My wife and I had put off visiting the BBQ Station because we were sadly disappointed with their original reviews when they opened. Since, however, my son and sister had gone and they loved the food so we figured we'd give it a shot. We are glad we did. The food was really good! The service was good. It's a walk up cafeteria-style service where you are served by folks behind a counter. It's not a sit-down full service restaurant. They serve on paper plates with plastic forks and knives, I'm guessing to keep the costs down, so if you want something nicer or fancier, this may not be your place. BUT The food was really tasty, which is an important part of my experience. REALLY TASTY! Everything was cooked to perfection, including the corn on the cob. We had tri-tip and the jalapeño cheese sausage trays. Very, very good and It's fairly priced, in our opinions. The ambiance is similar to a diner, like Millie's, Honey's and Sergio's before BBQ Station. So don't expect fancy. Loved the BBQ sauce station and they have a bar which is cool is you're a drinker. Loved their Cole slaws too. I really give the management kudos for not begging for tips at their credit card kiosk. They don't prompt for 18-25% tips for counter / cafeteria style service. Tips are optional. We tipped, because we liked their greeting and customer service and food. Super friendly and attentive staff. I think the BBQ Station is a keeper. We will be back and you should give them a try, too! We live supporting local businesses and wish Niko and team a long streak of success! I'd give them a solid 4.7. read more

First time, the restaurant is nice inside, and the staff was pleasant. Let me say that I really wanted to like this place, I don't know if a great BBQ place close. We had Mac n cheese, beans, potato salad and both slaws. Did a combo of the creamy and vinegar. Really enjoyed all the sides, the beans were probably my favorite, the cabbage slaws I liked them mixed together. Now the meat which is really what you go to bbq for. Baby back ribs and brisket. The ribs were super soft, my wife loved them I thought they were ok. I would have liked a little bark or char flavor finish. Overall for me they were decent. The brisket I had was dry, was soft, nice bark, good flavor, just unfortunately was dry. And that really stood out when eating. If that brisket was moist it would have been great. We had lunch about noon so not sure if that brisket was just a lil over cooked, maybe an older brisket I don't know. I will probably try again, I'd like to try the sausage and pulled pork, and would give the brisket another try because like I said flavor and bark on point, soft and tender just dry. If that brisket was not dry I would probably rate 5 stars but to me it is your staple meat at a bbq spot needs to be perfect every time. read more

I'm not one to overhype. I was really surprised at how good everything was. Excellent service. Really high quality food fresh and kinda delicious. Like damn. I was just all around pleased at the experience. Nico the owner super nice guy. Staff was solid. Is it free ? No. But the cost is beyond justified. Have you been to fast food? It's not what you think it is. So. You get what you pay for. Definitely will be back. I have a picky group nobody had a bad thing to say. Brisket - excellent! Pulled pork- solid! Serrano Cheddar sausage - excellent! Mushrooms - excellent Green beans - excellent ! Potato salad - excellent ! Mac n Cheese - solid (per my kid). Rice - REALLY GOOD. (Also per my kid) Bread pudding with Rum sauce. - decadent! read more

BBQ Station - Enjoying BBQ Station - Barbeque Near Me - Glendora, California

This is a great spot to check out if you are in the area and in the mood for bbq. The service was great and the inside was clean including the bathroom. Cute decoration inside the bathroom and seating Had the beef brisket (very tender, juicy). Flavor was on point ( no need to add bbq sauce in my opinion). Had the Serrano Cheddar sausage (so good). The BBQ beans had a nice kick of spicy and sweet). Mashed potatoes were delicious. You get to sample whatever your choice of sides that you like. I tasted the Mac n cheese but in my opinion it was watery. The reason why I am giving it a 3 is that our food was warm. And it's expensive. My husband and I shared a plate. Look at receipt read more

Good food. A little pricey but you get some amazing bbq food. We had the brisket and ribs - both were very good.

Came back and it's changed a lot. Maybe I came previously on an off day but it seems like they've worked out the kinks. Good is well prepared, brisket is soft and service was stellar. Having a bbq place in Glendora like this is important. Looking forward to coming back. And get the banana pudding. read more

BBQ Station - Chopped beef, salmon, baked beans and mushrooms were delicious. - Barbeque Near Me - Glendora, California

Our regular place for BBQ was out of ribs by 1pm on Saturday of memorial day weekend, so we decided to stop by for ribs here on our way to San Dimas. The employees were great, the restaurant was clean and samples came our way right away! We taste tested a few sides... ehhh.. We grabbed baked beans, we were looking for a side to go with the ribs. They were not fully cooked, not toothsome, but hard. Weird! I cooked them more, added my own condiments like mustard, brown sugar and apple cider vinegar. We bought 2 and a half racks of ribs, a sausage and some brisket. Meat was cooked great, nice flavor. We were kind of put off by the expense vrs what was included with it. All meat was weighed, fair enough! We spent almost $190 and were given 4 rolls for free? Also a 8oz container of pickles and another with marinated onions. The bbq sauce was self serve and squirted all over the place when pumped out into mini containers. I read reviews and have to agree with others, it's just not worth it. Look at the sign closely, it's all by the quarter pound. $9 for 1 sausage link? This bbq place won't last! Plus the 10.75% tax! Wow... I don't mind paying for good food, I just felt a little slighted here.. 2 stars for the employees who tried hard to sell me what they had, and were nice about it. read more

