Complete Disaster. Hot, Broken, Overpriced, and Poorly Maintained. We came to Beach Bowl in Jacksonville Beach at 4:30 p.m. on July 29, 2026, expecting to enjoy an afternoon of bowling. Instead, we experienced one of the worst bowling outings we've ever had. The biggest problem was the temperature inside the building. We were told the air conditioning units were broken or needed repairs. It was unbelievably hot. The bowling alley felt like a sweatshop, and everyone was sweating the entire time. It's difficult to enjoy bowling when you're constantly wiping sweat from your face. As if that wasn't bad enough, the lane scoring system didn't even work correctly. The scoring would not switch to the next player. One person could throw multiple shots, and the system still wouldn't rotate to the next bowler. Eventually, we had to move to another lane because ours was malfunctioning. We lost a significant amount of bowling time because of their equipment failure, yet no additional time was added to make up for it. Looking around the bowling alley, I also noticed that many of the seats were ripped, torn, and badly worn. The entire facility looks neglected and in desperate need of maintenance. To top it all off, the prices for bowling, food, and drinks are anything but reasonable. You're paying premium prices for a facility with broken air conditioning, malfunctioning lanes, worn-out furniture, and an overall poor customer experience. This place needs major repairs and a serious commitment to customer service before charging the prices they do. I cannot recommend Beach Bowl in its current condition. Until they repair the air conditioning, fix the lane equipment, improve the seating, and properly maintain the facility, I would strongly suggest bowling somewhere else. What a complete disappointment.

Can't rate the bowling part cause we only came in for a rooftop drink while celebrating my besties birthday. The outside upstairs bar was great! The fries are some of the best I've had in my entire life! The drinks were also tasty! Being from the north the service was a little slow but friendly!

Went to Beach Bowl for the first time in probably 15 years. The remodel is so nice! There's a fancy VIP area upstairs with a few bowling lanes. Food and drink service at our lane was very attentive. Nachos were surprisingly good! Also I got a mini pitcher of the "Cherry Coke" cocktail. It's really a good value for $12. There's about 2 drinks worth in the pitcher. Plenty of balls available even though it was fairly busy. A fun time was had! PS: You don't have to be bowling to eat or drink. They have a whole restaurant section with tables and a bar.

I'll start by saying Beach Bowl is adorable! The place is immaculately kept and so aesthetically pleasing. We went when they first opened up and it was virtually empty so that was nice. I am just floored at what the price is for 1 hour of bowling. I spent almost $60 for 2 people! 1 hour. And it's actually timed so you feel really rushed. We didn't even get snacks or eat. I'm not sure I can afford that kind of bowling.

Went for brunch yesterday to watch the Jaguars game in London. While they advertised specials for the game, they were extremely under staffed. There was no table service, and everything had to be ordered at the bar where it could take up to 15 min to put in your order. Once I ordered my food, it took over an hour for it to come out and I think it only came because we asked about it. The food itself was actually pretty good, and they did comp it for the long wait. Overall, I don't think I would come here for a busy event but maybe would go for a drink since the outdoor patio was nice.

Nice place to go bowling but it can get pretty busy. We waited almost two hours for two lanes. You can't call and reserve lanes either, you have to show up and put your name on the list . But there's plenty to do while you wait they have a restaurant and bar. They also have a rooftop bar that has live music. They also have an arcade for kids to play, you have to put money in a card and you win tokens.

The service was quite poor, the food was very bland and honestly quite expensive for what you get. They charge extra for ranch after already charging almost $20 for a small burger and fries. The avocado toast wasn't avocado it was a guacamole paste you can buy from Walmart. The mimosas we got were straight champagne with the tinniest drop of just (picture below). I was quite disappointed with my exper

The vibes and decor are beautiful! A much needed upgrade! We've had this place on our list to try for a year now, and finally went today. We arrived around 1 pm and they only had 2 lanes left. They were poppin! We paid $25 for an hour of bowling, and $4 per shoes. We had a very attentive/sweet waitress the entire time. We shared a pitcher of a peach drink and then a vodka lemonade one. She brought waters without asking, and I love when people do that. We shared the spicy shrimp app, and it was tasty? The only reason I deducted a star is how close you are bowling with other families. It's tight in there, but other than that, a great time!

4 Overall Secured two lanes soon after arrival on a Tuesday night for a group of 9. Offer early bird pricing which was nice. Service- Average overall, didn't have to wait long on food (appetizers). Drinks- Good selection, ok deals/Happy Hour- limited to beer and vodka. Normal drinks ranged from. $10-15 each. Light on alcohol. A few nonalcoholic options around $6. Food- Appetizers ordered: Fried pickles (whole spears and actually quite good and not greasy), nachos (not a lot of toppings- meat or otherwise, would pass), and Buffalo chicken wontons (think grocery freezer grade). Overall ok. Ordered one chicken tender meal and it came with 4 super large tenders- which the kids liked. Bowling- no issues, ran smoothly, can pay by hour or rounds with lane cost as well. Overall good- somewhat more expensive than traditional (no $5 pitchers here). Also offer a ln arcade section and full restaurant. Would go back, more for the bowling than drinks.

Ummm. Pitchers of nastiness! Single serve!

It was nice that they were side by side, but we were surprised to be charged an additional $40 just for that. On top of that, there was a $6 registration fee per person, which caught us off guard. Maybe that's standard at Topgolf, but it wasn't something we expected, so it felt like an extra $82 without much added value. The food was decent for a venue like this, I'd compare it to Applebee's. Nothing exceptional, but perfectly fine if that's the type of food you're looking for. Overall, I did think it was a bit expensive. Our total bill came to around $350 for two hours of play, four shared appetizers, and no alcoholic drinks. That said, they made my son's 17th birthday a little more special by bringing out complimentary donuts, which was a thoughtful touch. Our server was also fantastic, friendly, attentive, and stayed on top of everything throughout the evening. Those little things definitely helped make the experience enjoyable despite the higher price. 3.5 Stars

Mechanic was super friendly…read more We checked out the deal online. 15.99 shoes included for unlimited bowling 11-3 we got there at 11 when they opened. The woman who checked us in asked if we had summer passes - we did not - then informed us of 15.99 for two hours of bowling. This was a surprise. There was no mention of a time limit outside of the 11-3pm timeframe. We were told we could not bring in our water bottles. (Good to see that Bowlero doesn't care about the environment) We asked for water at the concession. Free but no lids for the cups. (That clearly is the smartest move for a 3 year old when if that is spilled it threatens the safety of all bowlers because wet bowling shoes don't slide) because that wasn't a concern of the facility we did asked for a pitcher of ice water and were told 'no i can give you all the water you can carry' which may have been an attempt to be funny but it wasn't. What gets me is this company it's not only one of the reasons that the bowling industry is a whole is failing due to their aggressive 'no leagues in our house attitude' from a few years ago. But they are literally out pricing families. Without this 'deal' One game of bowling nine dollars per person, not including shoe rental. A family of three? Over $40 with shoes for two. Absolutely atrocious. I have so many amazing memories from youth bowling, and this house when it was Bowl America. Im sad to say my kiddo wont have the same memories here. Add to it the gouge my ball took really left a sour experience.
