Low quality repairs for highest possible price. Refused to match panels they said were like that before even with evidence otherwise. Was met with sarcasm and attitude. Repair was done successfully at another shop with ease and professionalism read more

After receiving a call from B Street regarding my service, I'm amending an earlier review and raising it from 4-star to 5-star. (I thought it odd that a repair/replacement of a liner surrounding a tire didn't require the removal of the wheel, but it apparently doesn't.) I was a customer of Dave's and was disappointed to see that they had been taken over by B Street. However, I found the new shop to be very clean, attractive, modern (but with cool old automotive signs) and spacious, and the people are just as friendly and professional. The work got done as fast as possible and they took care of dealing with my insurance company when my insurance company was dropping the ball. I HOPE I never have to come back, since that means something bad has happened to my car but I would not hesitate to return to B Street - Irvington if that was the case. RECOMMENDED! read more

Dave's/B-Street was great to work with. They dealt directly with the insurance company in regards to changes in the repair estimate and I had to do very little. They also seamlessly handled another related repair a few weeks after I got the vehicle back. Garret and team kept me updated every step of the way during the repair process. The repairs needed were extensive but you can't even tell the vehicle had repairs performed by looking at it. Exceptional quality/workmanship. Will definitely go back when I have future need of body repairs. read more

Went this AM as my front passenger door seal/weatherstrip basically came off. When they started their estimate, they looked at it for 30 seconds and just put it back by hand and said likely wear and tear and to get the special auto glue if it falls off again. Price = FREE. Great service and very much appreciate that they made an effort to fix something when they likely could have billed me. I asked about 2 other issues I had and plan to schedule a time to bring the car back for those to be looked at. read more

I was in a Car Accident which leads me to my experience with Dave's Auto Body and this review. This company was chosen by State Farm and after my vehicle was not driveable, they sent a tow truck and took it away to Dave's. Everything was perfect. The communication was great if not more than I needed. The quality of the repairs were impressive. My Entire front end was redone and I cant even notice a difference between what was fixed and what was not. Lifting the hood and looking under the tires it all still looks factory even under the bolts. They even almost to the point of detailed the inside of it for me as well. Kudos and what a great job they did. If I ever need body work Dave's is for sure where I will go again. read more

They did a fantastic job on my car. Very professional, efficient and friendly. Highly recommend!

Not happy with the repair of my car. I had really high expectations as Daves was ranked 2nd in best of Omaha. LOTS of things were missed and I think they just tried to slop the car together as fast as they could to get the $$. Gaps on body panels were incorrect, lots of paint imperfections, car was returned very dirty ( New car that was only 4 months old ) , pieces missed. The car has gone back to the body shop many times and it still has to go back again for things they missed. Maybe they were good when it was actually Daves auto body but B street did a terrible job. read more

This was the 2nd time I have taken a vehicle to Dave's and I could not have been more pleased. The body work and paint were perfect. It is a pearl paint and matched beautifully. The vehicle was even ready a day early. I would highly recommend this body shop to anyone. Steve B. read more

Dave' Auto Body in Omaha is recommended without hesitation!! Jumping too quickly into my Ford F-250 to chase down a new puppy that had escaped our garage, I hit my knee (ouch!) on the corner of the driver's door and curled it back about a half inch. I received four quotes from collision centers who wanted to charge from $1200 to $1700 to refinish the ENTIRE DOOR and blend things into the adjacent rear passenger door - lots of clear-coat for such a small area of damage. I balked at this, not wanting to make a major repair out of something I saw as a small job. But in each case, the collision centers I initially visited wouldn't listen to me, nor would they warrant limiting the job to just the small damaged area involved. And then I visit Dave's. Lyle was my representative and he was simply awesome! "Why make this a big deal?", he said. And he agreed that the fix could be quite simple. Charging me only $160, his team bent the curved part of the door back to its OEM standard and then air brushed the slight paint crack in the finish. Problem solved!! Hats off to an organization that listens to its customers and does exceptional work. You won't be unhappy with the quality of their work. And they treat their customers like a true family-owned business. Go to Dave's. You'll be happy!! read more

