Had a good friend pickup a beef rib and chicken for me as I am in an assisted living place. The food they try to serve me here SUCKS to say it nicely so I was ecstatic with the care package that was delivered. The owner was packing up my to-go order I understand and he found out that I was a Veteran and disabled so he put in some BBQ crispy crunchy pieces in with my order. AWESOME. There was so much good food I divided the meal into 2 plates so I could enjoy this awesome food for 2 days. There was so much still I gave a small plate to another Vet that is stuck here also. We both agreed, BBQ2U has awesome caveman beef ribs! Chicken was great also. Truth be told, I would probably give these guys 4.75 if that was an option. Food here is AMAZING. Everything they cook is fantastic. Great seating options and parking is a plenty. Without a doubt, this is Texas BBQ at it's best. I've wanted a place like this in the area for EVER and this guys deliver. One small complaint, the sides you get with the Texas tray are crazy small. I grabbed what I thought would be the side and the lady was like, no it's the other ones. I literally got a jello shots worth of coleslaw and mac and cheese. The sides are AMAZING. So getting such a small amount was a little disheartening. First time I went, sides were much bigger. Also, not a fan of the way they ask you to tip. Never seen that before. Stopped in for dinner and enjoyed some brisket and ribs. It's market style, so you order at the counter and they slice and weigh it right in front of you. The meat definitely looks great, but I found both brisket and ribs to be just slightly too moist for my liking. There was a lot of rendered fat that caused it to be just too far on the mushy side. But there is some delicious smoke flavor and the seasoning is definitely strong on the pepper side. The cole slaw was pretty plain, but is a decent enough contrast to the meat. The beans had a delicious sweetness to them, and were a real standout. I also really dug the free pickles, onions, and white bread. I'm a fan of Texas BBQ and am grateful to have a spot close to home that is making it readily available. Will definitely be going back, hopefully during a busier time to see if the quality of the meat is more to my liking. read more

My husband thinks of himself as BBQ expert especially since he grow up on KC BBQ being from Kansas. His favorite is the spare rib which harder to find in the PNW. He was very impressed with quality and flavors of the meats. The portions are fair and they he sides are adequate but the MEATS are excellent. We will definitely be back. read more

Having lived all over the south, we have pretty high standards when it comes to barbecue. And I must say that we were pretty impressed with our experience here! We ordered the beef rib, pork spareribs, chicken, and then sides of coleslaw and baked beans. Keep in mind, you buy many things by the pound here. So the minimum we could spend for one huge beef rib was about $30. It was absolutely ginormous! Both of the ribs were quite fatty, but as true barbecue eaters will tell you, that is where the flavor comes from. The only disappointment for us with the meat was the chicken. Absolutely wonderful flavor but ours was quite dry. The beans were a bit lacking in flavor and salt, so all three of us did not care for those. And the coleslaw was basic good old coleslaw that paired well with the variousmeat selections. Overall, we would definitely go back. By far the best barbecue option in town. (Side note... After I posted this review and some friends saw it on social media, I got a lot of feedback from people who just don't happen to do reviews on yelp. We ordered the Texas plate. It's inexpensive. We paid $20 for the plate. It could feed about 3 people, two if you have a serious appetite. It came with two sides and two choices of meat. My husband and I came here for lunch last week. The guy at the counter was friendly and funny. My husband is from Texas so we like to try all the BBQ places around here. He got the brisket and I got the smoked turkey breast. The turkey breast was so moist and delicious! My husband raved about the brisket as well. Now for the sides, I got the coleslaw and Mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese was really good. The coleslaw was a bit dry for my taste, but still good. My husband got the potato salad and banana pudding, both delicious. Only negative was I could see a hair at the bottom of the banana pudding container before I opened it. (Was looking at the ingredients on the bottom) informed the guy at the front and he tossed it and I grabbed a different one. All in all I have recommended this place to my friends and family.
