We were having low water pressure across our whole house and we had plumbers inspect in the past but couldn't find anything, and still charged us for diagnosis. I came across Dan in the oddest place possible - a recommendation on Reddit for Bay's best affordable plumbers. Dan came out the next day and spent 2 hours diagnosing our problem, and confirmed it was our water heater causing issues. He also replaced one of our faucets with poor flow due to calcification with his own faucet. At the end of everything, he charged a very reasonable rate (granted how long he spent working here) and I'm confident to recommend him to anyone in the San Jose area looking for a plumber. read more

We had issues turning back on our main water valve after Best Buy's Geek Squad replaced our dishwasher. The Geek Squad agent recommended we call a plumber to have our main valve replaced. Bay Rooter came by our house and with two rotations of the valve were able to start our water flow. Had a minor emergency with the hot water line to bathroom sink. Called Handy Rooter & Plumbing and Trieu answered (no waiting). After explaining my problem, he assured me that he can fix it. Within one hour from initial call, he was at my house and with proper tools, he fixed my problem in less than 10 minutes. Both owner and their main man Martin were very professional and courteous. They took all the necessary COVID related precautions. They arrived on time, helped us select the right kitchen faucet from HomeDepot, and did a wonderful job of installing faucet and cleaning up mold underneath the kitchen sink. I had a broken water pipe under my driveway and live in San Rafael. One plumbing company wanted to run the pipe up into and over the top of my garage the other plumbing companies wanted me to start by spending $300 to have a trench-less guy come scope the pipe before they'd come out. (why if it's broken, is PVC and they were going to have to replace it)? Found Israel on a Sunday morning, he answered his phone. Monday he was here and went to work with a plan to keep the pipe on the ground. At 6PM he had finished cutting through the bottom of my driveway installed a new copper pipe to replace the broken PVC one, cemented the 4" seam he had removed,and laid the grass back down. He was efficient, left the place like he found it, (minus the broken water pipe) and courteous. I would recommend him highly to anyone who has a broken pipe or smaller plumbing needs. read more

If I ever need a plumbing service this is the first place I will go to. Dan was the most amicable person I have met in all the home related repairs and service experience I have had till date. He not only explained everything to us in a clear and concise manner but was very thorough in his job and ensured that the clog was completely clear. Since it was not possible to extract the clog with just a snake he had to cut the pipe remove all the contents, vacuum the pipe stub entering the main line and then rejoin the pipe. I am a landlord and I make sure that our tenants always have prompt and great service. My tenant's toilet and shower in all bathrooms are clogged; can not be flushed and toilet waste is coming out.