Hit a deer with my 2008 Honda Accord. Already had two hail claims on it and 200K miles, so no comprehensive insurance and I'd have to pay to fix it. I didn't need it to look new, but at least get the headlight replaced and fix the fender and hood functional. Took it to a shop that advertises all the time, explained my situation and they told me $5K to fix. Took it to another that I've always taken my insurance claims to and they said $3-4K. THEN I took it to Dave's Auto Body and Lyle quoted me $1,600. There was a chance there could be more once they opened the hood, he said - I thought "Oh, here it comes..." but he said no more than $200 additional. I was kind of doubtful after talking to the other shops, but I said OK. Dropped it off on Tuesday with a promise to get it by Friday. Lyle called THURSDAY MORNING, said it was ready and no additional charge from the quote. Went to get it and - as expected - a small part of the hood has a small kink but there is a LOT less body damage than I expected. Honestly, it looked great. Lyle said the shop took it as kind of a challenge to see what they could do for the money and they were pretty impressed with themselves as well. Of course, I'm worse off that I was a week before in that I've got damage to my car and I'm out $1,600. BUT I LOVE THIS SHOP. They will get all of my business from now on. Thanks, guys (and Lyle)! read more

Having to take your car into the shop is never something people look forward to, but Dave's Auto Body makes it as good as it can be. I have worked with multiple employees at this shop and every time I am treated respectfully and feel completely confident in the services being provided at a reasonable price. It's nice to go someplace and not worry about being taken advantage of. Feels like family. Wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

I needed a very small repair to my passengers side mirror so was looking for a small body shop. Found these guys from googling. Not a small body shop and very busy so I thought they wouldn't really want my small repair. I was attended to within minutes. Estimate was $360. The man helping me, I believe it was Lyle, thought that sounded steep and asked if he could find a recycled mirror would I be interested? Definitely. he made a couple calls and found me one. Took my estimate down to $220! Only took a couple hours to fix. Then I pick up my car and it's $140 and it's SPOTLESS?!?!?! Vacuumed , washed, dusted?!?! Being a single female I'm so used to being treated like I'm an idiot at any place that has to do with cars, being lied to, scammed, etc. Not here! Treated with utmost respect, treated like I'm important, went above and beyond to save me money. My mind is blown with this business! I'm so glad I found this place! I'll never go anywhere else. I kinda want to damage my car some more just so I can go back and be treated so nice! read more

Brought my car in after it was backed into by a giant van T.T The employees were really friendly and helpful, calling the insurance companies and getting me a rental car very quickly. Compared to some other body shops I went to in Omaha to get an estimate, this place was very professional and businesslike. They ended up replacing my car door in a week, and it came back looking like new! I'll have to see how it holds up in the months to come, but Dave's has a lifetime warranty on their repairs, so if something comes up they should be able to take care of it. Only con is that this place is about a 25 minute drive from Omaha proper. read more

I will recommend Dave's auto body to everyone! They took such great car of me (and my car)! They dealt directly with the insurance companies and even offered to arrange a rental car. They finished my car in the exact time they originally told me even though they found additional damage! I'm very impressed with the level of customer service! The best part? My car looked brand new after they washed and detailed it!! Thanks Daves!! read more

This place is amazing! They did awesome work on my Jetta, in a very short amount of time. My car looked great on the outside, and they cleaned the inside as well! They stayed in contact with me and my insurance and made the whole thing super easy. Totally recommend! read more

I have taken my vehicles to three other places to have body/collision repair work done, and Daves is by far the best. They appear to be very honest, and communicate if anything is different than what they initially came up with on a price or time quote. They have worked great with our two different insurance companies, and have found and fixed issues that the adjuster missed. They are friendly and knowledgable, and I feel like my cars are safe when we drop them off. This is one of few businesses anymore that I would feel 100% confident recommending to a friend or family member. read more

Was rear ended took car to daves little slow at first. Dealing with the insurance company but WOW my car even looks better now then it did before the accident highly recommend this place. Great work read more

Amazing job start to finish! They finished the repairs on our vehicle in a timely manner and when we picked it up, we were VERY pleased with the result. They dealt directly with our insurance company and it made the process so smooth and hassle-free. Not only was the process easy, the work on our vehicle was exceptional! read more

Dave's Auto Body team is TOPS. Not only was my car repaired to brand new, Kelly, Brian and the whole team made my experience a positive one. I received scheduling and follow up progress calls through out the repair time. AND my car was detailed clean inside and out at pick up. Many thanks. I highly recommend Dave's Auto Body with complete confidence. read more

Was driving through Omaha on my way back to Canada when someone crashed into my SUV. Lots of damage done. I was distraught and felt helpless and stranded away from home. Dave's Auto Body did all they could to ease my mind and gave me a temporary fix so I could make it back home safely. If I'm ever in Omaha again, I would not hesitate to use their services. High quality work and high quality people at this shop. read more

