I had what I thought was a catastrophic failure of my iPad. I called them, told them what had happened, and the gave me a quote. I accepted fate and took my iPad to them. A quick check by the tech and I was to,d it wasn't a catastrophic failure...just a charging cable connection issue. Plugged in a new cable and voila! This man won't tell you ahead of time what happens to your phone when you purchase his bogus product Go anywhere where you need a bar code scanned it wont read it. He said he was being generous and threw in a free screen saver but it cracks all over the place and I have pulled a piece of glass or whatever it is made of out of my finger. I brought my laptop to this place for a simple key replacement. They said it would cost $170 and take about a week. After that, they kept delaying the repair and stopped giving me clear updates. Eventually, they stopped answering the phone altogether. I had to take my laptop to another company -- the second one already -- and they told me that this shop actually damaged my device and failed to provide a proper invoice for $900 in repairs. I'm extremely disappointed. Either they are completely unqualified and don't understand how to properly replace a single key, or they did this intentionally. So I have/had a Solana Saga phone. They only made 20,000 of them (which sold out in December 2023. It is a weird phone in a niche market. My LCD had shattered so I came in and talked with Daniel. He hadn't seen one of these (which isn't a surprise) but looked online and literally told me my phone should STILL be under waranty. He did also look for a screen replacement but as there isn't any of these phones it was not going to be worth it. I contacted the makers and they are sending me a new phone. So that is awesome and I wouldn't even have thought to do that. So first off great advice and what a kind guy to mention that. I also needed to get a few things off my phone. The screen still can be touched and responds (you just cant see anything). He reccomended getting a dongle to plug it into an external. I totally got one AND IT WORKED AND I RECOVERED MY WALLET! I have had to bring my vintage 2015 iPad Pro in TWICE in under a year due to my own clumsiness. This is a review about kindness of strangers. I have not had my cell phone repaired here however based on my experience on Super Bowl Sunday I certainly wouldn't hesitate. I had left my my phone, downtown and was hopelessly lost, trying to get to a friends place and couldn't remember his address. Poor quality repair. Had my iPhone screen changed out and a month or two later it literally came unglued. Guy tried to charge me for a new screen, before finally offering to just glue. Also, he asked if I was having problems with the screen, and it was acting up, so it seemed like he knew he gave me a crappy screen and installed it poorly. Ended up just getting a new phone anyways, but needed the temp fix for a few months. I heard that the guy was selling this business, so hopefully the new owner will do a better job. So don't want to disparage new management, but there are better repair shops in the area. read more

I rarely write reviews. That being said, this has got to be one of the best cellphone repair stores I've ever gone to. Ari is one of the nicest reps I've ever interacted with and is beyond helpful. My IPhone was already cracked and not in the best condition, but it worked. Until one morning, I woke up and even though it was plugged in, it wasn't charging and refused to turn on. Ari and his team diagnosed a short circuit in my phone, quoted me fairly and only recommended the essential repairs. I decided to just fully repair everything and my phone was returned to me more or less like new. I'll happily refer my friends here and doubt I'll be bringing my phone anywhere else in the future. I called around on a Sunday to fix one of the 3 rear glasses for my iPhone 13 Pro and everyone had the same response. "I can fix it on Monday, gotta order part." When James answered the phone he asked if it was okay for him to check his inventory and call me back, and I've had no luck on this prior through more then 5 other local shops anyways, so sure! James called me back promptly and told me he does have the part! His pricing was very fair, and he had immediate availability. Needless to say, the cameras glass is replaced and the functionality of the camera has been restored! I dropped my phone face down yesterday. My phone has been cracked for years, and the cracks looked the same, and the phone was still working and I kept using it, so I figured it was fine. A few hours later though, my phone started opening apps randomly and "clicking" on things on its own, typing letters, opening apple pay and almost sent money requests! The touchscreen was barely responding, a vertical line appeared. Couldn't do anything but turn off the screen. I contacted Cell Phone Factory to get a quote. He said the LCD was damaged and it would take 15 mins to fix, and quoted me $50 for my phone (I have an iPhone SE, the original one). I feel like they are taking safe precautions during Covid. It is a small shop but the door is kept closed to prevent people randomly walking in, and they only take appointments. I was asked to come an hour after I contacted them, I ended up missing my appointment time and had trouble contacting them without my phone. They have a chat function on their website which is helpful and they are responsive. You can book an appointment online too! When I arrived, they made sure that there was only one customer inside at a time. Staff was wearing a face covering. I'm not sure if the person who helped me is the owner or just working there... he was extremely nice and friendly, and fixed my phone in 15 mins. They take credit cards, but it'll be a little cheaper if you bring cash. GPS will take you to the alley behind Walgreens for some reason! The shop entrance is actually directly on Ventura next to Walgreens. There's metered parking in front, or you can park in the lot behind Walgreens, or a little farther there's a lot with Supercuts and restaurants. I highly recommend this place!
