What a ridiculous customer service by Bhaskaran and Kartik. I picked up the biryani yesterday at 8:30PM and it was clearly bad so my son refused to eat it. i had no energy to go back to the restaurant after 9PM so i called them today to report it and spoke to Bhaskaran who said get it back i will give you a fresh one. When I went to the restaurant with the bad biryani he trashed it and made me pay for the new one which i found was ridiculous. I paid for it as I had no time to argue with people with zero communication skills. Not to mention i have ordered the same item from this restaurant atleast 20 times prior. According to the these 2 people the biryani if not consumed within the next hour will 100% go bad. read more

We did a few dishes for takeout. The food was good. The garlic naan was a little tougher than I would've liked; But again, probably the result of doing takeout (as I do not recall this being an issue in the past). We ordered 3 dishes and it was more than enough to share between the 3 of us. Definitely would recommend both the butter chicken and the malai kofta (listed as Chefs specialty on DoorDash). We only got the Biryani from here to go. I wasn't sold on this place but the my ex wife aka my soul mate aka my future wife to be wanted to try this place as some people were raving about this place. Are you confused about my prior statement regarding my wife? I'm as confused as your are about the taste buds of people who recommended this place and the people who fly from different cities just to eat at this restaurant or franchise. It took the restaurant a long while to get our order ready. People who ordered after us, got their order earlier, though it was the same dish. While we waited we went to two other restaurants; ordered, picked up, ate and came back and yet the order wasn't ready. It took them soo long that they had forgotten qbout the order asked if I had paid for the order, then when I said yes, he would not believe me. I'm not sold on the taste as I mentioned earlier. I know I will be trying persis or paradise the next time around. The guy who initially took the order and the guy who got our order were friendly. If you have not eaten a good biryani, this may pass but fails to impress me or my partner in crime. read more

This is my go to biryiyani place in NJ. I make a 25 minute drive to get here and its totally worth it. We get the chicken dum biriyani and the vegetable dum biriyani as our go to items. Have also tried and liked the goat biriyani. It's just delicious biriyani with all the fixings and very authentic. Best I have found outside of India and may even be better than in India. Beyond authentic flavor and the spice level for the regular biriyani is definitely not mild. If you order it spicy it comes out very spicy so beware. The place inside is gross and the attendants are kind of unsavory. So that is a negative star. 5 pct discount for cash is nice. read more

Came in here last Friday and the heavier set man at the front was rude, no greeting and just point at a table. I had read other bad reviews about service and should have listened. So we walk to a booth and we are just waiting at the table wondering where the waiter is after sometime. Then this man after being a smart mouth with some customer who had walked in after we came when he asked if they have chicken 65 thinks he is funny by saying we have triple 65, chicken 65 what do you need. The customer asked him if he spoke kannada and he said no he is from Telangana. Finally after 5 minutes or more he walks over and just extends his arm with the menu from a distance after walking closer to our table to make me lean over to get it from him. At this point my wife was as very annoyed as I was and said we should leave as he didnt have even basic courtesy or customer service to come to a table and give a menu when we had come in, purposely making us wait around thinking we had to sit around for a waiter. His bad attitude was apparent the whole time so we left. This man is hurting that business and if he is not the owner I hope the owner reads this and realize what kind of staff he hired. Bad customer service should never be tolerated, not sure if it was because of speaking a different language but that is discrimination by him or he just treats all customers this way. read more

Looked the place up, ratings seemed good. My boyfriend and I sat down and ordered, the waiter ignored me and I never got my food. No Ice for already warm drinks. One can of sofa for two to share. No customer service, waiter didn't check on us. We had to call him over to get boxes and check. Not enough containers for food to go on table, which included his meal and the wrong appetizer. I've been a regular at this place for a long long time. Delicious and lip smacking food ! All the options for biryanis on the menu are equally great.
