I like coming here to sell old junk batteries for 10 bucks that's it. No need to buy a battery here just cash it out.

Gem and the guys are super attentive and fast. I was in and out with in minutes. Kid you not I was about 15 -20 mins there and there were no problems at all. My battery is great, so far I haven't had problems. Will recommend fs ! Ohh yea one thing that does suck tho is the parking. There's a little parking lot in the side and good luck getting in so I'd suggest just finding parking on the street. read more

I have a 2021 toyota corolla and last week it started having trouble starting, It would try to turn over but wouldn't start right away, after a few tries it finally would. I already knew about superstar because my brother took me there a few months ago to replace the battery in his car, and he spoke highly of them. They checked my battery and recommended an Optima, since it's reliable and performs well, especially for cars that have been in use for a few years, my car was ready in 25 minutes. The guy that installs em ia handsome af & charming. He changed my battery & my life. I'll definitely be back in the future.

I am impressed at how helpful and fluid this business was at resolving my battery issue. The associate Eddy immediately did a thorough scan of both my battery's, including the one I had purchased from them- inspected the installation flaws, and handled the previous transaction w/a swap as my original was in great condition to begin with! This is definitely a great business and the reviews speak for themselves. read more

All around excellent service! My battery completely died. I called Superstar in the morning, and they confirmed that they had both a used battery as well as new battery for my car. After calling AAA and getting my car jump started, I drove straight to Superstar and parked in the street right in front. I was immediately assisted by a young man, Eddie. I opted for the new battery at $80 (rather than the used one for $40). My old battery was severely corroded, and Eddie was extremely careful not to break the screws holding the cables to the battery. He said that I may need to replace the cables, however. I agreed to get two new cables. Service was quick, and Eddie had me start the car to make sure that it was working fine. I checked in on Yelp and got a 10 percent discount! Came with a 2 year warranty. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. I'm not sure if there is a parking lot in the back--- I parked right in front on the street, and Eddie installed the battery right there. Highly recommended. read more

Superstar Batteries - Battery Stores Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Went in today around 4:30pm thinking it might be a hassle at this time of day. I got parking right in front and Eddie was at the desk right away. He pointed directly to the simple price list and showed me the simple options. There was NO hard sell and I opted for a refurbished battery for my 2003 Honda Accord. He quickly replaced it and even instructed me on how to re-set my factory radio in case in needed a code. The whole operation was as quick as or even quicker than the drive through at Jack-In-The Box! Eddie was courteous and helpful and clear with all my questions. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and will not hesitate to direct everyone I know to get their batteries here. Thanks again, Eddie! read more

Superstar Batteries - Battery Stores Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Superstar Battery is located off the 5 and is the best place to get your battery replaced. I have replaced batteries for every vehicle I have owned since I learned about this place in 2011. If your car is still running and you are able to come here to swap out your battery, DO IT. They offer free installation and are very knowledgable about cars aside from your batteries. Used Batteries start at $30 and a new one will be around $60-80. They provide warranties on the batteries they sell and HONOR their warranty. I replaced a 2015 Scion IA battery for $60 with an 12 month warranty. The only time I had to use the warranty was when I left my lights on in my vehicle and the battery failed. They replaced it with another one and did not give me a hard time despite it being my fault. Superstar battery will go the extra mile for you and save you a ton of money on a car battery. read more

They are great... they offer a nice range of batteries at really decent prices. Refurbished and NOS models that are like brand new. They even took out my old battery and put in the new one... and they were nice. The only thing is... if you're a hoity toity hipster, the neighborhood may frighten you. read more

Needed a battery that wasn't too pricey due to hard times. This was the spot they give more then other spots to trade in the old battery. I only paid 90 for a brand new battery with 2yr warranty compared to 3month warranty on a used battery at my old spot. read more

Superstar Batteries - Curbside parking, and more around the side if you need it. About to head in for a car battery bright and early. - Battery Stores Near Me - Los Angeles, California

I was experiencing battery issues and went to Auto Zone for some help which ended up being a horrible experience. Although the workers meant good they were unfortunately inexperienced and broke my main fuse panel which caused me to be carless for 3 days. I googled local battery services and thankfully came across this location Super Star Batteries. I went to their shop on Monday 11/28/22 where Eddie took a look at my battery and guided me on what part I needed and how to purchase it online. Now let me tell you I called all the main car part facilities like O'Reilly's Auto Parts, Auto Zone, Napa, and Advanced Auto parts and neither of them offered the piece I needed. I called the dealer and it was going to cost $329 just for the piece!! Thankfully I came here where Eddie recommended where and how to get it, I ordered it and received it by today Wednesday 11/30/22. I stopped by hoping to get Eddie's help again but instead received the help from Reuben who was just as great. He installed the part correctly and had my car back up and running in no time. As many of us experience unexpected car problems it can be nerve wrecking figuring out where and how much it's going to cost. The gentlemen at Super Star Batteries not only helped me through the entire process but they ensured my battery was safely and properly placed which is more than I asked for. We need more people and businesses like Super Star Batteries that look out for you and aren't always focused on the profit or money but really care for others. You don't see enough of this hospitality in this type of industry so I'm really appreciative of their generosity and support! Thank you Reuben and Eddie for all your help! You guys came through for me in a tough & overwhelming time and I can't thank you both enough! I highly recommend this location for all your battery issues! read more

The son of the owner Eddie is extremely knowledgeable with cars. He fixed my stereo and found a short in my vehicle. I didn't even need a battery and he didn't charge me. I just gave him a tip. Super honest worker. Saved me a $300 diagnostic trip to the Nissan dealer. Came 3 months later to purchase a new battery for $90 2 year warranty. In and out in under 10 mins extremely fast service. Beats auto zone long 45 min line. read more

This place is by far extremely underrated! I bought a battery from here for my Integra about 5-6 years ago, thankfully remembered what this place was called, and am grateful they are still around. A young man helped me this time around with installing the new battery on my Scion TC while swapping out the old one. He is extremely knowledgeable about the electrical systems of different cars and I am sure that knowledge is spread throughout their company. Getting a new battery from here with a 2 year warranty is a great deal - You cannot beat their prices or warranty guarantee anywhere! I recommend to bookmark this place for when the time comes and you need to replace your car's battery. Customer service here is A+ and they will leave you with a great lasting impression for years to come! read more

I love an auto repair business that tells you when you don't need something. You've got to be honest to turn down a sale.
