Knowledgeable and they stock almost everything under the sun. Staff was kind and helpful.

I have been coming here for years to replace my car key batteries and have always been helped with great service! But today, they were exceptional. I was having issues with an (extremely) old phone battery and she went above and beyond. She let me take home the battery charger to check and see if it's my actual battery, charger or phone. 10/10 recommend battery hut for all your battery needs !! read more

Heidi is wonderful to work with. She found the rare batteries I required. With so few stores that sell specialized batteries, it was refreshing to find this store and speak with Heidi. Thank you Battery Hut! read more

Great family business with great sense of service and humor. Been in Burbank for years.

Great service and always so helpful! Was looking for backup alarm battery and Battery Hut had it in stock and was helpful to recommend which one to purchase. read more

Kind of creepy and not very fair minded. It always feels like you're doing them a favor by walking in. I bought two new batteries for a UPS. It ended up the UPS was bad. I immediately returned and said i can't use the batteries and if I could get at least partial credit it I return them. He said yes, and after taking the batteries offered me a paper mask. What a jerk. I'll never go in that store again. I'd NEVER suggest ANYONE do so. read more

The Battery Hut in Burbank is OUTSTANDING! It's now owned and operated by its family of employees. They are honest and tell it like it is. Their service and knowledge are extremely valuable. Repaired my friends Key Fob in under 5-minutes for only the cost of the battery at $15.00, when the car company would have charged her $300+ for an entire new Key Fob! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND going to Battery Hut for ANYTHING that needs a battery! read more

UPDATE!!!! This place still gets 5 stars. I went there to get an obscure battery, and they had it. Not only that, they had a cat that was roaming around and the SERVICE was ridiculously fantastic. The nicest guys EVER. Seriously. ********************************************************* 5 stars cuz this place deserves it. Any place that has their slogan as "For All You Battery Needs" is a winner in my book. Plus: how does a place that sells only batteries stay in business??? I personally think it's a front for the Armenian Mob. It has to be. Well, regardless, 5 Stars, Mr. Battery Hut. Keep on keeping on! Next time I need a triple-a, you're my spot! read more

I walked in with my little anxious puppy and they offered water and was really understanding and helpful. It took all of five minutes and I had a new battery for my keybob. To be honest it was a great little experience. I will make sure to come to them for all my battery needs. Great experience. read more

I went in to get a battery for my garage door. They charged $10 for it and since it was not a common size and I like to support small business, I bought it. I found it some months later a hardware store and it was 2 for $5. As much as I like to support small businesses, marking up a battery that is roughly $2.50 to $10 is dishonest. read more

Needed 2 tiny batteries for my key fob. Paid $20 for them even though it cost $5 at target. I then realized i had these batteries at home and went back in about 10 min later to get a refund. Jim said as soon as I walked out the door he cant take a refund. I said you never told me this and its not written anywhere. He said it's written on the invoice. I said well you never gave me an invoice. Jim basically said ok and offered to only refund me $10 or $20 store credit. After talking a little longer he said he'll give me my money back but I cant ever come back and shop there again. I never disrespected or said anything bad to him. He was completely disrespectful and a terrible business owner. Who do you think you are offering only $10 back????? The place is also disgusting and old. No one ever shop here read more

Sooo hard not to give him 1-star, but I sooo want to support local businesses. I went to Battery Hut to get a special rechargeable battery. Jim did not have it in stock and said "come back Monday or Tuesday". Today I went back, walking in with another customer. Assisting that customer took 15 minutes (and counting). The store's other employee says "sorry...Jim will have to help you". 15 minutes later...Jim is still promising to help me "in a minute". Sir...I have 1 hour for lunch. I can't drive 10 minutes each way, wait 15 minutes and STILL not get helped. I had to go back to work. He seemed stunned that I would leave with buying from him. I so want to give my money to a small, local business, but you have to SERVICE THE SALE! Not to mention, his price was 40% more than I can get them online. I HATE to chose Amazon over a small business, but this was a bad experience. The guy's shop hasn't been updated since 1979. Dust a little and at least ATTEMPT to provide service as if the customer mattered. read more

Came here to get the battery replaced in my car key fob. The staff was helpful and even replaced the battery for me!

