I have been coming here for years. Though throughout the years they have slowly been going down hill, they just care about being done quick rather than doing a great job. What has caused me to not go back is I was charged TWICE. If the employee does not know how to use card terminal they shouldn't be allowed too: I was charged twice, had both receipts, even the only guy employee apologized and mentioned coming back the next day once owner was there to get refund. I go back the following day and they act like they have no idea what I was talking about. Mentioning they would check w THEIR bank yet had nothing to do with it. All I wanted was my refund. I've been a loyal customer of this salon since around 2017 and have always been respectful and consistent with my visits. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was extremely disappointing. I called ahead to book an appointment for 4:30 p.m. When I arrived, I ended up waiting for more than 30 minutes with no updates. By 5:00 p.m., I politely asked if the water for my pedicure could at least be started so I could relax. The only reason I made this request was because I saw other customers already seated with their water running, relaxing comfortably. If it was possible for them, why wasn't it possible for me? Instead, one of the employees dismissed me, said "later," and walked away. What made things worse was the unprofessional behavior that followed several employees laughed together in another language, which left me feeling singled out, uncomfortable, and disrespected. In that moment, it even felt discriminatory, as though I was being treated differently for no valid reason. When I started to get my things together to leave, they suddenly told me "Wait two minutes, my friend," but at that point I was already upset by how my request had been ignored and how I had been treated. I even called to speak with the manager, hoping for some resolution, but after explaining the entire situation and emphasizing that I've been a long-time customer, I was brushed off with nothing more than a quick "OK." There was no genuine concern or effort to make things right. As a customer of many years, I left feeling unvalued, disrespected, and dismissed. This place is horrible if you want to have a relaxing time don't come here I literally sat here for like 40min while they sat 3 different people they don't go by who came first. Horrible service. Have you ever gotten your nails done and want to take them off right after? I never wanted to do that till now. This was the first time I tried this place. I have my usual spot but my nail lady wasn't available so I decided to come here. My mother in law and sister in law love this spot so why not give it a try. I waited over an hour for someone to do my nails. As I waited, entire time the ladies were talking about every person that walked in because they came in closer to closing and then they would laugh about it. When I finally got called to do my nails, it was the lady in the first seat that did them. I went here for this first time today, and was shocked. Everyone working there, was so nice, and it had a nice ambiance/atmosphere. I simply walked in, and I was sat down immediately, the lady who worked there gave me a few compliments and was overall amazing. Throughout the service, she continued to check in with me, on whether the nails were turning out as I wanted. As my nails were getting worked on, I was able to watch TV, which was nice! The lady and I struck up a conversation, and she was an absolutely delightful person. She took her time, and was extremely good with the detail and shape of my nails. This past weekend was the worst experience ever at BC Nails. My sister and I walked in for pedicures and manicures with gel. The man there was very rude to begin with. Was poking my sister's toenail. When he got to her fingernails, he was even more rude, laughing at the color of her nail polish. My sister asked him if he liked her polish, and he gave her a look and laughed and said no.. The lady that was attending me had no idea what she was even doing. I had tips on my fingernails, and I just wanted gel polish over then. She ended up melting off my tips. She cut me, I think about 45 minutes later she was not even close to finishing, and I had to tell them to charge, and I was done. The man was yelling at my sister because he felt the need to charge me for a take-off when the manicurist melted my tips off. I paid and left no tip because he was very rude, and I was bleeding.. I went in for a full set some weeks ago and was initially worked on by an older lady sitting in the back of the salon. We had some extreme disagreements over the nail design and I switched to somebody else to finish the job, but the nails had already been attached so the first woman had already caused these deep ridges with the nail drill, before we even had issues. I really don't understand why that woman is still working there, she's a lawsuit waiting to happen as this nail damage is honestly the least traumatizing aspect of my experience with her. I really hope these ridges heal and I'm not left with permanent damage. Based on other reviews, it seems the same woman, Deiu, is causing mayhem with everybody. I've came here before and had no problem but me and my boyfriend came on Tuesday 7/25 and first red flag was noticing that they were using old nail files and putting them back on the cart instead of throwing them away, second they were also using the same tools and only washing them off in the water they used to wash my feet.. literally I should have left. Now me and my boyfriend have infected toe nails. His big toe started the next day 7/26 and mine just started today 7/29 on 2 toes I'm so upset and never going back again. I've been a customer for a few years now. There's been a lot of bad reviews on here, but I think the situation has changed. Just for reference, I get a mani/pedi combo each time; regular polish on my toes and UV Gel on my hands. My toes stay painted until I return in 2-3 weeks. I wear both open toed and closed toe shoes. My manicure will stay perfect until my next return. The only time the polish starts to lift, is when I go beyond three weeks. I will say, I've only had Thao, Helen and Tina do my nails. I recommend requesting one of the three. Honestly, the shop itself could be cleaner, which is why it's only a four star rating.
