    BMK!

Holy smokes, if you're looking for a perfectly made burger with spectacularly unique flavor, do yourself a favor and go to Boss Mama's Kitchen! I was first introduced to BMK when a work vendor had them catering a holiday event and I was blown away with the experience. I ordered the Cowgirl burger with no cheese and it was so good that I immediately looked up where BMK would be next so I could take my spouse. I've now been twice and can't wait to introduce others to this awesome food truck!

So I stopped by today to get some lunch for my dad and I and it was delicious. So first the mama fratelli burger was damn amazing probably the best burger I've ever had. It was messy, gooey cheese, tasty burger patties, awesome bun, just hands down an awesome burger, a little pricey at 10$ but well worth the money for a treat. Next was the B&B grilled cheese was bad but because it was burnt my dad nor I could taste much of anything so at 9.50$ it wasn't worth it only because it was burnt. As for a treat once in awhile would recommend but for everyday it would get a tad pricey.

    Emails confirming June 9th

I went to Half Lion Brewery specifically to start a relationship with this food truck. She attended one event at my business and while it was during the winter season I packed the house to promote it. She told me that she wanted more business so I decided to wait till summer hours when our patio is open and I could get her even more business wanting to build on our relationship. In May I referred her to a customer who was hosting an event at my business and tried to give her and her truck more business. Unfortunately the customer cancelled Boss Mama's because they couldn't get the 200 guests they were anticipating over two days. Boss Mamas wrote me two emails confirming dates at my business for June 9th and June 22-25th. The June 22nd and 24th dates Boss Mamas requested to cancel for another event and I agreed telling her I understood - AGAIN trying to build this relationship. She text me on June 2nd to ask about times on June 23rd and I told her 4:30 and the same for June 9th. She replied that she wasn't at my business on June 9th and that she meant to say May 9th in her emails. I sent her photos of both emails (see photos). Ultimately I tried to build a relationship with Jen, refer her to my clients and in the end I promoted her event to my 500 email subscribers and to all of my customers. She took no accountability and there was zero follow through - instead she said I had never asked for June 9th. I am looking for food trucks to build a lasting relationship with at my growing business, and I love my clients and customers and will refer you to them for their special events as well! Feel free to reach out to me 805.464.9343 **must have follow through

3.5 stars for taste, but way overpriced. $7 for a cheeseburger that is equivalent to frisko freeze.

This is the best burger I've found between Oly and Seattle!…read more The food: burgers are made with a special combination of ground chuck and short rib. The patties are thick 1/2 pounders and are cooked to perfection. We usually split a burger because they're so huge! The Seoul sauce is fantastic and they come with cheddar cheese and are served on a brioche bun. They have other variations of burgers, including the Bulgogi burger made with grilled ribeye, Seoul X with fire soul meat, the Soul burger which is a Korean grilled pork butt, and more. They have great fries, including garlic fries. Service: there is often a line because the food is great! But the folks manning the grill are fast without sacrificing quality. Service is friendly & efficient. They also have smash burgers, but we haven't tried them. The shakes are great and they make delicious pickles. Ambience: whenever we have been here, or was a food truck located in the parking lot of a mini-market. When we have eaten here before, they had no tables, so it was a bit messy in the car. We have been traveling for awhile, so it's been awhile since we ate here. It now looks like they may have a building and some outside seating. Time to go back!

It's located in the Beer Star lot which is pretty small and has limited parking, but parking in the area isn't too bad. It's nice that you can dine in at Beer Star with your Chicken Supply order! And Beer Star is pet friendly! We love seeing all the dogs that come to hang out, and can't wait to bring our dog one of these days. My boyfriend loves their chicken bites, but the thigh is my personal favorite. The wings are really good too, but I think they're too much work compared to the other 2 cuts. All of the chicken is perfectly fried. It's so crispy and light on the outside, while the chicken meat is juicy and flavorful. I wouldn't be surprised if they use MSG because the chicken is very addicting. I've tried a number of their sides but the garlic rice is my favorite. It's very fragrant if you love garlic! The loaded fries were good in the sense that the fries are very crispy and the toppings are very tasty. However, the toppings are sparsely drizzled over the top level of fries, so once you eat through that layer, you're left with regular fries. The collard greens were very tasty but I found them to be too salty to eat on its own or with the chicken; that being said, I think it goes really well with rice! Their pickles are flavored well and pair up so nicely with their fried items. The marinated veggies were okay. They are served cold and were my least favorite out of everything that I've tried. Overall, this is one of my new favorite places and can't wait to be back!

Ordering and payment was a snap though this place is pretty pricey! We ordered the chicken bites, garlic fried rice and the marinated veggies and dined inside Beer Star. It was packed at 5 pm on a Friday. Service was prompt. 5 min wait for piping hot food is not bad. Once inside Beer Star, we found a table. It was surprising to see so many kids running around, family gatherings and being a pet friendly business a lot of them furry friends. Getting to the food, it was truly amazing. The chicken bites was the star of the show. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Perfectly battered and thoughtfully crafted. Its gluten and celiac free. We got the chicken bites loaded (for a couple of extra bucks) with hot oil and aioli. The garlic fried rice was slightly al-dente and quite oily. It slightly complemented the chicken. imo it could have used a few more ingredients like eggs?. The marinated veggies was fine and mostly eggplant. Next time I would probably stick with the chicken and try their wings with hot honey. Organic ketchup, napkins and spoons are self serve by the food pickup window. Limited hours 4 to 8 pm and yes they do run out of food, so go early. It a small parking lot (7-8 cars) with some street parking mostly taken up by Beer Star patrons. Extra bonus points that it's in Proctor - my favourite stomping ground. I got there not too long after they opened and about half of the tables were already taken. I found a place at the bar and was quickly greeted. I didn't see a drink menu, so I figured a mimosa is the obvious choice. They also have apple and grapefruit juice so you can mix it up a bit! For breakfast I went with the Mediterranean Veggie Hash, which was excellent! Good ratios of all the ingredients and I will absolutely be eating another one! Took everyone's drink order but mine. When she came back I asked if there were adult drinks. There are no drinks listed anywhere in the menu. When our food came I asked for butter.... butter never came. She checked on us 20 mins later and I just gave her my card. She came back with the credit card slip to sign and my copy. There was no itemized receipt so I dont know exactly what I paid for but I assume $134 for 5 people sounded about right I gave 4 stars cause the food made up for it... or atleast my dish did! French toast was nice and fluffy. The syrup tasted like a caramel/maple mix. Goodm but too sweet toward the end Blueberry pancakes were nice and fluffy 6oz steak and eggs was the winner. Your choice of bread. Comes with hasbrowns. The steak was cooked medium which was fine. The sauce on the steak is what got me. There was pesto, shredded cheese and some type of ketchup/may/ maybe Sriracha mix. But it was REALLY tasty. Southwest hash - great portion. Has brown postion was nice and crispy. They were very busy. It was father's day. So im sure it was just an off day with the service. Would definitely try again The only suggestion i would make would be to put the items that dont fit on the main plate, on a smaller plate. These tables have limited room. So giving each patron 2 large plates (one for french toast and an equally large plate for eggs and bacon) took up a lot of room on a 4 person table where you sat 5
