when I will c her again, and I can't afford to send the tv to her in Texas. I picked the tv to buy from this place beach camera, because it said they could get it to me in two days. I can c if it were a day late, however, when it hasn't even shipped out from seller, even though it telling me that it had shipped already, that is just downright b.s. then, as if a person deserves to be kicked when they are down, Josh, from Beach Camera, says he is doing me a "favor" by telling me it will be shipped overnight, which should mean it would be here on Friday the 20th of December, but that in should receive it on Monday the 23rd of December.???.? Geez, wow, one hell of a nice favor. B.S. A person would think they would get some kind of discount off final price after all this, basically lying and blaming, and not taking accountability for their own mistakes. What I know is that in my 48 years of living on this planet, this has turned out to be the worst xmas I have had. In conclusion, my advice to others is to not do business with Beach Camera, fed ex, and Amazon. Also, all 3 of these so called companies should be ashamed for themselves. I thought I should share my experience here. I generally like Beachcamera since I don't get taxed being a New Yorker and their price is competitive. Here is my situation. I ordered and received the Sigma 18-35 f1.8 for Nikon "Certified Refurbished" from you guys through Amazon. The warranty description was all over the place and not making any sense. According to the warranty description, my lens was refurbished by Sigma and it has a 90 days warranty. If you read the description further, it said something about having a full USA warranty of 4 years. Anyway, I received the lens 2 days ago (like new and even with the US warranty card). I thought my lens has a 90 day warranty from Sigma. I emailed Sigma and gave them the lens serial number to verify my warranty status. They said the lens was not refurbished by them. So, no warranty. At the same time, I emailed Beachcamera. They said my lens was refurbished by Sigma and Sigma would handle my warranty claim...which is not true. I told Beachcamera about my contact with Sigma and have yet received their reply. I then had a chat with Amazon. Basically, they are telling me that, since neither Sigma or Beachcamera is claiming to have refurbished this lens, I would only have a 30 days return/exchange period from Amazon. To make things even more confusing, my receipt didn't record the serial number of the lens at all. Luckily, according to Amazon, they would refund me if my lens is returned regardless if Beachcamera can not keep track on how or what is being returned to them. Luckily, this copy of the Sigma 18-35 is so well behaved with the AF performance and accuracy, I am deciding to keep it. Normally, I would be extremely upset that I am paying for a lens with a false warranty claim information. Yes, I would still to have a guarantee that this lens has a 90 days warranty. Unfortunately, neither Sigma or Beachcamera is claiming to have refurbished this lens. read more

I bought a high-end LG OLED C8 77 TV from Beach Camera on September 16, 2018 via Greentoe.com. Got a great great great price that I was not able to find anywhere. Being online, no tax either. Just a super duper deal. However, there were delays in shipping and delivery company was just terrible. But once I reported delivery issues to Greentoe which immediately reported got Beach Camera involved, I was quickly contacted by BC customer service manager (I think her name was Nancy). She took care of the issue and was kind enough to give me $200 credit on the price of TV for delivery company's issues. I was not in a hurry so it didnt matter to me when delivery came just as long as the delivery people didnt break the TV. I would give full marks to Beach Camera for just great price and then their prompt and thoroughly professional customer service. Zero marks, or rather negative marks to delivery company in Miami (they are horrible). I would add that I was so happy with the BC price and customer service that I bought a 2018 LG Sk10Y soundbar from Beach Camera (again via Greentoe.com). Again, great price and absolutely no shipping issues this time. Just to give perspective, the older model of LG Soundbar was selling for higher price at Costco than what I paid for brand new 2018 model at BC (via Greentoe.com). Cant beat BC price (if purchased via Greentoe.com) I would highly recommend Beach Camera, and Greentoe.com to everyone. Just be patient with shipping and delivery, you will save a bundle of money. I dont work for BC or Greentoe.com. I am just a ordinary person. People write all kind of nasty stuff on net but not enough people write good experiences so I thought I take time to acknowledge good people at BC and Greentoe. Keep up the good work. read more

