To come to the point - I went to Gateway on the opposite end of town from me, to look at another vehicle that ended up not being a good match for me, but, next to it was a Honda Pilot, little older, with some miles. Vehicle had some moderate work done yet, Ben offered this information without my even asking. Try getting THAT somewhere else!!! Perfect vehicle for my needs. Love it! Now it's time to talk money and I meet Ben, the co-owner and main sales force. The vehicle seemed to need a couple minor things to help make me comfortable with the purchase, and these were done, WITH a LOANER car, thanks to Ben. Dave at the front counter is Ben's right hand man, and very capable. Every employee I bumped into or interacted with at Gateway was at minimum professional, and as I understand it they are all ASE certified! Between them all, the agreed minor repairs were completed, my full smile installed, deal struck. A good deal. In closing, now many hundreds of miles later, my vehicle is running and behaving perfectly. I bought this at a fair price and Dave and Ben did what they said they would do, and did so respectfully and promptly. They handed me information NO used car seller would ever do, and kept their promises. I would not recommend anyone buy a used vehicle before looking at what Gateway has to offer. Went to Hallett and the owner came out and looked at it, turned to me and said "give me 5 minutes." He unscrewed a couple screws and had it fixed right there for free. Wouldn't even accept a tip. They work with a rental car company and provided me with a rental car on site pick up and drop off which was very convenient! They also worked with the other drivers insurance company directly to get the rental vehicle and bills in order so I was not having to play middle man through this process! Called on Tuesday to check status after the holiday weekend to get an idea to know when my vehicle would be ready and they informed me that they were just about finished detailing it and would be ready soon. Mind you I thought they were detailing the outside not the inside of my vehicle and I was throughly IMPRESSED!! I own two VERY hairy dogs and keep up as best as I can when I can and these guys made my vehicle look almost brand spanking new on the inside as well as on the outside repairs that were the original reason for going! They went above and beyond my expectations and I will recommend them for repairs and now detailing needs too! just wish I had a before photo to show how amazing the did cleaning and detailing the inside!

Unfortunately, during the service, the windshield was further damaged and ended up with a crack instead. Was notified of the damage by owners and offered to replace windshield at half cost. After discussion, it was agreed upon that the windshield would be replaced for free. They were able to get this accomplished fairly quickly within a week or so. To make a long story short, Tires Plus, on 132nd and Maple told me this Ford Escape of my daughter's which I had just spent a bunch of $$ at Tires Plus to put a new AC compressor in and recharge a few weeks ago now needed more work. But, when we tried the AC on warm days and even the day after leaving the place the first time after the repair it was not throwing any cold or even cool air out. When I took it back in, assuming it was under warranty from 3 weeks before, they said it now needed a new evaporator coil. The cost? $1600. I took the car back and took it to Kurt at Acme. He and his mechanics checked out the whole AC system to find out it was only a fuse and now the AC is working great and Acme did that at minimal cost. I will keep bringing my cars to Acme. He was patient, thorough and walked me through the initial inspection and explained where certain costs came into play. They did the work in the time quoted and in my case the actual cost was significantly lower than the estimate. I still need some chrome they couldn't find a match for but it wasn't part of the quote in the first place. I'm very happy with Dent Crafters. I hope I don't need another body shop but if I do they'll be my first call!

They quickly made an appointment with me and we went over the issues with my vehicle. They promptly assessed the damage, ordered parts, and fixed my front bumper. They also fixed any cosmetic issues and did an alignment. I'd say my car looks better now than it did before the accident!! They were very friendly and helpful, and always kept in contact with me, updating every step of the way. I was able to pick my car up after hours, which was convenient. I was given an itemized receipt, which showed exactly what they did and what parts were needed. There was a lot of work done but the bill was very reasonable.