Larcenously Over-Priced This business recently moved to the S. Victory Blvd. location in Burbank from its previous S. Glenoaks address. I found myself in need of a CR1632 battery for the electronic key for my Toyota Camry in order to stifle that pesky "low key battery" message. I first went to Walgreen's. They had a niche in the battery display for the CR1632, but were sold out. The nearby CVS and Ralph's didn't seem to carry the item at all. Suppressing a deep sigh of annoyance for a seemingly simple task that was proving so difficult, I popped over to Battery Hut's new location on S. Victory. The first thing that struck my eyes as I walked through the door was the posted notice that all sales less than $25 were CASH ONLY. Really? Well, ok. How much can a CR1632 battery be, especially if Walgreen's was selling them for $5.79 (IF THEY HAD ANY)? I remarked to the sales person behind the counter that this size battery seemed uncommonly difficult to find. Somewhat unctuously, he remarked that, for electronic car keys, they were primarily used with Toyota and Lexus (Well, golly, I guess there aren't too many of THOSE around, huh?) But hey, lucky for me, he had them on hand and priced at ... Wait for it ... $12. Cash. Why did I get the feeling that the price he quoted was made up on the spot knowing I was anxious to purchase the item? Let me remind you that Walgreen's sells it for $5.79 when and if it feels like stocking it. Hell, even the rapacious Service Department of my Toyota dealership only extorts $5 to change the stupid thing. And I can probably get it for dirt on the Internet if I want to add shipping. TWELVE BUCKS!? I wasn't that desperate to be fleeced. My advice: If you're in need of a battery that you can't find, don't go to Battery Hut. Buy it on the Web if you have to, but just avoid this den of what is apparently opportunistic thievery. BH, you can't go out of business fast enough; don't let the insolvency door hit your butt on the way out. $12! Kaching, kaching. read more

I'm honestly blown away to see negative reviews. I order large amounts of batteries for all of my shows and they always do their best to price match the lowest possible price. Thank you for the years of support and great customer service. See ya soon! read more

LIAR. He charged $10 for one small key battery that was under $2 on Amazon. When I questioned him about it, he said that he couldn't discount bc that's about how much he paid for it. LIE. I didn't have time for shipping, so I had to get it, but I'll never go back. And you should never go either. read more

Battery Hut - The $10 battery - Battery Stores Near Me - Burbank, California

Predatory pricing model. Easily double the price of the next highest priced competitor for any battery. when confronting them for overcharge, the owner claimed ignorance. Even when citing examples for the outrages prices, owner doesn't care or try to accommodate the customers concerns. This is the primary reason why small business is losing its edge. Consumers are willing to pay higher prices for products when it comes to supporting small businesses. However, throw in 100% markups and the worse customer experience ever in the history of buying, then there you have it. I would never recommend or patronage this establishment ever again and I hope that all that are considering supporting this establishment do so with adequate research. I thought i would support a local business. My mistake. Good luck with the business buddy. read more

I used to have my batteries replaced at Kesslers but they closed down so I took my Seiko dress watch I bought in St Martin in the 1980's and a Swiss Army watch which was only a couple of years old. Both watches were in perfect condition but just needed batteries. This place gouged the insides out of both watches and ruined them. The second hand on the Seiko was off and the crown was broken on the other watch. Neither watch worked again and I ended up tossing them. I was furious and the person behind the counter offered to have his uncles friend take a look at it. What can you do ? Sue ? No that would cost too much and I didn't want the hassle of small claims court for the sake of a few hundred bucks. However please be aware STAY AWAY FROM THE BATTERY HUT !!!!!!! THEY ARE DISHONEST AND NOTHING BUT CROOKS THAT WILL DESTROY YOUR WATCH. read more

Bought mower batteries on Thurs; discovered batteries were not the problem on Fri; phoned on Sat about returning them; got a recording about being on the other line, so drove there - closed. Spoke to Jim on Monday - he claimed no returns were accepted because of COVID (not mentioned, nor on the receipt, nor made any sense). I've disputed the charge with my credit card company and totally believe the other deplorable reviews. read more

