When your super finicky daughter tells you she's going to eat all 10 of the wings you ordered for her, you tend to take notice. ABSOLUTELY SUPERB chicken here! My daughter had the SOY GARLIC wings and I, the HONEY GARLIC wings. To be honest, I preferred the honey over the soy. The honey had more of a kick to them and a sweeter flavor profile. However, both gave the perfect crispiness to them. The chicken inside was complimented perfectly by the sauce they used. Our order was simple. 20 wings, 10 for her 10 for me, and a basket of fries. We didn't need the fries. Overall a 5 star food place experience! What a gem to find in my hometown of Cypress! read more

Sorry but I forgot to take a before pic because the chicken was so bomb and I can't wait to order it again! read more

BBQ Chicken - Korean Near Me - Cypress, California

Great local spot to just chill, watch basketball play-offs along with baseball and grub! Okay, here's what we sampled: honey garlics boneless, soy garlic wings and GO drumsticks. Everything was super fresh, hot and tasty. Appreciated that food didn't have an oily taste and wasn't drowning h in sauce. Definitely dig the overall vibe. Menu is simple...it's chicken y'allz along with usual sides, a sprinkling of Korean dishes and a good assortment of brew. read more

Hello! Mr. Gnom Nom here with a review for bb.q chicken! I enjoyed their boneless honey garlic chicken because of the breading vs meat ratio and the flavor was delish! I also enjoyed the nice crunch that the chicken had.. just like the french fries! They also serve beer along with a yummy beer snack! This place is certified gnommy! I will be back! #MrGnomNom read more

Excellent service. Faster then time they said it would take. Flavors are so yummy and delightful. Best chicken ive had in a long time.

This review is based on take out since I've never actually eaten inside the restaurant. We've ordered from here twice now and have not been disappointed! The gentleman over the phone gladly took my order in a polite manner and was pleasant to speak to. The food has been top quality--as stated in their name. We've gotten the soy garlic wings, highly recommend, not spicy but crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. We also got secret spicy chicken, and hot spicy chicken. Secret spicy is not spicy at all, and hot spicy chicken is pretty spicy and I'd say it's 4 chili spicy, and not 3 chili, as listed on their menu. Their French fries are good as well. Overall: Satisfied, so we'd definitely be returning. read more

Its unbelievable that there is a place this good in Cypress! The chicken is super flavorful and very moderately priced. All of the sides I tried were good as well. If you are new to Korean Fried Chicken, get the boneless whole chicken half and half. It comes will a sweet glazed and original olive oil flavored chicken. Much better than any american fried chicken chains. I will be back soon! read more

This place is solid and consistent. Love Korean style fried chicken. The soy garlic is good for everyone. The original also legit. Hard to go wrong with fried chicken. You just have to find a flavor that fits your palette. Overall, very solid. I'd you have questions about the flavor, ask them. They are very helpful in telling you what the flavors are like if you are unsure. read more

Just flat out simply awesome chicken. The cashier, Andy, was extremely helpful with picking my selection of chicken. The vast selection of chicken at this establishment was simply overwhelming. After visiting this establishment a plethoric amount of times, I have tried all the chickens. Awesome meat, awesome service, and simply awesome Andy. read more

Amazing food and the sweetest people. So happy I found this place. This is comfort food for me, amazing fried chicken, kimchi fried rice and tteok-bokki. Definitely will be coming back! I never really write reviews but this is worthy of one for sure! read more

We arrived at the store at 11am. We were greeted being the first customer of the day. We ordered 3 Orders of Soy Garlic Chicken and 1 order of Galbi. When we came to the house we were surprised how small the pieces are. Very much different from what we can see from the posts. The chicken were so dry with very little sauce as you can see from the picture. The cut was so thin and rubbery. I strongly believe that these were left overs from the previous day. if I live near their store I would definitely return these. Never ever coming back to this store. Worst Bb.q chicken i tasted!!! read more

BBQ Chicken - Soy Garlic Chicken - Korean Near Me - Cypress, California

True gem in Cypress! I had the soy garlic lunch special and it was so good. This place is a definitely worth checking out.

