Love their drumstick chicken original golden. So good! I got the 5 piece with sides of white rice, very yummy! Tried it for the first time and I am a fan. I will be back and with my brother who loves chicken. It is true, Best of the Best Quality Chicken!!! read more

We tried the cole slaw, the corn salad, Soy garlic wings and a whole chicken half original and half secret spice. The two things that really stood out was the moist juicy breast meat (so hard to get right and they did it perfectly. Order it original plain.) And the soy garlic, the first bite made me pause and go huh? but it was cooked perfectly! The fries get honorable mention. They had a nice crispy light crunch. My friend loved the secret sauce. We both felt the half and half secret sauce chicken was covered too heavily in sauce. And where o where is my white rice :( Find your flavor... start with original. I can only imagine kids that are picky eaters will die for the clean fresh perfectly fried original chicken. read more

I wouldn't say the service is better, like the slogan advertises. Gotten orders incorrect or delayed, and don't greet u timely upon arrival. Never offered to make order right or make customer feel valued. But at least food tastes the same. Miss the previous owner read more

This is the kind of local mom and pop shop I normally love supporting. It's great service, great food, great location, no issues on parking or neighborhood, the pricing for the food is wonderful and during lunch specials it's even better! Will be returning as soon as possible read more

Unacceptable. The time is 10:35pm and their yelp page and on their front entrance door states that they closed at midnight. Pulled up to parking lot and by the time we got out of the car, they turned off their open sign. I understand most store have last call but to close the kitchen one hour and thirty minutes is unreasonable early. Maybe it's my fault that I'm hangry late at night but ugh! UGHH! read more

Personally I feel the quality of food and service can be better. I had better experiences at the Fullerton and Tustin location. We had to chase the waiter and ask for every little thing (straws, ketchup for our fries, radish). If you don't ask, they won't give. At the end of our meal, we asked for a to-go container for our radish that we barely touched but wanted to take home. They said we can't take our radish to-go... which I don't understand why. The other bbq chicken locations allowed us to take our leftover radish home AND gave us new containers of radish to take home as well with our leftovers. Probably will not be coming back. read more

This chicken hits so hard. The staff are friendly. We always call ahead and we are always greeted by kindness. The nice customer service is met by good food. I've had other bbq chicken places at different locations, and this place is better than all of them. I'm really glad I live so close to them. I highly suggest the olive oil chicken. This is by far my favorite. I also like the wings. This place is so good. read more

This place nickle and dimes you for every little thing. We asked for a side of hot sauce and it was 2$ We ordered two baskets of chicken and only got ONE very tiny bowl of daikon radish to share between us. We had to buy a plate of cabbage which is usually a complimentary side dish at most fried chicken places. The chicken gets salty without radish and cabbage but they charge you a lot for such cheap ingredients. The water here tastes extremely bad like toilet bowl water. I see why there's togo boxes everywhere right when you walk in they don't seem to like dine in customers. It came out to 42$ for two people to eat. My husband was really upset having to pay for a tiny side of hot sauce, I mean how petty can you be as an establishment? Two stars just because the chicken was good but some banchan would be nice! read more

I've only been to the Tustin and Buena Park locations and both times I've gone the quality is consistent and oh so yummy. Decided to try this location out since they're fairly new and I honestly wish I never did. Placed an order for take out, when I get there the girl at the register is on the phone taking another order so I wait. I had two men ask me if I was picking up and order and gave them my name and all that and they looked at all the orders on their to go table. When the girl gets off the phone, one of the men tell her I'm picking up an order and gave her my name. The girl then looks up and asks me, "Are you gonna pay now or what?" Seriously? You know a simple "Hello" first would have been nice. So I pay her and she doesn't say anything. I asked her if it's ready? She said give them about 15 more mins. So I sit down and Not even 30 seconds sitting down she runs over to me with the very first bag on the table of to go orders. So I questioned why she said 15 mins when my order was already there? She ignored my question and said "Here is your order". I asked her for some plates and utensils in which she repeated back what I was requesting and for how many people. She goes behind the counter and comes back with only 2 forks and 2 chopsticks, for 8 people. No plates, no napkins. While the service here was clearly lacking, I would've forgiven that had the quality of food been the same as the other two locations but it wasn't. Chicken was too lightly sauced, BARELY any flavor. If I'm paying $96 for 3 20 piece boneless chicken, side of radish and side of corn salad (which is basically corn with evap milk that tastes like onion), I'd except the quality to at least be the same but that was clearly too much to ask. read more

Had the golden original, soy garlic and sweet potato fries. Awesome. 20 minutes and on time.

I live by UCLA in the west side so this BBQ location isnt ideal for me. HOWEVER I will drive down to LB to get me some of this chicken! I love the BBQ chicken chain but it seems each location has their own spin on it. The one that use to operate near UCLA closed and I thought I'd never find another location that tasted that good. The ones in DTLA and KTown are decent but idk what the mixture is in my favorite soy garlic wings but this location has the perfect flavor! I'll definitely be coming back for more orders! read more

No phone pick up, called during open hours. Forget about it!! I guess they don't want the business.

I honestly don't know why we went the first time but I just know that we loved it and have been back several times. The chicken is delicious and we have tried several flavors. We also love their onion rings. The only thing keeping me from a five stars is the fact that they don't have a good online ordering process. read more

Disappointed to say the least, nothing like their location in Irvine. They skimp on the fries despite the big box they give it in and chicken pieces are significantly smaller than the average wing. Overpriced as well, won't be going back to this location. read more

Pretty good, great Serivce. We order take out and got the original and spicy for about $25 and I comes with radishes.

