Can we talk about how fresh their wings ARE!!! No blood on the bone, just hot, crispy, juicy fried chicken wings. I think I found my new chicken wing spot! We went after watching a movie at the Atlantic theater. Went about 7:00 on a Saturday evening. The place was packed and just full of good vibes. Family friendly too. Oh, and the draft beer . I met a few friends at Twin Peaks to watch Sunday football. We sat outside on the patio and one of the TVs nearby was showing the Ravens game. It was busy but our server came by regularly to check on us. I ordered the chicken quesadilla which was served with sour cream, lettuce, pico and salsa. It was hot and tasty. I also tried my friends fried pickles and cheese curds. The pickles were okay but I really enjoyed the curds dipped in marinara. I think I've been to a Twin Peaks once before and wasn't impressed. Wanted a Caesar salad and this was the closest to my client so headed in. Sure I could compare this to a Hooters just for the overall "theme" but at least Hooters had a core focus on tasty wings and curly fries. Twin Peaks is a typical bar with bar food trying to do a little bit of everything. Nothing wrong with the salad or fries or service, but nothing outstanding about anything either. Honestly a good sports bar with decent food. Cold cider every now and again for me and the a good selection of drafts beers too. Definitely have some comfort foods in the menu, for a chain, this is pretty darn good. Friendly staff and it's not too loud. read more

Came here again with my car club after Caffeine and Octane - we came right as the doors opened and were immediately seated. We quickly ordered and everyone had a wide variety of meals - the wings seemed to be what everyone wanted to order today. My tacos were a little spicy but they hit the spot. The salads were great and the house margaritas were great value to be $6. The environment is very relaxed and the games are posted on every television. After a long day, I stopped in to meet some friends and get some drinks and food. The place was busy with customers coming and going. The facility was very clean, and the food was delicious. However, I was not impressed with the service. Just because there are pretty faces walking around doesn't mean they can't focus on the service and pay attention to what's being asked. It felt like we were holding the waitress up, but in reality, we were being held up for ransom just to get an order and even to get the check. My wings were excellent and full of flavor. I would definitely get them again, opting for bone-in naked versus smoked and grilled next time. The wings were big, unlike some other places that serve tiny chicken wings. I also got a side of rice pilaf, but honestly, I should have sent it back and just gotten the wings. There were more green beans and tomatoes than rice, and it tasted sour. I got maybe a couple of tablespoons of rice out of that $5 side. A friend ordered some wings as bites or an appetizer, and that was the winner, I think. There was so much flavor, and the ribs were just as meaty as the wings. And of course, the beer is always cold! read more

Good beer specials and happy hour specials. Left to be desired- Hostess not friendly at all, not one smile. Good and beers took forever to arrive- sat at 4, didn't leave until after 7. Food order- missing items, including a side of mac and cheese for my daughter which only came after numerous requests about 25 minutes after all other food arrive (apparently they kept putting the breadcrumbs she opted out of on top). Never received one side salad,one be side of blue cheese, one beer. Check was all mixed together- had to separate out a few times to arrange. Again, wait staff was super nice, but went missing for long periods at a time and he overall time it took to get our food (even wrong) was not worth it. Plenty of parking when we visited on a Saturday lunch and lots of people! Twin Peaks is a franchise restaurant and is the first one in Jacksonville. The servers reminds me of Hooters as their uniform consists of short shorts and cleavage showing tank tops ;) It's is a sports bar so there were tv's everywhere, great place to watch any game. And anywhere you sit, you have a pretty good view of what they are showing on tv. We ordered the Brisket Chili in a bowl for a starter. It was in a very small bowl, a lady beside us ordered the same thing and had to ask the server if that is the bowl size, indeed it was! We were expecting it to be larger since there was a smaller option in a cup size. Oh well, it was just okay, not much brisket. My husband got the Mom's Pot Roast, he liked it but there was too much fat. As for me, I tried their Smoked Chicken Quesadilla which was pretty tasty. Walking in gives you a nice, modern sports bar type ambiance. TVs, TVs and TVs anywhere you look. Now let's talk food and what I like & recommend... - Their Signature 29 Degree Draft Beers. They were really good. I can drink and drink those beers until my top comes off. Something about super chilled, colder beers that elevates the taste to another level. - I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and really loved it. My husband and I go here every Friday night for date night. The food is amazing. The Twin Peaks light beer is so freaking good and always super cold! To start with, I'd like to say the same thing I've said in my reviews of Hooters: I do not understand people who use review sites to virtue signal regarding restaurants like this. With Hooters and Twin Peaks, you know what you're going into. So why use a site like Yelp to be self righteous about the uniforms? Having said all of that, my wife wanted to try Twin Peaks so we went on a Friday night. It took about 15 minutes to get sat, which isn't bad considering they were swamped. Once we were sat, our drinks came out quickly as did our appetizer. It's worth noting that our server was super nice. Her and my wife talked a lot every time she stopped by our table. Regarding the food, it's nothing to write home about but it's certainly not bad for the money. My wife ordered the Texas Philly which she LOVED. I had the frilled salmon, which was good. The side of rice wasn't very good at all but the salmon itself tasted great. Wed stop in again when we're in the area for sure. read more

The avocado smash burger I had was fine. Nothing exceptional, just a standard bar burger. Fries, mostly crispy and well-seasoned. Served on a wooden board without utensils or napkins. Had to ask for a setup because it was a really messy burger. Otherwise, service at the bar was decent. The two bartenders were pretty busy at lunchtime. Beer is too damn cold. Twenty-nine degrees may be OK for cheap adjunct lagers but if I'm ordering a craft beer like a Jai Alai or an I-10, I want to taste it. The frosted mug had chunks of ice floating on top. Ambiance is what you would expect. Fake hunting lodge, form-fitting camo, lots of TVs. I would be happy to find this place in an airport when I had a long layover. We even asked for more and let our waitress know but she brought out more of the same thing. Disappointed! My husband ordered a burger and said it was delicious but they didn't cook the egg as asked. I ordered an Italian flatbread. It was good but I felt like they skimped on meat and very light on sauce. I would like to say that the food was good but just not on point as expected.
