I have never bought a used battery before, so we will see how it works. The battery I bought at this shop was less than $30, it looks brand new and it has a six month warranty. So I came here twice for a deep cycle battery. First time the battery was good. The second time, the battery did not hold a charge. I returned it and the lasdy asked me what do I use the battery for. I said solar, she said I can't honor the warranty because it's solar. Basically because she said she doesn't know how effective my system is or if my system is the problem. I seriously doubt this lady knows how solar works. Solar charge controllers are basically 99 percent effective and never go bad. so they won't be the cause of a defective battery. I could of stayed there and argued with her for 20 minutes but i got better things to do. Anyway I'm not going back ever again. This lady was very smug and I guess thinks she's the only game in town. But Kem battery has better prices and 2 locations. Also, for a few bucks more you can get a new battery at Walmart. So aloha means goodbye lady. Oh one last thing. these type of places basically just buy batteries in bulk test them clean them and resell them. They do not rebuild them and sure as heck do not put water in the batteries. So if you buy a battery here or other places tell them to put water or you will have to put water in them. They never have water in them. read more