My experience with Beach Camera did not start in the best way, I bought a TASCAM recording kit, but there was an error in the address that I corrected immediately, even though they said they would send the equipment even if no one receives it and gets damaged. Another purchase was entered with the correct address and if it arrived in the agreed time, but did not arrive all the parts, it was missing a sony microphone. The amazon team after a weeks of phone calls and emails managed to make the first TASCAM kit was forwarded to the correct address to make the forwarding, they did the forwarding but, to the wrong address again !!!. Amazon was with those beach camera mistakes and I completely reimbursed the money. Thanks to amazon. Making another purchase I noticed that the item was sold by Beach Camera, but before buying, I asked to be replaced by the microphone that never arrived. In effect, they sent the microphone without any cost, to the wrong address again !!!. I decided to buy the item at another store and stop buying at Beach Camera, then I got the call from another person from Beach Camera, Lindsay Lopez, was the only person who understood everything that happened after I put 1 star on their Amazon reputation . And thanks to the amazon team again, they sent the microphone in the right direction, then Lindsay, knowing what happened, reviewed the whole process and managed to reeembolse 25 dollars for all the problems occurred. A good way of doing business. There should not be such problems, but if there are, it is good policy to reimburse the client those Beach Camera errors. So far so good, but it's only been 3 days for this new LG OLED TV. Ordered this through Greentoe to get a good price and I did, but I never would have purchased it if Greentoe provided the seller's name first. I have nothing against Beach Camera as I've never purchased anything from them before, but I live in Oregon and this was shipped from New Jersey which was of grave concern for a week of shipping. This TV has been in more cities than I have. I was all prepared to not accept delivery if the package was damaged and there indeed was a large fist size hole on one side. I put my hand in it and found an inner box that seemed untouched, so I accepted it. Upon removing it from intense packaging, I nearly stopped as all the styrofoam was broken up on one side, but I couldn't find any damage, so I continued. Man, these things are a lot of work to set up from beginning to end. The product is so far excellent, the shipping was long going across the entire country, but Beach Camera shipped it immediately, the packaging was sturdy enough to handle some misfortune and unlike another I could have bought this from for the same price, they were able to give me an exact delivery date and it came on that day! Hope some problem doesn't come back to haunt me from the trip. I've never owned anything by Sony's and Samsung's and have never had anything ever go wrong with any of them. I hope this lifelong trend continues with this LG beauty. I'd buy from them again, but maybe not something as delicate as this unless I return to where I was born and raised, NJ! My girlfriend ordered Beyer Dynamic DT 990 Pro headphones from Beach Camera ( link to listing here: http://a.co/09j0AHj ) through Amazon for my birthday. The day after the order shipped she received a $45 refund, I had a feeling of what was to come. So a few days later the package arrived. I went to pick it up and immediately I knew it was too light to contain the amp. Open the package and surprise surprise, no amp. The amp cost $60 on Amazon but they refunded $45. This is classic bait and switch. They waited until the package shipped to issue the refund. When she went to order initially the listing said out of stock, but we checked back a few hours later and it was in stock again. Well immediately after she ordered it, of course was listed as out of stock again. Except a few hours later it was listed as in stock again. As of writing this IT IS STILL LISTED AS IN STOCK. But when I called they said they didn't have that amplifier. This is a scam, period. I reported them to the FTC and FBI. They ship a much cheaper item than what you ordered, deny it, and then refuse to cooperate as long as possible. Some people give up and they keep the money. They do it all the time and give everyone the same excuses. Just read other reviews. Check BBB. They tried to steal about $1700 from me. They shipped a $200 projector that had been VERY carefully repackaged as a $1700 one. Sound familiar? They blamed me, they blamed FedEx. They pretended it never happens. They had no comment about ALL the other IDENTICAL complaints about them online. I returned their cheap projector and they still refused to refund me. Then they told me I was forbidden to contact them anymore except through Amazon. Then I started writing reviews. Then the customer service manager "Charlie" started TEXTING me at night (even after telling me we could only talk through Amazon). They FINALLY refunded me after I made a LOT of noise. Stay clear of this store..They are terrible ....Alot of there stuff is refurbished and they take the stickers off of the stuff to pretend its new...DO NOT BUY,,,trust me...I bought a 60 inch plasma,,it broke 2 months after the warranty expired....So I sent it to a repair shop down the block...So when I walk in the door the guy I have been doing business with for 10 yrs says nice TV,,,but why would you buy a refurb??I said how do you know that he said there is a little sticker mark by the serial # that was taken off...Taken off!!He said yes here it is and then he proceded to open the panel and show me the refurb stamp on the inside of the tv..I was insane pissed ...He asked me where I purchased this from and when I told him ,,,he said never go there,,,I have tons of customers that complain about them...He said go anywhere else,,pay a few bucks more and get great customer service and new stuff....NEVER EVER goto this place ,,if u do u will get garbage...13 months my TV only lasted... read more