BBQ Station - Our reciept... my husband and I split it. Outrageous... - Barbeque Near Me - Glendora, California

First time here and saw this place on KTLA news when they did their segment last week. I immediately wanted to go there and it was so yummy. We went on a Sunday around 4pm and it wasn't too busy at that time which was nice. The workers were really nice and talked is thru how we go about ordering. They cut their meat to order that they smoke in these large smokers in the back where the public is able to check out. We got the brisket tray and the ribs. For the brisket tray i got mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese which were all so good and very tasty, also got a side of their potato salad which was also delicious. The brisket was very flavorful, tender and moist! The ribs were fall off the bone, also tender, moist and flavorful! I tried their original sauce and the spicy sauce and i must say that their spicy is my favorite Theres a bar area where you can order alcohol in the same room as some booths and theres another room with tables only so theres a lot of space in this place. Id recommend this place if youre craving bbq. The part owner Nico is very nice and great, amazing customer service. He comes by your table to make sure everything is ok and also told us at that time about 67% of the people who came in mentioned they saw this place on KTLA news! We will definitely come back one day to try some more of the bbq offerings! read more

BBQ Station - Beef Brisket, Pork Ribs, Queso Dip, Mac & Cheese, Potato Salad. - Barbeque Near Me - Glendora, California

Food was good, but GROSSLY overpriced 'dino ribs'. Priced at over $12 per 1/4 pound (which includes the weight of the bone), paid $63+ (through DoorDash delivery) for a 1 1/4 pound single rib bone with bread and pickles. For that price, I would expect to have a ribeye attached. I apologize if that sounds harsh, but that was my experience. Good food, too pricey. read more

Let's start off with location, it's a great location with plenty of parking, the ambiance is awesome, lots of open seating, clean, open with all the food in view. Service the moment we walked in, friendly, attentive, explained everything very well. Appreciated that. The food was good, the sides were all very good, we ordered mushrooms, Mac & cheese, beans, mixed veggies, Potato salad, all very very good our party of 4 adults 3 kids likes them all. Along with the family style meat platter we ordered two pulled pork sliders that the kids ate and they loved them. The ribs were great full of flavor I enjoy a dry rub. The links were great Serrano cheese being the favorite. The brisket was smoked thru, rich in flavor, Tender. Not a single complaint from the table. Lots of bbq sauce to choose from, self serve soft drinks lots of options. The had a lot of different beers on tap as well. Even a Nitro Cold Brew coffee will be back! read more

BBQ Station - 1lbs Brisket, full rack ribs, 4 links, pickles - Barbeque Near Me - Glendora, California

BBQ Station is becoming our new go to spot. The atmosphere inside is really inviting, definitely like a sports bar vibe and there is plenty of seating inside as well as an outside patio with water misters. Staff is super friendly and every time we've gone they've taken out a new brisket and gave us prime slices from the center of the cut. The most important part, the food is delicious. Best smoked brisket I've ever had. It just falls apart as you slice it. Mashed potatoes and gravy are super flavorful and yummy. Tried the potato salad today and I think it's the best I've ever had. You can tell the owners have invested a lot in the building and the smoke house out back. It is a little pricey, but for only a couple bucks more than fast food, it's sooo worth it. read more

I've been wanting to try this new barbecue restaurant in Glendora California. Well, today was the day and I was able to go with my son for lunch. We were immediately greeted once we walked in and since it was Halloween, they provided my son with a goodie bag full of treats. While looking over the menu, I was offered a tasting of the brisket and it was amazing. Because of this sample, I ended up ordering way too much food, but it was definitely worth it. My son was quick to find us a booth that had a great view of one of the multiple TVs they had throughout the restaurant. Now what I ordered was the brisket plate that came with 1/3 pound of brisket and two sides and a dinner roll, for my son I ordered him the brisket taco plate that comes with three tacos, coleslaw, and chips and salsa. Like I said before I ordered more than I could eat I added another half pound of brisket and a corn roll. although I was not able to finish my entire meal, they have plenty of to go boxes to enjoy at home. I didn't want to mention that they have a salsa bar that is stocked with plenty of salsa, pickled onions, onion, cilantro, limes, they also have a sauce bar where they have multiple barbecue sauces with different flavors. I honestly cannot wait to go back and try the other meats that they have available. I can only imagine how tasty those are going to be. read more

BBQ Station is just what Glendora needed. Finally, something that isn't like anything else in our city! Nico, his family, and his team all show pride in everything they do. The smoke house is absolutely stunning! Wow! We tried the pulled pork, salmon, and turkey. All were fabulous and were complimented by your choice of four different BBQ sauces. Try them all! We also tried the potato salad, mushrooms and green beans. While we enjoyed the green beans, the potato salad was just awesome and the mushroom's were excellent. They have several choices for beers on tap too. Dessert was the banana pudding and it was over-the-top great! Glendora has been in need of new restaurants for a while and this place is fantastic. Highly recommend. Prices are more than competitive especially if you consider brisket takes 14 hours minimum to get right! Some people are used to the prices at Dickey's or Lucille's and the par-cooked, liquid smoke infused, doctored mush they serve. BBQ Station is definitely on a much higher level all around! read more

