I've been coming here for 10 years since I moved to SM and even though I'm back in Temecula, she's still worth the drive for a pedicure. Even if she's busy she will still cut them for you. Her son did my nails and he did a really good job. The shop received a makeover and they took out the TV, which I miss watching the news. I hadn't been here in a while and walked in for a pedicure. The ladies are always so nice and friendly. It's a hit and miss depending on who does the pedicure for you. This time it was an older lady and although she was nice I did not enjoy the pedicure. She wasn't gentle, pinched my pinky toe and it started bleeding. Heard great reviews about this place so I came for a fill because my usual nail tech is on vacation. I've been getting gel acrylics since 2015 and have been getting fills ever since. This is the first time where gel lifted off my nail the very next day. I came back and Lani told me it's my fault because I didn't place my fingers right. I guess I'm supposed to know how to use her blue light machine. She could have just told me in the moment rather than tell me when I had to inconveniently come back. She even said it's happened to many customers which tells me it's the nail tech's issue, not the customer. Guess it's my fault that the gel didn't set, something she should have checked for since it happens so often. I left feeling ashamed and embarrassed bc I got yelled at for a mediocre job she did. She pulled my fingers and moved my arms harshly and aggressively and filed harder than she did yesterday. I could tell she was annoyed bc she didn't do this yesterday. I had to ask her to please be more gentle which is so unbelievable. Ps, I called ahead and I still waited 20 minutes to get a repair. And then another 30 minutes just for her to fix them bc she kept tending to other people and tasks. Disappointed. read more

Save yourself the trouble and go to the other Be Polished a few blocks away. This one is awful and a few of the nail techs are so rude. Today was the worst experience, I won't go back. I came in for French tips, I had grown my natural nails out nicely they were about 1/2 inch long. I showed an image of how I wanted them shaped and explained I want them kept long, and natural. The girl filed my entire nail down, to the point that I couldn't achieve the look because now my nail was gone. She may as well have cut my nail off because the sliver that's as left was crooked as well. I am non-confrontational and shy, I asked a few times if she could stick to what I requested & when I said she was filing my nail crooked & way too short she threw my hands down and said have someone else do it. I left and did them at home luckily my nails will grow back. What a disappointment. read more

Terrible first impression. Walked in and the estimated 10 minute wait turned into a 40 minute wait. Was going to walk out, but I was already 15 minutes into my wait lol and was committed to getting my nails done, plus it was getting late, and didn't think it was going to drag onto 40 minutes. I got a pedicure here yesterday and they did a terrible job. My big toe hurts so bad. She cut me 2 times. And the nail polish looks so bad! So I went back the next day. And she sat me down. Didn't even take my nail polish off she just filed them and added more coats of nail polish. She told me to wait 5 min before I left. So 1 minute past by and the manager walked by me and the girl that did my nails got up really fast put my sandals on and told me I was ready to go. She obviously didn't want her to see my nails. Last time we went, it took around an hour to get serviced, but I understood they were low staffed. This time around we had an appointment at 11:00am for two pedicures and then another pair came afterwards for the same thing at the same time, and after waiting around 15 minutes, the other pair were seated before us. I used to come here all the time and was so happy with the service. After moving away for a years I just came back to get a manicure. This was the worst and most PAINFUL manicure I've ever received. The first woman who did my nails filed them unevenly, cut me twice, and filed so hard my skin ripped and would not stop bleeding. I have polish all over my hands. One of the other women (who did an excellent job on my sisters nails) came and checked my hands as I was getting ready to leave. There was a lot of talk and then the second women re-filed my nails so they are now semi-even but she had to make them so painfully short to do so! She then re-did two more coats of gel.... I left with stubs for nails, painful cuts, and have been peeling gel polish from my finger tips all day. Even though my sisters nails turned out great, it is not worth the risk of getting the manicurist who did my nails! Needless to say I will never be back. read more

I've been coming here for almost 10 years and while they've had their good days and bad, I'm familiar with how they operate at this point and know who's good at what and when to come in. And they always make sure I walk out happy. They do get very busy and appointments are not their strong suit. But I just call the same day or day before I want to go in and find out if there's an opening - I never have any issues coming in when I need to. Loni and Lisa are great with acrylics. Lisa has been gone since COVID so I've also seen Penny who does a good job. For pedicures, I love Tracy and Tran. But everyone does a good job. These ladies have been through a lot with COVID, but always greet me by name and with a smile. I've never had any issues when I ask them to fix something I don't like. Today I came here for the third time, and I will not be returning. This is the second time I have made an appointment where they did not even begin to help me until 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment. The lady who did my nails tried to go so fast that she cut me not once, but TWICE, and made me bleed both times. She did not apologize, but just said "it'd be ok" and it's "not a lot of blood". I complained to the owner about my cuts and the appointment time running 45 minutes late, and her response was "what am I supposed to do, I don't have medicine".... What?!?!? Not only did they make sores on my feet but the polish and pedicure looks horrible. Side note: I went to get a fill there two weeks before and within a week, three of my acrylics had popped off! When they asked me if I wanted to get my nails done, I mentioned that last time three popped off only a few days after my fill and she said "you must have hit them on something. Your fault"...
