I love this place, they also fixed my gate lift handle, put my tag on. I have never had such great service from an auto shop. This shop also had a A rating on Angie's list. I originally looked for chip repair because when i started pricing windshield replacment, i have been quited prices from $250 up to $400, i just drive an older Ford Ranger, so i knew those prices were a bit excessive. They repaired my chips and when i mentioned that i was thinking of just getting a new windshield, the suggested that i wait until spring after rock and sand season was over (WHO does that?! - not ANY car repair shop I've ever been to). Most shops try to separate you from as much of your money as they can while you are in the shop, they never tell you to hold off, unless yousay you don't have the money, and even then they will try to MAKE you fix something. The Owner Rich is very friendly and nice and they guys doing the work are friendly and nice too, i had to MAKE him take the tip, i was so pleased with the work, i couldn't NOT tip him. Rich showed me the damage caused by not replacing windows correctly - who knew there could be so much rust hiding under thre (he ahs pictures, ask him to show you). He said they take care to remove as much as possible before putting in a new window and they also seal it properly to keep rust from coming back or forming in the frist place. Additionally, they only use factory certified windows from your's car's maker - Ford in my case. I am looking forward to having my windsheild changed - i was originally dreading it, because of the $$$ it was going to cost. read more

Fantastic service and price! I had my rear windshield and front passenger window of my car broken out overnight, while staying at an Omaha hotel. I was moving across the country and several things were stolen from my car. When I started calling around for fast window replacement , Metro Glass was the only company that would help me same day. They rearranged their schedule for the day and fit me in. They stayed late to finish it the same day. When I was unable to get an Uber back to their shop to pick it up, they stored it inside their garage overnight, so I wouldn't have to worry about it getting broken into again. The job was well done and quite a bit less expensive than those big national chains that were not going to be able to get to it for a couple of days. They are friendly and great at what they do! Wife's SUV needed a new front windshield after a rock impact turned ugly. I was referred to Metro Glass by my insurance agent, and made a late-morning appointment. This was a self-pay replacement. I showed up earlier than the appointment time and the vehicle was quickly taken into the shop. Rick, the owner was present, accommodating, ensured I was comfortable and offered to drive me somewhere if I needed. The two ladies working the front office were helpful and friendly. There are large windows inside the shop so you can see what's being done to your vehicle. After a few hours, the vehicle was ready to drive. The new windshield was optically clear, and everything was sealed up nice and tight. The old windshield had aftermarket tint across the top, which, for an additional charge, was re-done on the new windshield prior to installation by a tint shop around the corner that Metro does business with. That saved me from having to get it re-done separately and cost about the same as "my" tint guy would've charged me. Everything about this windshield replacement was excellent. I would highly recommend Metro Glass, and I will return should the need arise. Rick also has a few nice used vehicles for sale in the shop, and if I were in the market, I would've happily taken the pristine Lexus IS250 that was there at the time. read more

Good experience! I was so bummed when my windshield got a huge crack but after a few minutes of googling and checking yelp reviews I picked these guys for the repair. They didn't take appointments but did ask when I was coming in and I came by that day after work. It takes about 30 minutes, and so far pleased. My goal is simply to not have it spread. I get the vibe they may leave if they aren't too busy, so I'd still give a call for a heads up if you're coming. read more

Called today to schedule an appointment with my Groupon for fixing a rock chip in my windshield. Super nice, told me not to worry when I said my Groupon was going to expire in 3 days and when I told her that the earliest I could come in on a weekday was prob 3:30, more likely 4, she told me to just call ahead and they would keep one of their technicians there to help me. The reason I didn't give 5 stars despite the friendly customer service is because when I went in, Rich told me that my rock chips look like they had already been sealed with resin and told me he would have his technician check, and that if there was a previous attempt at fixing it, they wouldn't be able to do anything. I said okay, and starting looking through some magazines. Next thing I know, I look out the window and the technician looks like he's already fixing my two rock chips (that's another thing, my Groupon was only for one rock chip repair, and I told them that I have two, but I didn't really want to fix them both today if I had to pay for the second one). I asked them what he was doing and they confirmed that he was working on them already - earlier they made it sound like he would check and then explain to me the game plan. So I ended up filing a claim for my rock chips (Rich called it a "freebie"), but I was hoping I wouldn't have to. But since they already started the repair without letting me know...well, I guess everything worked out in the end. I just didn't like that they went ahead with the repair without confirming with me if it was still what I wanted. That, and the fact that the chips looked pretty much exactly like they did before - except one of them seemed like a slightly messy job (might explain why the technician seemed unhappy about something). Oh, and on my way out though, I was given a free little first aid kit - that was a nice touch. read more

These guys are the best!!! They went above and beyond to save me a substantial amount of cash and still got my vehicle fixed!!! The dealership wanted to replace the glass (approx $1200), after they failed in their attempt to solder my defrost tab back onto my rear window glass. Metro Glass said they could replace the glass for around $400. However, upon inspection of my vehicle, they were able to fix it instead! I do not normally write reviews for businesses but these guys made a customer for life. I had my back window busted out a few weeks ago. My family and I used our resources to patch up the hole with plastic and duct tape. And looking around Metro gave me the best quote. They replaced my back window and my front windshield (which had a large crack from earlier in the year that I kept putting off). My windows had to be replaced at two different times because the wrong window was shipped to them but in the mean time they re did the patch job on back window opening. In the end both windows look absolutely fantastic and well worth the price. This is where these guys went from good to fantastic. They cleaned all the left over residue from the duct tape we used which I knew I was going to have to spend some time taking care of but when I got home I realized they did that for me. Additional they noticed my rear windshield arm and blade was just in shambles and they replaced it for me at no additional charge. I was worried being taken advantage of by big name auto glass names like Safelite, and these guys were up front and honest. In an ideal world I hope to never have to go back but if I need any auto glass replaced they will be my first call. read more

Sorry to say that these folks did very poor work in attempting to fix 3 window leaks on my RV. They had it for 1 week on each attempt, and in the process broke one of the windows and charged me for the glass! And also tore the interior vinyl next to the window and attempted to hide the accident. Ultimately they did pay to have the vinyl repaired by a specialty company when I called them on the damage. Yet they were never able to stop the windows from leaking, and they had my RV for 3 weeks....one week for each attempt. This whole process went on for over 2 months. When I told them that it was apparent to me that they could not solve the problem and that I felt that I was entitled to a refund of the $500 + they charged me, the owner became angry and hostile with me! I still have 3 leaking windows and a lot of frustration. In desperation, I bought some duct tape at the hardware store and sealed them myself..and guess what? No leaks... Which proves that Metro did sloppy work all along. I will never go back there. I thought that they were honest at first..now I know the truth. I think that they need to learn the motto: The customer is always right. read more