I was at an event here at BBQ Station this past Saturday August 9th. I have to say that the food here is quite amazing! I had the pulled pork, mash potatoes and tangy coleslaw. The staff here is so friendly, warm and welcoming. From the time you place your order until the time you leave, the staff were so pleasant and attentive. They even gave out some free samples, allowing to taste before buying your meal. They even have cherry flavored soda!!!Even though this was an event hosted by a Harley Davidson dealership, I will definitely return to BBQ Station! Amazing place! Did I mention they have cherry flavored soda? If I didn't...They have cherry flavored soda!!! read more

Amazing food! The station tray is a good option and the brisket is the best I've had anywhere. Came on a Thursday at lunch around noon and it was pretty empty. Staff was friendly and plenty of seating. Sauces and sides tasted good. Bbq beans were a little hard. Overall a great place to eat! -1 star for serving size...sides are in small plastic containers not much bigger than sauce containers. For the price it's too small. read more

Great looking building from outside coming in. Lots of space outdoors for large groups. This is a "chow line" type of place. They weigh their meats, so it's a give and take on ounces and it's priced per 1/2 lb on the board-- a little deceiving as the employees don't mention this, but not a deal breaker. Food was decent-- it's not TX bbq, but hey.. we're not in Texas are we!? The brisket is pretty good, tastes like it was freshly made or at least kept hot held warm and juicy. The turkey wasn't bad either. Mac & cheese tasted like velveta and therefore nothing special to me. But if the kids like it then it works for me! Staff was very nice and friendly and eager to help us, offering samples. The smoke house was pretty cool to watch, came on a day when they were literally receiving their firewood for the day. Pretty cool to see it up front! I know this is a new place, so definitely will give this another shot in the near future. read more

The food was OK. I'd stay clear of the dino rib because it's a rip off. They charge by the half pound and I end up paying probably 20 to 30 just for the bone which is a huge. Definitely not worth it. Still clear of any items that have a bone and they charge you for everything and weight definitely won't go back again. read more

We ordered smoked salmon, bbq pork ribs, green beans, mushrooms, Mac n cheese corn bread, peach cobbler & bread pudding. We loved every single item! The smoked salmon was one of the best I've ever had & the mushrooms are incredible! The brisket was sold out -which I think says a lot for how good it is. We tried all of the sauces & really liked them all. They did a great job with the ambiance inside; bright & CLEAN. I was craving a fresh brewed iced tea & would recommend they serve this with BBQ. We will absolutely come back- my boyfriend cannot stop raving about it. We've recommended to friends & they were just as blown away! Meats were cooked to perfection! The mac and cheese was great and I really loved their potato salad. Got to try the turkey as well which had great flavor for a lean meat. We have been looking forward to BBQ Station ever since we first saw the signage that they were moving into the old Sergio's, Bob's Big Boy, etc. building. Eventually we started wondering if they'd ever open, as did many of our friends. Then when they finally did they were so busy that we've been waiting for a chance to go when it wasn't so busy. We finally got our chance this evening and we are so happy we did! The beef brisket was so tender and well seasoned, a pound of it was more than enough for three of us! Cooked to perfection! The potato salad, Cole slaw, corn on the cob, and Mac & cheese were all delicious! We couldn't quite eat it all, so we happily have leftovers for tomorrow! Definitely looking forward to going back to try the salmon and ribs... Got home before we realized we'd forgotten to check out the sauce station, the meat was so flavorful that we didn't even miss it... Next time read more

Upon arrival, I was greeted by the staff and asked if I was picking up an online order. They promptly brought out a large brown bag and I looked around at the clean highly lacquered tables, nicely upholstered seats and booths, and the overall cleanliness and well kept order of the dining area. All ordered meats were packaged in butcher paper and placed inside of heat retaining bags; food was warm to very warm after arriving home; meats were juicy, tender, and flavorful on their own; 4 sauces to choose from(Station Sauce, Carolina Tangy, Cali Habanero(not tried), and Route 66 Sweet) and they are delicious! Well made and balanced flavors; generous amounts of sauces are initially given and extra sauce is available at the self-serve station near the soft drinks; baked beans have meat simmered in with it for extra flavor, mashed potatoes and gravy are creamy with the gravy being a bit salty(I liked it!), pickled onions and sliced pickles are included in small round clear containers for your eating pleasure. The pulled pork and the pork bbq spare ribs were warm, tender, juicy, and flavorful. Whichever sauce you choose to use with the meats is entirely up to you. But all 3 sauces I tried were delicious and balanced. I noticed on the menu board that they offer bread pudding. So that will be on my hit list in my next order. They are only open Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. But those are enough days in the week to enjoy some Central Texas bbq! Highly recommend! read more

Ribs slid off the bone, Brisket was juicy and fell apart, pulled pork, smoked turkey and Salmon and so much good food to choose from. Highly recommend!!