this place sucks balls, as I entered the place it was totally empty with one person at the front of the register so I waited behind her to place an order for takeout but, upon waiting I realized she's not ordering food or anything she and the manager were having a full blown conversation so I waited trying not to be rude, 5 minutes past by and still no acknowledgment whatsoever and not only that another customer arrived with her little daughter to I'm sure, order for take out as well. Well it didn't take to long for the other customer to leave but I still waited in line to order some food (and I had a big order) so I just grabbed a menu trying to break up this full blown conversation but it paused their conversation for a bit they both looked at me and pro to keep talking so after 10-15 minutes later I left I ended up going to Ralph's put in an order and walked away happy with the big order and 4 pieces of their ribs.... thank you Ralph's read more

The chicken is good (bbq chicken is a massive franchise), but this location is CHEAP and they skimp on the radish... they charge a DOLLAR for this tiny little plastic cup of pickled radish... every other korean fried chicken place offers that for free... the owners of this place baffles me read more

Okay, anyone who hasn't given this place 5 stars is crazy! Order the plain and get dipping sauces on the side. Boneless, bone-in, secret spicy, gang-jeong, honey garlic, soy garlic, can't go wrong. I just moved around the corner from this place and now consider myself a regular. So good! read more

Noticed this place a few weeks ago and have been excited to try it. Wasn't disappointed. The Golden Olive original boneless was amazing - perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. The soy garlic wings were very tasty as well. I was surprised that I was given a salad and crackers to start. Loved everything and can't wait to come back! And bonus: they are open until midnight (Sundays until 11p) so I still have time to eat here even after a late work day. read more

BB wings from BBQ Chicken is my absolute favorite. I was so happy that this location in Cypress opened up as the drive here is a lot friendlier than the drive down Beach Blvd for the Buena Park location. The quality and taste of the wings were the same, but to my disappointment, they were were a lot smaller in size. I have togoed from this location about two times now, and both times, the wings were on the smaller side. I was hoping that maybe it was their off-day the first time, but no... :( My husband and I normally finish the 20 piece together and get full off of them. However, we were left feeling dissatisfied after eating the 20 piece from this location, even with the extra side of coleslaw that we had ordered (the coleslaw costed $4 and was smaller than an average rice bowl). With their wings being on the pricier side at $1 per piece, you would expect them to be a bit meatier. read more

I'm giving these guys 4 stars but I have some "bones" to pick...lol. They nickel and dime you for everything and that is a pet peeve of mine when dining. For instance, we order fries and onion rings...they are delivered...we wait for a good 5 minutes and no sauces are brought for our sides. We go to the counter to ask and they bring us those little ceramic dishes about the size of a shot of whiskey full of ketchup. Really? Rationing ketchup in a fried chicken joint? Dude...gimme the freakin' bottle and I'll bring it back! Sodas are $2 but refills are $.50. Really? Raise your price to $3 and gimme unlimited refills! It's a fried food joint...what goes best with fried food??? Coke! We ask for napkins the guy hands me exactly 3 (cuz there is 3 of us). Again, FRIED FOOD is greasy and messy and you are rationing the napkins too? Put a dispenser on each table and let people use as many as they like...what could that possibly cost you? Anyway, annoyances aside...the chicken is really tasty and finger lickin' good! I think if I ate here again I would order to go so I can have as much ketchup and napkins and soda as I want at home! I hope your visit is better... the chicken really is worth the stop. read more

Really good korean wing restaurant. Located in a small unassuming plaza with tons of parking. The soy garlic wings and french fries was bombbb! The only thing that was disappointing was the spicy wings. The batter on that chicken was a bit heavy and tasted like regular american style fried chicken compared to the soy garlic ones plus it was not spicy enough for mr. Will definitely return again for the soy wings! read more

This place is bomb! The chicken wings are absolutely delicious. My family orders from here on a weekly basis . Here's what I've tried: Olive chicken - this is the flavor that doesn't have sauce on it but the batter itself has a nice savory flavor to it. Really great crunch. Soy garlic wings - my favorite. Must try! Honey garlic - yummy as well! Has a sweetness to it Gangnam wings - really good flavor. Tastes like a black bean sauce. read more

We always order the Olive drumsticks and the honey garlic wings and we never have any leftovers because they're so good! The batter is always fresh and crispy and the meat has been consistently moist and juicy. Sometime we'd order the cheese tteokboki and those are just splendid. We have yet to try other flavors but we will do so in the future since we will be back whenever we feel like good fried chicken that actually makes us feel good (and less guilty) about eating fried food. read more

EAT HERE GUYS!!!! Decided to drop in for lunch, just to check this local spot out. The Dduk Bokki (spicy fish cakes) were to die for good!!! A great starting appetizer for the table, and will leave you fighting for the last piece! We got a lunch special 6pc boneless spicy hot with fries and a drink, and an order of 10pc boneless honey garlic. Both were delicious and we had plenty of leftovers (aka no need to make dinner). Service was great, friendly staff. Plenty of different beers to try, and 2 TV to watch local games on. Definitely coming back! read more