I've ordered several camera bodies, and lenses from Beach, and have always been completely satisfied with the ease of ordering, speed of delivery, and on occasion simplicity of return. Beach has the most generous return period (45 days) of the major online photo specialty sites, which has given me time to check the functions of the cameras, and decide whether the body or lens provides the expected results. It also provides a reasonable amount of time for any operational defect to manifest itself. Beach's Customer Service representatives have also cancelled two orders, one of which was my mistake, and the other when the item would not be delivered before personal travel would prevent my being able to accept/sign for the parcel. Hard to believe the negative reviews after my own exceptional experiences with Beach, and I wouldn't hesitate to refer friends, and family! read more

I am giving this company only a 3-star because of how long it took for them to resolve an issue that occurred with my order. The agent that worked with me was very very good and polite. This person was very patient and I appreciate all the hard work that was put into resolving the issue. I just have to keep the 3-star because it took nearly a month for the issue to be fixed...and it was not really a hard problem to deal with. I will still very much recommend Beach Camera to friends and family and will most likely still use this company for my photography needs. It is just a shame for the time it took to resolve the problem that occurred. That is the only thing I see that needs a little work on concerning this company. Can someone get Nancy a raise please?? So I've been in constant contact with this company for about 2 weeks to get an issue rectified. I spoke to a few customer service representative, and I was getting nowhere. I started getting a bit frustrated because I had to keep making overseas calls every few days to see how if I can get my matter resolved (I'm not a US citizen) So I ended calling yesterday 01/02/2021 and I was ready to explode if there was not any progress in getting my matter resolved. I was connected to Nancy M. and she was so understanding and helpful that I even forgot that I was mad. This is the second time I have done business with Beach Camera and the second time I have reviewed the company for having incredible customer service. Josh was amazing, sold and delivered the video cam at the best price and speedy delivery. So polite and obviously committed to the company and their customers. Unfortunately I had to return the camera and I dreaded having to call back to arrange the return. I had nothing to worry about. I should have known that the company was still superior. I spoke with an amazing representative who solved my problem. Thank you Kathy! You are polite and professional and could not have been more accommodating or kind. I recently purchased a drone from this company through the Walmart website. It arrived incomplete and had no instructions with it. When I called customer service not only were they rude but it sounded like I was calling another country and was just put on hold for hours. I tried to call Walmart they informed me that I couldn't return it there , and said I must return it back to beach camera only, and that Walmart was only they middle man in this purchase. At this point I'm not expecting to get any results seeing how Walmart or beach camera don't want to take responsibility. I would like to let everybody know that this has not been a good experience and I recommend you to stay away from scams like this. I wrote a previous scathing review where I had a very bad experience. I am modifying my review based upon Beach Camera's response to my issues. When I first received a damaged 86" TV, the Customer Care representative was rather rude and unhelpful. I asked that she have her supervisor contact me which he did. He took ownership of the situation and shipped me another TV. Unfortunately, that TV also had a shattered screen. I called him back right away, and he arranged for another TV to be shipped. While it ended up taking me 3 weeks to get the TV for our conference room, I applaud Beach Camera for resolving the issue. More likely than not, the problem may not have been caused by Beach Camera, but they owned the resolution. For that, I would buy from them again. read more