I'm a returning customer. I was first introduced to BB.Q Chicken at the Gardena location. I happen to be in Cypress and I happened to stumble across another one of their stores in the chain, but the service here is quite different I got my serving of the honey garlic chicken and a side of rice. The chicken was made somewhat different and my side of rice appeared to be a much smaller portion (-1star). I had to get another side of rice and pay another $1.50 to get it other than that the food was good but the side order of rice should be up another inch higher like the other store if it weren't for that I'll be back at this location but sadly I'm not going to come here for the side of rice but I'll be here just for the chicken. I was serviced by Andy a very nice gentleman and was very welcoming and even offered me a stamp card for return visits. read more

This is a Korean chain chicken place that fries their chicken in olive oil. My wife found it while watching a K-drama and the characters would eat here (in Korea) all the time. Product placement worked. She asked if we can get some of their drumsticks, and it tastes really good. The drums are very crispy, and steaming hot. We also like the gangnam wings. You have to buy them 20-pc at a time, but it is worth it. Other flavors, you can do 10 wings, but it is definitely worth it. It claims to be spicy, but it very mild. Also recommend the honey garlic. No spice at all, and still delicious. They don't allow dine in, but you can order and pick up within 20 mins. read more

This place quickly grew as local's fave. Every few weeks I go for my to-go order (never dined in yet and won't be happening soon due to covid) they had some kind of new upgrades to introduce from add-on menus to drinks and so on. They finally deliver thru food apps but I prefer to still go pick it up myself to get my loyalty stamps. You can earn 5 or 10 pcs of free drumsticks with it. read more

Stopped by yesterday as mine and my husbands favorite Korean wings restaurant is currently closed, we have not been able to find a place that compares in: - taste - friendliness -texture of the chicken - local And I would say this place is pretty good, not as good as our favorite but better than other places we have tried! The gentleman that helped was nice and the restaurant look clean and well kept! I will definitely be coming back until our favorite restaurant opens. read more

Best wings ever! Crispy, juicy, great flavor! Fries were very crispy and soft in the middle. The food came out quick too! Great place

I was pleasantly surprised how tasty and soft their chickens are because having tried other korean chicken, it was never this delicious. I ordered half and half, one is just tried and the other was marinated. They are not sagging nor salty like most chickens I got elsewhere. BBQ chicken-cypress definitely deserves 5 stars. Whatever ingredient they use to make the chicken this soft and crispy definitely works. They also give you stamp every time you buy so once you accumulate certain points, you get free items too. I am willing to try other menu as well. Definitely going back!!! read more

We found our new KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) spot. Some bbq chickens that i have tried in the past were a bit disappointing but this location on the other hand was almost perfect. The batter is not too thick but still crispy. The chicken comes out piping hot so be warned, let it cool for a bit before you dive in (if you can resist! Lol). We got the BB wings and the Golden Drumsticks. We actually didn't know the BB wings didn't come with sauce but it was still delicious! We got the spicy korean sauce on the side and it was amazing. It is definitely one of the better spicy Korean sauce that I have had at a KFC restaurant, if not the best. read more

This chicken is soooo delicious. Grateful they have a location in OC so I don't have to drive to Ktown to get it.

My favorite place to buy wings for my family! My favorite is the Gangnam style wings, my younger sister loves the soy garlic, and my parents prefer the original golden olive. This place is a 20min drive from my house, so it's usually ready by the time we arrive to pick-up our order, and it still stays hot by the time we arrive home. read more

I love this place. The wings and ddukbboki are so delicious and the people are very nice over there. I got some food for a housewarming I was having and everyone loved everything from there as well. Love this place! I go at least 1-3 times a week and never been disappointed. EVERY order has been right, the service its top notch for a family owned place. The spicy chicken sandwich on their lunch menu knocks poppies out of the water obviously. Boneless or bone in, you wont be disappointed. There is a lot more I want to try on their menu. Best to call in your order if its to go. Everything is made fresh and to order so expect to wait 10-15 minutes. P.s. the "Corn Salad" is a great veggie option! read more

Crispy skin with juicy interior. We enjoyed the Wings of Fire, Soy Garlic, and Honey Garlic wings. The flavors were not too salty or too heavy for my taste. The Cheeseling Fries were yums! They're a thick-cut fry with a heavy dusting of real cheese powder. We also got a side of cabbage salad and pickled daikon. Next time we'll ask for half the dressing. I didn't expect it to be Thousand Island. I was hoping for an Asian dressing. I wanted to try the corn salad, but it looked too heavily dressed and didn't come with an option to leave the dressing to the side. Was also looking forward to the stir fried gizzards, but they were unavailable at the time. Looking forward to going back! read more

Finally got to try this place, it was delicious and exceeded my expectations. We got bone in wings, galbi and wings of fire, soooooo yummy! They were still crispy when we got home, I ordered them to go. The sauces are savory and so happy with the choices. Definitely worth the price! read more

When your super finicky daughter tells you she's going to eat all 10 of the wings you ordered for her, you tend to take notice. ABSOLUTELY SUPERB chicken here! My daughter had the SOY GARLIC wings and I, the HONEY GARLIC wings. To be honest, I preferred the honey over the soy. The honey had more of a kick to them and a sweeter flavor profile. However, both gave the perfect crispiness to them. The chicken inside was complimented perfectly by the sauce they used. Our order was simple. 20 wings, 10 for her 10 for me, and a basket of fries. We didn't need the fries. Overall a 5 star food place experience! What a gem to find in my hometown of Cypress! read more
