DeGusto's is relatively new and is a hidden Diamond in the rough. Sadly there usually aren't many people at the food court all the times I have been there. My kids ordered the Fried Chicken Combo that is the best value. You get a fried chicken sandwich, fries and a soda for $9.99 which is a great value. I got the 6 piece tenders combo with fries and I also got a side of onion rings as I love onion rings. The combo also came with a can soda. AND my favorite part was that they sent carrots and celery with my order. The carrots and celery was delicious!! They were very fresh and yummy!. The onion rings were delicious!!! They were crispy and the onions were soft in the middle. That way when I bit into the onion rings, they were perfectly cooked. I hate it when I bite into an onion ring and the onion gets pulled out so that the rest of the onion ring is just the breading. These were delicious and so well cooked!! The fries were disappointing as they were soggy. But they did come nicely seasoned. I just wish they were a bit more crispy. Now the main dish.... The chicken tenders!!! They were omg so freaking delicious that I was totally shocked and pleasantly surprised. The chicken was tender and the breading omg.... The breading I have no idea what they put on it but it was sooooo crispy. It tasted almost like they had broken up tater tots and added them to the breading. Honestly these were the best chicken tenders that I have ever had. Yes they had me drooling. It was also packaged very well so that everything was delivered got and delicious!! Overall, this is definitely becoming my place to order chicken tenders and onion rings. :)

The person taking our order was very cordial. Unfortunately, my anticipation quickly turned to disappointment. I spent a couple of years working in Hawaii, and as far as I am concerned, a good mac salad can almost be a meal by itself. This one was an epic fail. It had very little flavor, contained a lot of shredded carrots, and was oddly chewy. My spouse was shocked when he saw that I had not finished it. The only reason I finished the sliders was because of the buns and spicy mayo. When I asked my spouse what he thought of the chicken katsu, he simply said it was not good. I try not to write negative reviews, but we paid more than $50 for two meals, and as we talked about the food afterward, neither of us could come up with anything positive to say about it.

Since we ordered online, I cannot comment on their parking, seating, or service. Carne asada tacos 1.5/5, this was sadly a complete miss :( the tacos themselves had minimal flavoring and tasted bland throughout. They came with some green salsa which was fine but also with lemons?? as opposed to limes? Really good reviews from a food truck?! There's no way. Curiosity got the best of me. We got 2 guacamole tacos (one chicken, one asada), one cheese taco (asada), and one regular large taco (chicken), with an order of esquite, and 2 Cokes. Order was placed with the DoorDash app (even though I was parked right next door) and waited less than 30 minutes for my order to be ready. I highly recommend the large hand-pressed guacamole tacos with asada. AMAZING. I would drive out here (about one hour) for these tacos, again. The esquites was good. More lime than I'm used to, but not bad actually. I liked it. Also, the green salsa? REALLY good. Add it to your taco! I get the hype. I look forward to coming back here and trying out other menu items.

The jambalaya and gumbo were the best items I ordered today (11/11). I will definitely order these again. They were the best I ever tasted. Perfectly seasoned with high-quality meats, and very good. It's the best I've ever tasted. I've only had commercialized gumbo and jambalaya at chain restaurants. I didn't order any grilled meats. I anticipate the grilled meats being tasty because I tasted some of the meat in my gumbo and jambalaya at it was good and cooked to perfection. The sides were disappointing and I will not order again: Mac and Cheese: A little dry. Too much salt, too much unmelted cheese. Lacked a creamy inside. The bottom and top were just globs of unmelted cheese. Will not order again. Collard Greens: Tasted bland as if from a can. Mixed with spinach and mainly tasted like spinach. Will not order again. I added the greens to my gumbo so I didn't waste them. Let's be clear, the greens weren't horrible. I grew up picking and eating freshly picked collards so I have high standards for greens. Red Beans & Rice: Beans were cold and tasted like they were from a can. Not the Louisiana red beans and rice I was expecting at all. Rice was undercooked with a slight crunch. I added the rice to my gumbo when I reheated it on the stove. I will figure out what to do with the beans. Customer service was good. The lady was very attentive and went above and beyond to ensure every customer was taken care of. She even gave out peanut butter cookies while we waited. Bring your patience as this is a small-scale (lean) food-service establishment. I spent $30 for 2 half orders of gumbo and jambalaya ($10 each), and 3 sides. I probably could have saved a few dollars if I ordered a veggie plate. It was a little pricey for the portion sizes. I charge it to the gumbo and jambalaya which was $10 each and served in 8oz containers. I usually pay $8 for 12oz or 16oz of soup. On a positive note, I got to sample the menu. I know what I like and don't like. I don't expect to like every menu item at any restaurant. Bottomline, I will go again.