The nicest people work/run this business. They were willing to really explain the products that I needed for my prospecting equipment. When it turned out that I could use some existing equipment I already owned (the owner's idea) they were just as nice to me. We had fun joking around today and it showed me the value of good customer service in building a business. I wouldn't hesitate to return and actually spend some real money here. Maybe even $10k someday. read more

Battery Hut - All kinds of batteries and good help/advice - Battery Stores Near Me - Burbank, California

My son's electric toy car's battery went dead and we thought it would be impossible to find a replacement 6V battery with the specific leads that it required. Radioshack recommended this place to me. I called and Jim answered and said he may be able to help me. I went over the same morning and Jim was the nicest guy in the world! They had the exact battery. Because they had to change the leads and the fuse, the total cost of the battery and labor was $20. The service was absolutely excellent and I highly recommend The Battery Hut for anyone looking for an obscure battery. And PS- right next door is the most amazing hobby shop in southern California. read more

I had a battery that needed replacement for an old tw-way radio. Here was the conversation: ME: Do you carry this kind of battery. BH: No, but we can make it. Is it lithium? ME: Yeah. BH: No, we can't make those. (pause) ME: Okay, thanks. I expect a place that deals only in batteries to have more information than that. But this guy was all too happy to end the conversation and head to the back room. read more

The owner of this establishment is an extraordinary human being. When confronted with an issue that came up during a purchase that I made at the store, he directly and calmly asked, "What can we do to make this right?" How direct and unexpected a response like this is in the world today. This should be a model for every person either in sales, or dealing in any capacity with the public. Thank you Jim. Pretty Terrible. Expect to pay double or more for everything. And if you purchased or think about purchasing batteries from anywhere else, prepare to be blacklisted. Highly passive aggressive staff. I was looking for a battery solution to power some camera gear. Basically just a high capacity battery and a connection wire/adapter and charger. Everything started out well until they told me the battery I was looking for would cost a double mark up price. ($110 for a $49 battery) I thought that sounded off, so I checked online for an average price and asked them why so much? I came in prepared to pay $60 for the same model battery they were trying to sell me.. That didn't go over well, they were deeply offended by the notion I would compare a price, have questions about why, and just shut down... I asked if I could still commission them for a connector and a charger.... nope.... no more answers to questions, no nothing. They actually said "we could help you, but we're not going to." Then went silent with a smug smile. OooooooOOooooK...... I laughed and left. If you still plan to use this place for a battery solution, I hope you have a better experience. BatteryHut has proudly earned this single star review. read more

STAY AWAY. Walk in. Fat 60-ish man in a sweat-soaked shirt is slumped over a binder at a desk. Ask for a particular battery. Great, they appear to have it in stock. Expensive, but it's a small business, so figure what the hell. Note MasterCard and Visa sign. Hand over credit card to pay. They say cash only. I say you have the MasterCard and Visa sign up. They say they only take credit cards over $25. Total violation of both the Visa and MasterCard terms of service. He doesn't care. Ask for card back, tell them that they're not getting the business, and walk out. What a bunch of losers. Go to RadioShack and get better service and probably a better selection too. Here's hoping these greedy idiots close down fast and are replaced by a real business. read more

$8 for my watch battery, I needed it and wasn't sure other places would have it so I figured I'd potentially waste a bunch of time and gas searching around. The guy who works there is always in the back room, probably because they don't get enough business. I found the same battery for half the price a few days later when I was at Best Buy. Best Buy? Their prices are supposed too high on everything! Could have gotten 4 batteries online for the price I paid for 1 at Battery Hut. Like others said, cash only for purchases under $25. Not going there again unless it's to complain to the manager. read more

I will give them three stars for having in stock what I needed. However 2 stars for pricing! I could have gotten 2 lead acid cells ps832's for the price of one! If you need what ya need and they have that's great the are located in a good spot. However if you can wait 2 places that I know of around town would have been cheaper! I paid 39.95 for the item here and purchased a 2nd one at battery town in Santa Clarita for 22.95 same product but battery town did not have the day I wanted it. Battery hut would not budge on price. They got me for one but not 2! read more

DON'T GO THERE THEY ARE A RIP OFF. If I could give less than one star I would. I went there in need of a battery for my car remote and was charged $10.
