I needed a new battery for my iPhone and was told by AT&T that this place would replace it for free…read morethrough their warranty program. When I walked in, I was greeted quickly and the individual at the desk was friendly and informative. He was able to quickly locate my warranty claim but then told me that I would have to come in later that day because they didn't have batteries for the iPhone 12 (but that more were supposed to be delivered that day). He said he would call when they received the delivery, but by the time I got back to my car, I had a call that someone cancelled a replacement or something and I could come right back in. They told me that my screen would likely crack during the repair and asked for my OK to repair that if that was the case (which thankfully, was also covered under the warranty). I then had to leave my phone and was told to come back in 2 hours. It is funny how much you don't realize you rely on your phone for certain things until you don't have it in your possession (like getting gas at Sams club or even checking the time). I went back and my phone was ready. However, the battery was only charged to about 15%. He said that was common with new batteries, that they don't come fully charged and that I shouldn't worry. I do wonder, though, if they put a dud battery in because yes, it does fully charge, but it takes FOREVER to charge now, even when I use a "high speed" charger. I also have issues with standard charging cables working well when plugged in. I'm wondering if something happened when they were putting the phone back together. Overall, they did what they said they would do in the time that was promised, the staff was friendly, but I'm just not convinced of the quality of the products they use in the replacement. Side note - the store reeked of pot. But that could have been from a customer and not staff as the smell was less intense when I came back to pick up my phone.

Greetings, picked up my phone today after about a month in your shop and was told that the SIMM…read morereader was bad and that a part was ordered. I called several times after days went by about this because no calls about the problem, or if a part was ordered or any status about my phone until I called and asked. When calling the person took forever to look up my order and at times put me on hold for too long. I hung up one time and another time the person said I'll call you back. Nothing mentioned in my receipt about any problems with my phone or any part or repairs done. My phone was returned with 0% percent battery and when I eventually got it charged some it was in "maintenance mode". So, after restarting it looks like my phone is still having the same issues with "searching for service". I noticed that I wasn't charged for anything so can I assume that nothing was done as well? I was told that there was a cost of $130 and was expecting to pay that when I picked up my phone. So, I am confused. So asked for and is currently waiting to hear back from them.

0 of 5 stars WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER…read more Went to get screen repaired, said it could be done. Went back to pick up my device and told I would have to replace the battery as well for an extra fee. Told a refund would be issued within 3-5 days. Over a week later and no refund. Contacted again and told I would be called right back after the representative checked into the refund. No call back. Called their main office and spoke with the manager of customer service. Told it was being taken care of and there was no reason for them to contact me. Got argumentative and hostile towards my inquiry as to why the poor service. WILL NEVER USE AGAIN. DO NOT RECOMMEND

I asked for a manager and he tried twice; could not reach one. I went back the next day, same $199 price on their website, and the (new) clerk who told me she was a manager also would not honor it. I asked for her manager and she called them. She told me that the manager on the phone would not honor the website price. She would not let me speak to him. Didn't even offer me an at-cost repair (she said they pay $220 for the screen). Their mistake should have been corrected by giving this to me at cost and taking the bogus pricing down. Bad business, I don't recommend them. They could have made this a lot easier and focused on Customer Satisfaction. Lets see how long they leave their bogus pricing on their website now that I have written this. Today is 10/30/2017. ipad air 2 = $199 listed at www.irepairpgh.net/prices/ but in store = over $380!

Stop. Turn back. Don't go here…read more If you have an iPhone, go to Apple instead; Apple is cheaper, faster, and uses real components. This isn't hyperbole. I brought an iPhone 7 to iRepair to fix a broken screen. It took 90 minutes, cost $166, and ultimately left me with a worthless screen. Apple replaces screens in 60 minutes for $129, and their's actually work. The kiosk attendants will tell you that they use OEM screens (real Apple ones). They don't. THIS IS, BY DEFINITION, FRAUD. After an absurd obstacle course I had to maneuver, the regional manager apologized and said that she would retrain the staff to only claim to use OEM-quality screens. They aren't OEM-quality either, or else I wouldn't have noticed, and I wouldn't be writing this. I quickly checked the touchscreen when picking up the phone, and it seemed fine. It didn't fit perfectly, but I (wrongly) assumed that I had saved money by avoiding the Apple store, so I was ambivalent. Then it happened, the screen warmed up, which will happen when you are watching a video. The screen registered random touches everywhere, rendering the phone unusable until it cooled back down. This doesn't happen with OEM screens. I also noticed that pressing hard on the screen (something you need to do to use the phone's haptic touch functionality), the liquid crystals were smushed as if I were tapping on a computer monitor. This shouldn't happen. When I called the phone number listed on my receipt for warranty appointments, I found out that they gave me the number to a local Pizza Hut. THIS IS SOMETHING CALLED "UNFAIR BUSINESS PRACTICES." It's an admittedly silly sounding name for A CRIME THEY ARE COMMITTING. After an argument with the kiosk attendant, he finally agreed to replace the sh**ty screen with my original broken screen so that I could go to Apple to have a real screen put on. All the while, he maintained that iRepair uses OEM screens and that I didn't know about iPhone screens. They don't, I do, and while this routine might work on most people just looking to fix a cracked screen, it didn't work on me. My journey didn't end there. The guy would only refund $139.09, claiming that the $25 dollar service fee couldn't be refunded. After I protested, he gave me the number for his manager. Again, I had been given a wrong number, and I ended up interrupting a random woman's day. Finally, he gave me the regional manager's number. After waiting on hold for about 20 minutes, I was allowed to leave a message. Luckily, the manager actually called me back. To her credit, after I had informed her about her company committing fraud and using unfair business practices, she both was apologetic and refunded the other $25+tax. Why did I take my time to write this? I refer you to paragraphs 2 and 3. I honestly feel a moral imperative to warn potential customers. Why don't I report iRepair to the state? I don't have THAT much time, and I'm hoping the company take this opportunity to fix what they're doing wrong once they see this post.
