They don't have a liquor license but they serve beer, wine and frozen margaritas, which aren't bad but they're officially "wineritas" because they don't have tequila in them. But my wife likes them. The interior space is pretty nice, especially the Eastern room. But some of the booths are old and really need new cushions in them. I'm hoping they invest in this place when the new, nearby community opens up and they gain new patrons. If it improves, we'll come here more often. It has potential. That said, we were disappointed on this visit. The waiter literally pulled something out of my drink with his fingers before serving it to me, hoping I wouldn't notice. Who does that? If something's fallen into it, just take it back to the kitchen and get another one. Don't dip your fingers into guests' drinks. Please. The guacamole was interesting. Just unseasoned, mashed up avocado. No onion. No serrano peppers. Little to no salt or lime. Diced tomatoes were served on the side (as not to water down the guac), and it was served over shredded iceberg lettuce. I did taste fresh. And there was salt on the table if you wanted it. I guess I just expected it to be more prepared. It would have been a nice respite from the heat if our meal was spicy. But we've never had anything there that was spicy.

Maybe not as enormous a spread as you'll find at one of the large Austin Brazilian steakhouses, but all the key things you'd want are there: smoked salmon, boiled shrimp, caprese salad, charcuterie, and some unexpected surprises in the hot section, including BBQ ribs and an amazing feijoada. I'll be back soon for just the salad bar for lunch! And if you're not in the mood for all-you-can-eat meat, they also have a bar menu with lighter fare like a picanha sandwich, along with other specialties carried over from their food truck experience. The caipirinhas were perfect -- both the classic and the passionfruit. We also got a sample of their sangria, which was excellent. But the highlight was really the service. Samira, one of the owners, works the bar and visits with guests. She's super-friendly and clearly cares deeply about both the business and the community. Our waiter -- sorry, I didn't catch his name -- was warm and friendly, with exactly the right amount of attentiveness. And the whole team serving the meats and sides contributed to the experience. Exquisite dining experience, with small-town, personal warmth. And all of it for roughly $10-20 less per person than you'd expect to spend at a comparable Brazilian steakhouse in Austin. They have redone the bar area and it looks very elegant when you walk in. This was our first visit there and we were glad that the manager came to our table to explain the menu to us. It can get a little confusing. They started out by bringing french fries and some fried strips of potatoes to our table. After our drinks came, they came to take our order. You can get the feast, which includes the salad bar and all of the meats they bring around to your table. Or you can just get the salad bar for a lot cheaper, and there are more than enough items on there for a full dinner, just not the meat selection. The drink I ordered was a strawberry caipirinha and it was delicious. You start out with the salad bar which is really a little misleading because there's way more on there than your typical salad bar. When you are finished with the salad bar, you turn the little card they give you to the green side up and they start coming around to your table with the different variety of meats. Some of them I liked, some of them not as much, but that's the fun thing about it - getting to try all of the different flavors. The servers were all friendly but I did have a hard time understanding some of them when they were telling me which type of meat they were serving. The place was packed and there was quite a line when we left so I highly recommend having a reservation, especially on the weekends. It is fairly pricey but worth it for a nice night out.
