I was a customer of Dave's and was disappointed to see that they had been taken over by B Street. However, I found the new shop to be very clean, attractive, modern (but with cool old automotive signs) and spacious, and the people are just as friendly and professional. The work got done as fast as possible and they took care of dealing with my insurance company when my insurance company was dropping the ball. I HOPE I never have to come back, since that means something bad has happened to my car but I would not hesitate to return to B Street - Irvington if that was the case. RECOMMENDED!

They're really fast so I just work from the lounge and enjoy the complimentary pop and snacks, and whatever daytime tv is on. Last visit I came in, and they suggested I get my brakes done. Jeff the sales manager had the issue taken care of, supposedly. Long story short they are out $21,000 cost of vehicle and repairs. Cameron was super great to work with, as was all of the staff we have been in contact with since! While bringing our vehicle around front after our final inspection and wash, both Cameron and the service employee noticed something weird happening with the breaks. We ended up buying the vehicle, but leaving it there until Monday when someone in service could take a better look at it. They fixed the issue free of charge, and we were able to pick it up on Tuesday. Then, after driving about only 75 miles, the check engine light came on. We called Cameron and explained what was going on, and he told us to bring it back in. We dropped it off last night and just picked it back up tonight, and after fixing it they didn't charge us a thing. This is a complete 180 from the last dealership we bought a vehicle from, and it is so refreshing! We truly feel like we can trust anyone at Sid Dillon, and will definitely continue to give them our business! They worked with us to make things right, and it is evident they truly care about the happiness of the customer.

To come to the point - I went to Gateway on the opposite end of town from me, to look at another vehicle that ended up not being a good match for me, but, next to it was a Honda Pilot, little older, with some miles. Vehicle had some moderate work done yet, Ben offered this information without my even asking. Try getting THAT somewhere else!!! Perfect vehicle for my needs. Love it! Now it's time to talk money and I meet Ben, the co-owner and main sales force. The vehicle seemed to need a couple minor things to help make me comfortable with the purchase, and these were done, WITH a LOANER car, thanks to Ben. Dave at the front counter is Ben's right hand man, and very capable. Every employee I bumped into or interacted with at Gateway was at minimum professional, and as I understand it they are all ASE certified! Between them all, the agreed minor repairs were completed, my full smile installed, deal struck. A good deal. In closing, now many hundreds of miles later, my vehicle is running and behaving perfectly. I bought this at a fair price and Dave and Ben did what they said they would do, and did so respectfully and promptly. While I was changing it, the scissor jack failed and tore the vehicle's lift point. The spare then failed as it inflated. After a three-hour roadside ordeal, the car was towed to the Lincoln dealership under Mercedes-Benz policy. Lincoln replaced the tire under warranty but refused to address the jack damage because we bought the vehicle in Omaha. They wouldn't even discuss repair options or costs. The next day I drove the damaged G63 to Omaha, frustrated and fully expecting another runaround. The first person I saw was Andrew. He had never met me and didn't know why I was there. He walked up and asked, "How can I make your day?" That one question changed everything. He listened to the whole story. He also stopped mid-conversation to call one of his team members, who had already left for the weekend, to inform him a unique situation would be waiting for him first thing Monday. The service advisor asked if he needed to turn around...neither of them had to do or offer what they did. But they did it anyway..! Our Service advisor kept us informed every step of the way: the process, the repairs, and the time needed. Their engineers and technicians worked out how the damage happened in the first place, confirming the jack had failed. They ordered new parts, painted them, and installed them perfectly. It looks like it never happened. Truly restored my confidence and I will continue to rely on Andrew and his staff for our future needs for my wife's current and future Mercedes-Benz AMGs. Great job guys..!!! I wish I could give you 6 or 7 stars.

1-Star Review - I Feel Completely Cheated by Omaha Mercedes-Benz…read more I never expected to write something like this about a Mercedes-Benz dealership, but Omaha Mercedes-Benz absolutely betrayed my trust. I paid $61,500 for a Sprinter van, believing I was purchasing a reliable Mercedes vehicle from a reputable dealer. Instead, I ended up with a van that was defective from the very first day. Even during the purchase, I should have noticed the red flags. The buying experience was almost too easy--effortless. They were extremely quick to push the sale through, even though I live all the way in Southern California. Now it's painfully obvious why: they wanted to get rid of this van as fast as possible. And they succeeded--at my expense. At 7,546 miles, the van was already showing the same issues I'm dealing with today. I didn't recognize it at the time--this was my first diesel van, and I trusted the dealership. I trusted the Mercedes name. I assumed they wouldn't sell a defective vehicle. Fast forward a little over one year, and now at 40,000 miles, the van has a major transmission failure involving the torque converter. Multiple service advisors told me the same thing: A torque converter does NOT fail at 40,000 miles unless the issue was already there. These components typically last around 200,000 miles. So what does that mean? That the van had a serious, pre-existing defect, and it was sold to me anyway. I feel cheated, misled, and taken advantage of. I gave this dealership my trust and over $61,000 of my hard-earned money, and all I got in return was a defective van and a massive financial and emotional burden. Omaha Mercedes-Benz should be ashamed of this. This is not how you treat customers. This is not how you uphold the Mercedes-Benz brand. If you're thinking about buying a vehicle from Omaha Mercedes-Benz, be extremely careful. I learned the hard way that an "effortless" purchase can be a sign that they're just trying to unload a problem vehicle on someone else. Don't let it happen to you.

I stopped by this shop with a live person who answered the phone and the woman came out and gave me an estimate for repairs in less than 10 minutes. She was so kind and explained what was needed. The lady who hit me asked for another estimate. I went to another shop later in the day and the estimate was 30% higher!!

However, I must admit that the actual service failed to live up to this billing in any way shape or form. I went there to get an estimate on some body damage on my bumper. The woman working there informed I would need an entirely new bumper for some relatively minor damage, and I thought this was odd given three body shops in town had told me it was clearly repairable without replacement. She gave me an estimate that is literally 68 percent higher than that I received at two other Omaha body shops. When i told her that, she said, 'Well you better get in line there as fast as you can then,' and 'We couldn't even paint it for that.' To me, this is a blatant admission that you charge much more than other and are more than willing to admit to their potential customers before sending them out the door. I just don't understand that business strategy. To top it off, this woman was extremely rude and seemed like she could take or leave my business. With so many other body shops in Omaha, you'd think they'd want to acquire more clients by treating them nicely, but obviously this is not a priority of West Omaha Auto Body. The reviews are good (at least four of them) on Yelp, but I've since been told endless horror stories about dealing with them when I went to find a better price and a business that cared about my needs. I would urge you to seriously consider your options wholeheartedly when considering using West Omaha Auto Body. I don't want to be treated like my money and car doesn't matter, nor do I want other patrons to be given the same treatment.