I have had my car repaired here 2 times in the past year. They told me that the repairs are guaranteed for life. So I had a piece of molding coming off and I stopped in to have them look. They were extremely busy because of the recent hail storm. They had a tech take a look at it and about 30 minutes later my car was fixed. I was beyond pleased with this. I was expecting to schedule an appointment to get this fixed. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! read more

The gentlemen at Dave's Auto Body Co. made our estimate experience quick and painless! I was extremely impressed with how polite and genuine each employee was. They really made me feel like they were concerned about the damage to our vehicle and were going to get things squared away fast and the right way! Even though we don't ideally want to visit them again anytime soon for vehicle damage, they will absolutely be our first stop next time! read more

Had a minor door ding and was going to pay cash. They gave me two options, take the panel off & spray it for a few hundred $$$ or get some touch up paint & they would apply if for free. I loved the service and desire to not just make a buck. When I have serious bodywork, I'm taking it to Dave's. read more

Scratched and gouged our brand new car, wanted it back to brand new. I am a Service Advisor and have worked for dealerships in Omaha for 20 years and wanted to take it to the best. I've heard from other people that have taken there vehicles to Dave's Auto Body, and how good they were. WOW, what a top notch company! Dealerships try to be the best and try to please the customer. All dealerships need to come in and take notes on how to treat a customer and perform quality work. read more

We scheduled an appointment 3 weeks ahead of time, left our car for a minor repair for 2 weeks while we were on vacation and it wasn't ready when we got back. I talked to them early during my vacation and they assured me the car would be ready when I got back. Their quote was 50% higher then another body shop, but the other shop couldn't get us in while we were on vacation. I was willing to pay the higher price to get the work done and get my car back. But they didn't fulfill their commitment. If you have lots of TIME and MONEY and you don't care when you get your car back, this is the place for you. read more

RARITY !!! Exceptional "customer service" when you are NOT a customer. I flew to Omaha yesterday to pick up new (to me) vehicle. After picking up the vehicle, and quite a few miles from the pick up point,I noticed the low tire pressure indicator lite on. I stopped to re-fuel and attempted to use a pay for air device, which turned out to be a $3.00 donation to their scam. I saw Dave's Auto Body sign nearby, stopped in and requested to pay for the use of a tire gauge & air for all my tires. The young lady at the counter was terribly nice & professional, ready to assist when another employee also stepped forward, asking for my keys, offered me a water, refused payment, saying just sit down relax, I'll take your vehicle inside and check and air up all tires. A few minutes later he pulled my vehicle up front, saying you're ready to go. I regret not recalling/getting all of their names (approx. 4 employees in the front office area, including the owner) to give specific attribution, because I believe customer service is a lost art. When you see it personified, and know it's inculcated, you're truly taken aback ! If Dave's Auto Body is this attentive & professional to a impromptu,non-customer,I can only assume, they have great customer satisfaction & loyalty. I hope their business is blessed to grow tenfold! read more

Dave's did a wonderful job of providing a detailed estimate for my car, even though it became clear that the cost of repairs would far exceed the value of the car. I appreciated the time and consideration they provided. They are a reputable company. read more

I can't say enough about this place! They were recommended by both State Farm and Acura, and have definitely earned my recommendation as well. I worked with Lyle, who was incredible, and the rest of the staff proved to be just as friendly and helpful. They were accommodating and kept me updated on progress. They exceeded my expectations and my car looks perfect! Although I hope not to return for car repairs, but if need be, I would definitely go back to Dave's. read more

I was a very nice experience there. My mirror was broken, so I went there. Still glad that I tried there, because normally I check other places that are around us, and just do it no matter what... Nice shops, nice employee, and fair price. Everything can not be expected better. They even helped clean the car include interior after they fixed the mirror...They are doing a wonderful job! read more

Incompetent. Do NOT use this business. Seven people watched from inside a garage as my wife's car got hailed on south of Plattsmouth. The hail damaged the body of the car and cracked the wind shield. Took the car to Dave's upon the recommendation of my State Farm agent. Dave's provided me an estimate of $1,130 and scheduled an appointment for repairs. They then quietly told State Farm that the hail damage to the body of the car was legitimate, but that the broken windshield was not caused by hail. They told State Farm that I was making a fraudulent claim related to the windshield. Again, seven people witnessed the damage occur. Horrible experience. Will never do business with Dave's Auto Body again. read more

I have had work done on my cars a couple of times. Always top notch service!!