Surprised at the negative reviews I'm seeing for Buydig.com, so I thought I'd offer a contrasting viewpoint. I've purchased a few things from them in the past year and have never had an issue. Products shipped quick and were 100% as described; no issues whatsoever. Their social media group is amazing and friendly. I often join their Wednesday and Friday live streams, and Adam is a hoot! I've even won some nice prizes during their giveaways on these streams. If you ever have a problem with an order, be sure to message them on social media and I'm 100% sure they'll rapidly take care of any issues you might have. After two failed attempts at getting my Canon ELPH 360 HS camera from a third party service, I found what I wanted through them and went straight to their source. No middle men. The camera came in only two days and had a lot of accessories to get me started. The price was the best found for such a bundle. Their customer service was very friendly, knowledgeable and made the process easy and quickly. Christmas is coming soon kids. I would highly recommend just taking a peak at their website. I ordered a Canon Pixma MX492 Wireless Office Color Printer. Somehow I accidentally made a mistake and ended up with 2 of them. It was totally my fault - don't know what I did wrong. I just about made myself sick from worry. When you live on a limited income - you just can't make mistakes. I called and spoke with Kathy. What a kind and wonderful employee you have in Kathy. The estimate was 380 if they are able to fix it and if they fail they charge a trial fee of 30 dollars. Sent them funds via paypal. The whole process took within 7 days and I was amazed how the camera was functioning again at 120%. They also sent me back sample/test photos that they took with my repaired camera. Highly recommend them. I definitely think the prices are fair due to the fact that they're one of the few places on the planet that service this camera. Also needed a spare battery cap for my t3 and they had some in stock for 50 bucks. The only cap I found was on ebay and it was 250 bucks. Thank you Nippon!!

If you don't want to be charged extra and ripped off more, take off your lens, straps, etc before you drop off, although from the way they handled my situation, I wouldn't recommend using them.

I still find the Westcott FJ80 Flash one of the easiest flashes on the market to use. The touchscreen is a game chabger. This is the second one I have. It has the ability to update, so is things change in cameras and new models come out, Westcott updates the flash for a compatibility. That's pretty cool. The other big draw to this camera is it's a multi camera flash. It can be used on every camera. So if I'm shooting with a friend that has a Nikon and I have a Canon, My friend can use my flash if he doesn't have one already. I hope to get a FJ400 full location kit from Focus when I can afford it!!!

I was in the store today, and a rare, vintage Marantz 250 stereo power amp and a pre-owned Ampeg 4x12 bass guitar cabinet caught my eye. It's fun just to walk around and look this at stuff, even if you have no use for it. In fact, part of the shop is a museum of really old stuff that they rent out as movie props. The guys who work here are super-friendly, and will shoot the breeze with you, even if you don't buy anything. As with many things, you get what you pay for. PRINTS Do you want cheap photo prints ready in an hour that you print from your phone but are of mediocre quality and might get cropped funny? Or do you want high-quality photos printed in about a day that will last for years? I chose to get my photos printed at NY Camera. You email them the photo and they let you know when it'll be ready. Because digital cameras take pictures at different ratios than frames, I had kind of a funky situation. I proposed a solution (e.g., print with white space on top). NY Camera did that. AND they also printed two other possible options, one of which was WAY better than what I proposed. I chose their option, and they only charged me for the one print. FRAMES Do you want a cheap frame that gets shipped to your house overnight but that you have to assemble yourself and look okay but not great? Or do you want a nice frame that works with your picture? I got my frames at NY Camera. Not only did I get the right size, but they also provided input on the best color to enhance the picture. AND THEN: The owner opened the frame box, checked that the picture would fit, trimmed it carefully until it would, obsessively cleaned the glass of the frame until there wasn't a speck of dust or fingerprint in sight, and then put it all together for me. CAMERAS Look, I love online reviews. I love tech blogs. But sometimes you need a real human. While picking up other stuff, I've heard the staff engage in depth with customers about the merits of one camera over another, used versus new, benefits, drawbacks, etc. They know their stuff. And not just their new stuff. My dad has a camera from 1950 that he loves. They lovingly provide the tune-ups it needs to stay in shape. I live out of town, but whenever I'm back and need something, I'll come back here.
