BUYER BEWARE Paid them $1723 on Monday 4/4/2020 for a DJI UVA. Free 2 day shipping was included. Started checking on status Wednesday 4/6/2020 after not receiving shipment tracking information. Every day status is "processing". Finally called Monday 4/13/2020 and was told it would ship that day and to expect an email with the tracking information. No email from them with tracking Monday 4/13/2020 so I call back Tuesday 4/14/2020 and was again assured it would ship that day and they would email tracking information. No email from them with tracking Tuesday 4/14/2020 so I tried to call back Wednesday 4/15/2020-phones are not in service.... I opened an investigation with PayPal and the BBB and sent Beach Camera an email requesting they cancel and refund on 4/15/2020, no response from Beach Camera. Digging deeper into customer reviews this seems to be a typical scam by Beach Camera. We purchased a laptop through this 3rd party vendor by way of Amazon. The purchased product - LG gram Thin and Light Laptop - 17" Display, Intel 8th Gen Core i7, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD. We received the laptop on October 8, 2019, and assumed that the Laptop was exactly what we order. After loading some songs 30 days after purchase, we ran out of space on the computer. At that time we noted the laptop had only 10 GB of space and not the 512 GB SSD as ordered. I was told by Amazon that the 45-day return policy would not allow any refunds or replacements. Therefore, I have a Laptop that was purchased that is of no use to me. The value of the laptop is $1500.00 that included the 512 GB SSD. Well, at least I can see that I am not alone. I ordered a record player and speakers for my wife's Christmas present (about $300). I received an email stating I needed to contact them. I did, they said they had a problem with my order, and that it was due to my inputting my email incorrectly. They were right. We corrected that via phone, the person I was speaking with said she put the order back through and all would be fine. Fast forward to today, 12/26. I checked my order status and it said, "cancelled." I called customer service and they said my bank cancelled it twice. I was never told my bank declined it once, and likely not true as I see a debit.. and then a credit.. it had been run and then returned. Further... there is plenty of money there and I have had ZERO other problems until this. Beach Camera's employees are so inept the manage to mess up even the simplest of tasks, such as: . answering phones (sales answers, but customer service never answers, and if you need something sales transfers you to customer service), . sending an email (sometimes after placing an order online the customer will not receive an email confirmation, sometimes the customer will receive an email confirmation with the wrong item on it, and forget about receiving emails for cancellations), or . managing orders (employees will ship orders that are confirmed as cancelled, and cancel orders which have already been paid for). Beach Camera is as bad as it gets. I have ordered many times from Beach Camera because they are very close to New York. My description is not an abnormality. Never ever buy from Beach Camera directly, only do so through Amazon, and if something goes bad Amazon has you covered. read more

This company does business as Deco Gear. I ordered a sound bar from them that was not compatible with my TV. I requested for a return the day after with no response to my email. A month later I received a review email in regards to the sound bar where I left an honest comment of how I was treated. I was contacted a few hours later with a return label to return everything in the original packaging. I didn't not have the original packaging so when I returned the item at fedex I was charged an additional $25 which the company will not cover. read more

I would like to give Beach Camera a higher review. Their customer service and management has gone above and beyond to help me. My first order with Beach Camera was missing a very expensive component which was back-ordered. This order took several weeks to resolve and resulted in a refund. My problem, really, was that the product was listed as "in-stock" throughout the entire issue, though it was not. Representatives from Beach Camera Electronics reached out to satisfy me, and I greatly appreciate the effort. However, when I made another purchase, the same problem occurred. One of the items ordered from their site, listed as "in-stock" was not actually available, and I was again refunded. I do not doubt the honesty of Beach Camera Electronics, but they have a serious communication disconnect between their online advertising and their actual inventory. read more

I ordered an LG TV from them online because i saw on the LG website that they were an authorized dealer, unlike some of the 3rd party dealers on Amazon or Newegg. They also had the best price of what i wanted from authorized retailers along with free shipping. I got worried though after reading the reviews here. Fortunately for me, i never had problems with my service. When i first placed an order, there was initially a problem with my credit card, and it was actually not a problem getting in touch with customer service, with whom my interaction was relatively pleasant (I was bracing myself for that East Coast, Jersey attitude). I've now had my TV for about a month now, and I have had absolutely no problems at all. However, i do wonder if i had a problem with my TV how difficult it would be to come to a resolution. in any case, those problems never occurred, i got a great tv for a great price, and i would most likely buy from them again based on my experience. 12/6/17 I ordered another TV on eBay (this time a Samsung), and things haven't gone as smoothly this time. They estimated delivery on 11/30/17, but they shipped through some company that i had never heard of before: Team Worldwide Logistics. Anyway, i complained through eBay about not receiving the TV. Beach finally gave me some more info about who to call to arrange delivery - info they should've given me from the start. So, i'm a bit less confident about ordering from Beach again. read more

UPDATE: A manager by the name of Charlie did get in touch with my partner and I and was able to assist in resolving this issue. He was able to see the return and process the refund right away as it was not yet taken care of as well as well compensated for our time and inconvenience. He did an awesome job making sure everything was taken care of and very apologetic for what was experienced. I wish more customer service agents were like Charlie! Ordered a TV May 21st, delivery date was of Memorial Day weekend, was delayed and did not arrive until June 3rd. Was passed through two different shipping companies and set up a delivery window of 10am-2pm that Friday (June 3rd). TV did not arrive until after 5pm after starting follow up calls with third party freight delivery company. TV did arrive damaged and refused delivery and started return/refund process the following Monday (June 6th). Have since received it seems like automated messages through the Amazon app (since that is where it was bought from Seller, Same Day Beach Camera) and followed up directly with Amazon today (June 14th) and they are saying expect some movement by the end of this week, even though the "automated" emails sounded like the 3-5 business day refund success/process was going to be taken care of today after receiving the approval (June 8th). The only other contact I have received since this whole headache started from delayed shipment was from a Freight Coordinator (June 2nd) who asked I delete my 1 star off of the seller review on Amazon and I'd receive a gift card 7 business days through a text (still have not received) and have since been blocked from sending emails (got a mailer-domain failure after sending a follow up email from this whole refund/return process). I will just keep an eye on who the seller is by next time I make a big purchase. read more

The product came with same day shipping but they didnot ship the same day. We sold out current TV. After 3 days, they canceled our order due to " unavailability". We checked their website the next day and all the items in the bundle are still in stock. I contacted Amazon customer service, they contacted Beach Camera to ship our order. I also emailed them directly. Long story short, they told us to call them to replace order. When I called and talked to their Sales Rep, he was so rude and said he will not replace the order, first because of unavailability, then story changes to their price mistake (after screwing us up big time, we now dont have TV). I asked to talked to customer service and their manager, she said all the managers were busy and she would forward the issue to them and have them call back same day or next day. Now, its the "next day", I havent received the call. I called them at 5:30pm Eastern time, it said " They are closed" then say their normal business hour is until "7pm" on that day, WTH?!! I bought a Canon Pixma 9120 printer on 12/1/2018, and on 5/17/2019 there is a hardware issue according to Canon support. Canon said that Beach Camera is not an authorized canon dealer, therefore there is no one year warranty for this printer. Don't buy any product from Beach Camera until you know if they are an authorized dealer for the product. Somehow I bought the printer through Amazon, but can't find the purchase on Amazon's site. Just wasted $99, and now had to order a similar replacement directly from Canon; costing 88.99. (which is what Canon calls an upgrade program ... wow! not much an upgrade). . read more