Our first time and will be our last at this location. The food was ok as the fried chicken was not crunchy. The service was on the cheap side. Being finger food we only get couple of napkins and had to repeatedly asked for more. We ask for a to go box and did not get a bag for the box. read more

um hi big fan!! yea can we get some michelin stars up in here?? not only is the chicken absolutely top notch eVERY time but i think i'm addicted to the fries :(( i will always choose soggy over crispy bUT they have managed persuade me with these BANGIN' potatoes and it's perfect crispy shell :((((((( thank you always for the amazing service (and andy!!!) read more

I always wanted that a "Korean" fried chicken place is closer to home because I always drove to Fullerton/Garden Grove for it. I checked this place and I honestly think this place has more authentic Korean sauce flavor than other places. Both fried and sauced chicken were great and I could tell that the oil is fresh and clean. If you are around this area, I really recommend trying out half and half combo. Secret spicy has spicy level 1 but it's not spicy at all. read more

Came here by accident and man was this the best accident ever...wings are bomb still crunchy even though I drove 20 min home and didn't eat it 10min after I got home. Thought I'd give it a try, bad idea. This is not a vegetarian friendly place, but the staff is friendly at least and the place is very clean. I love fried chicken and they cook it perfectly. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. They have only been open for a month so they are still on a learning curve but they make up for any minor glitches with helpfulness and great tasting food. I have had the original chicken, one as whole pieces and most recently the bites. As other's have stated, the chicken is so hot, moist and juicy with a light crispy crust. Once you try it you will be hooked, and be a repeat customer just like me. read more

Omgoodness, this place is amazing. Anyone who knows me knows I don't eat chicken wings ever, but I think it's because chicken wings have never been prepared like this. I was actually upset that my husband ordered mine without making it boneless, but I took a bite and it was soooooo good. So good that we ordered another order to take home. And I am bringing my friend here tomorrow for lunch. And it's National Beer Day today so Sapporo on tap was just a bonus. Seriously, folks. Come and try it. It's worth the price and it's worth the wait. read more

This review is long overdue and my apologies to the staff for taking so long. We've been coming here since the beginning and have never been disappointed. Andy (the kid) a recent Cypress High grad is basically the face of the family business and I can say I've never met such a hardworking working young man. The food is on point on point every time. We've tried other Korean Chicken places but nothin ever compares so we've stopped looking. I recently discovered that eating there takes the food up a notch as it is a fresh and crispy as anyone could want. Keep up the good work! read more

I tried variety of chicken and everything tasted so good. Garlic chicken and spicy chicken were good but it was a little to spicy for me. Best of all, original fried chicken was the best. The inside meat was tender and outside skin was very crispy. It took a while to cook because they started cooking from scratch, but it definitely worth waiting. read more

This place makes me want to write a review immediately after eating their food! We ordered take out for the spicy boneless chicken 20 pieces for $22.99. We were warned it's super spicy but we love spicy food so we took the chance. It took about 20-25 minutes for them to cook it. If you want take out and you're in a hurry, I would call ahead so they can get it started. You can also drop by Albertsons that's in the same shopping complex to pick up a few things while you wait too. It came with some extra sides like pickled daikon I believe? I could be incorrect on that one but it's fresh and delicious. Yes the spicy chicken is really spicy! But if you love spicy food then you'll love this! If you don't even remotely enjoy spicy food, your mouth will burn eating this and it lingers on your tongue and lips. I really loved it and will definitely come back since I was eyeing the garlic boneless chicken too. It's marinated to perfection and cooked just right. The sauce is the star for sure. Stop by for sure! read more

If we tried that we could be Somewhere the climate is warm, long as you around me I swear that everything will be just fine I wish that we could take some time at..bb.q chicken! - Jeremih (oui) Looks like a family owned restaurant and the soy chicken wings were pretty awesome. They were cooked to order and I could feel the steam coming from the box. For anyone that is coming in late: They say they close at midnight but when I arrived a little after 11, they said in a nice way that I had to take it to go. If it was past 1130 I would completely understand but it wasn't. It's possible because it was a Saturday night, they wanted to go home earlier so yeah. Other than that, the food is great but you have to eat these wings fresh so eat at the restaurant if you can :) read more
