I love about 45 mins away from Grimes Gunsmith. I have a closer gunsmith but he isn't open 3 days out of the week and won't promise to do sights while you wait. Before I found Grines I drove to Plano to a gunsmith that has a lot of good reviews. Long story short the gunsmith was saying how the TruGlo sight are junk and said he couldn't install them because they didn't fit and that I should return them. So opting for a second opinion I found Grimes and called. The gent I talked to said to come on buy. Which from Plano was a another 45 min drive. I get there and explain what the previous guy told me. He said he uses the same sights on his gun. And guess what? He got the sights fitted on my P30SK. Perfectly centered. He said the sights were just a tight fit but they are fine. I highly recommend Grimes Gunsmith. Plus they have the PROPER equipment and you can see exactly what they are doing. 5 stars.

It had o be ordered from their warehouse so they called me on 2026-10-03 to tell me it came in. I went to pick it up and after doing all the paper work and them taking their time to teach someone how to process the FFL, which took over an hour, they finally told me I owe them $33+change. My receipt shows the price of the gun ($380.99), the tax ($31.43), the total ($412.42) and balance due $0.00. On the receipt there is a statement that reads 'Special orders must be paid in full when the order is placed. Special orders are nonreturnable and nonrefundable. I was also told to sign the receipt, which I did and I was given a copy of the signed receipt. That day I picked it up, they tried to tell me the price of the gun was $412.42 and I owed them tax on that. They refused to see my receipt and insisted I owed them more money for the tax and the person that sold me the gun put in the wrong amount and didn't add the tax. Clearly my receipt shows I paid the tax and the price of the gun IN FULL so I refused to pay due to unethical business practices and they gave me a refund for what I paid. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE THAT WANTS TO PURCHASE ANYTHING OR SHOOT AT ANY OF THEIR FIVE LOCATIONS. THEY CANNOT BE HELD TO THEIR WORD, EVEN IF IT'S ON PAPER
