Their beef bbq is so good! We went Back about 3x in a month. Their sweets aren't all that. they aren't a bakery so letting it slide. Took a star for the extra fat you get with the beef instead of more meat. Flavor is good with and without the sauce..... Some of the best BBQ I've had in the Chicago area. My first time there, so I tried the brisket, ribs, and chicken thighs. They were all great. Brisket was juicy and smoky, ribs were done perfectly and had maybe a hint of Asian BBQ (?) flavor, chicken thighs were a little dry had but really good flavor. For sides I had the potato salad - excellent! The chicken came with homemade potato chips, which were a nice touch and really tasty! Definitely worth another visit! read more

It was no line and one family in the dining room so it was a short while before I received my order. I went with the baked potato with brisket which came with a huge potato and a nice helping of brisket. The bbq sauce was self serve so I grabbed a couple servings and tried it with and without. I don't think there is a ton of barbecue places by us and this one was a random find and definitely a keeper. On a Sunday afternoon, we arrived as soon as they opened therefore everything was still available. I heard that certain meats sell out fast so arriving early is key. Four adults and two young children shared the following: 1) Large macaroni and cheese 2) Large slaw 3) The rib tips (1 pound) were plentiful and an awesome catch for just $11. The flavors were rich and the meat was juicy. This is definitely one of our favorites! 4) My girls shared the pulled pork sandwich and I really like how they don't slather it with barbecue sauce because I generally refrain from giving my girls too much condiments. I added a bit and the girls devoured the sandwich. 5) The BBQ meat sampler consisted of wagyu brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken, ribs, and hot link. It's a good way to try a little bit of everything and figure out what you like best. Overall, I enjoyed every item but my favorites are the ribs, pulled chicken, and hot link. I generally don't care for pulled chicken but this one was exceptional. It was juicy and flavor-packed, to the extent that barbecue sauce was absolutely unnecessary. We are now 3 for 3 with Beach BBQ! The ribs tips slapped harder than Ike did Tina in the 80's. The perfect burnt crisp. The little red ridge around the edges of the cut meats. I mean how can anyone compare? Order was ready in 5 mins and the service was outstanding. I should've grabbed a sauce but that's on me for being in a rush to go eat. Thank you to the team over there.
