The place is basically open to the public 24/7, the cameras half work, and anyone from the homeless encampment outside can just walk right on in without even so much as an alarm. No code needed. They can roam around picking locks, reaching OVER your storage wall to gain access to your unit, and they'll even do it with customers on site because you can't tell if they have a unit or not. Wasn't like this before Covid. I thought having a police station around the corner would help, but you can walk there faster than it takes for them to respond. Everything was fine until it wasn't. Now, I just can't recommend it at all.

This company will not tell you what is happening so you can choose a different location or better protect your belongings. Call SFPD to understand how severe the problem is before putting any of your belongings here. If you try to contact corporate, the only path leads to District Manager Curtis M., who will not call you back, despite countless promises from the company that he will do it within 24-48 hours. Customer service will hang up on you when you call to find out what is happening and why Curtis won't return calls. It is a constant cycle of inaction with this company that makes the robbery experience 100x worse. If you have belongings here, check if they are still in your unit and add a secondary insurance policy to protect yourself if you can afford it. This company will do nothing to inform you what is happening, improve security of your belongings, or take any accountability at all. If you are thinking about moving into this location, strongly reconsider. This company deserves negative stars and should not be allowed to do business in San Francisco. I encourage anyone impacted by this string of robberies to contact the office of SF City Attorney David Chiu to share their story about this company and this location.

I've called them three times and stopped by three times and the answer is always the same, "All billing issues have to go through corporate, but I've sent our manager there an email and she'll get back to you tomorrow." 88 days later? NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON has called, emailed, sent a carrier pigeon, nothing. That's nothing to say of the super restrictive hours they keep when you're able to access YOUR own unit. Totally ridiculous, this is nothing but a corporate cash grab spot and as long as your payment clears they'll provide ZERO level of customer service. If you're looking for storage options in SF you're better off anywhere else. Literally, just leave your stuff in the street.

He understands that people who are moving are stressed and anxious and need reassurance. I was concerned that the crew that moved us would be inflexible and would set about doing the work in their own way while my wife and I were set off to the side. And they were very efficient but they also checked in with my wife and myself about how certain things like sculpture and artwork or fancy ceramics should be packed. The three guys who moved our stuff were Julio, Cesar and Arturo. They did a great job of communicating with us, of responding to our questions, of taking care of all the issues that we hadn't anticipated. Altogether they did a really fabulous piece of work.
