Tried this location for the first time w a friend and we loved the experience.. it was very relaxing everyone was nice the only thing is there's no direction on where to go n they run out of towels and slippers quickly but either then that love the pool feature they have

Bathhouse was exactly what I needed -- a perfect mix of relaxation and atmosphere. The space is beautifully designed, clean, and gives off a calm, upscale vibe from the moment you walk in. I loved rotating between the different pools and saunas, and the overall experience felt both rejuvenating and social without being overwhelming. Staff was friendly, everything felt well maintained, and the whole visit helped me completely unplug for a few hours. Definitely a great spot for a reset day with friends or even a solo self-care escape. I'll absolutely be back.

Came here plenty during the summer - mostly used the rooftop pool but took dips in their other pools downstairs. Rooftop pool is amazing, especially on early, random weekdays. So peaceful and relaxing. I loved how they also had beanbags so non-daybed visitors aren't restricted to sitting on concrete. I also appreciated the locker cleanliness, plus they were never out of supplies. Only thing to note is that the shower drains get clogged easily so there were some issues with that.

This was my first time coming to bathhouse. I purchased the first timer day pass which included a personal tour. They show you around and also encourage you to try the afgus. I honestly can say I accomplished things I never thought I would prior to coming to this spa. I came at 7pm and it was pretty crowded. The place it HUGE so it wasn't like we were all crammed up. This spa is a unisex spa so both woman and men share spaces. With that being said, there was a lot of boo loving going on lol (nothing inappropriate though) I went to the cafe and had pork dumplings and a Mai tai. I honestly was not a fan of the Mai tai. It tasted like prune juice. This is just my personal opinion** the dumplings were fine but I also wasn't feeling all of the oil it was sitting in. ‍ I'm going to try their other location in Flatiron but I also look forward to returning to this location. Maybe with my boo

I've been here a few times now and have always enjoyed coming here. This was my first time being back since they added the rooftop pool and additional baths. I recommend going on a weekday when it is less crowded. The additional space has helped with that but it still gets pretty busy. This was my second time dining in the cafe. This time there was an automatic 20% gratuity included. This is after paying at the counter, $17 for 4 wings, getting my own water, and getting the hot sauce that the staff member said "you can go grab yourself". Other than cook the chicken myself, I did most of the work but was charged a mandatory 20% tip. It ended up being over $5/wing. Definitely recommend eating in the area beforehand. I understand the automated tip at the rooftop bar where they are serving you.

Went back to Bathhouse today and they have added quite a few new features since our last visit. The most notable addition is the rooftop swimming pool, which is now heated during the winter months. The moment you step outside onto the roof, the first thing that catches your eye is the steam rising off the water. As people climb out of the pool, you can see the steam rolling off them as well. It is a genuinely impressive sight. The pool itself is quite large and we really enjoyed spending time up there. There is also a sauna on the rooftop level, though according to my wife it was not putting out much heat, which makes sense given how cold it was outside. The pool temperature is another story entirely. It is very warm and you feel completely comfortable while in the water despite the winter air surrounding you. Whenever I started feeling a slight chill, I would just dip my head under and instantly felt fine. It is a really unique experience and one of the cooler things we have done in a while. I skipped the ice plunge today. I just was not feeling up to it and spent most of my time relaxing in the regular pools instead. My wife made good use of the saunas and I checked them out briefly before stepping away, not wanting to overdo it and get dehydrated. She was in need of some solid rest and relaxation and Bathhouse delivered on that front. It was a great Saturday. We rode the train home well past midnight but left feeling like it was absolutely worth it.

Celebrating my Bestie, we had an early Saturday spa day! Loved the facilities and the attentive and professional service. Not having to leave the Borough was certainly a plus. Glad we arrived early because it gets crowded. Food was tasty and just enough.

Ask the Community - Bathhouse - Williamsburg

Wondering how big the "hang/chill out" areas are in the bath section of the Bathhouse or if there are any. I only saw photos of the tubs, the stream room, sauna and restaurant. Does this place have any lounge areas other than the restaurant?

There are some benches and little chairs on the sides, but the best hang out / lounge area is the heated marble slabs in the center of the spa by the pools.

Can I pay for a spa treatment such as a massage or facial without the pass?

No. The treatments are only *in addition to* the day pass. If you only want a massage or scrub treatment you would automatically be paying for the day pass as well, whether you take advantage of the other amenities or not.

    Are amenity areas coed?

    Yes

Do you have to be completely naked for the full body scrub?

    No, bathing suit is required

Do you only get a robe if/while you're dining? Are robes not provided to wear around the facilities?

The facility does not provide robes complementary. There are robes you can purchase in the front lobby. The facility requires all guests to wear a swimsuit while in all common areas, including the restaurant.

I would like to do the couples scrub but after the scrub do I get to do everything else for the rest of the day or how long can I use the other amenities?if I purchase 2 day passes 1 for me and my man would we be able to do everything as a couple?

Yes you can. You can do the scrub and also the amenities. It's an all day pass. I would recommend going early during the week so you can enjoy your time there. The pools are pretty small so if another 3 ppl join it will feel packed. Also I…

    Is photography allowed?

They don't indicate "no phones allowed" but you can photograph at your own discretion. I took pictures and no one said anything.

Does Bathhouse have an social media page?

    They do! Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/watch/Bathhouse-110409387035439/…

For the early bird day pass you can stay as long as you want you just have to check in before 11?

Hi Sara, yes - check in before 11am gets you a day pass during the week which doesn't have a time restriction. thanks!

Are there any that are not co-Ed for more comfortability?

Hi Leo, thanks for reaching out. While our locker rooms are not coed, the rest of our facilities are all coed.

Hi, Is the Scrub + Admission package including access to the three pools (cold plunge, hot pool,…

Hi Meah - Yes, an admission includes access to all our public features. Thank you!

When you have a day pass, can you use spa, then eat, then use spa again?

    Hi Ada, yes you can!

Will we need to bring our swimsuits?

Hi there - yes we require bathing suits. We sell bathing suits as well, but most people bring their own.

Are the saunas and pools co-ed?

Hi there! Yes they are all coed

This has nothing to do with my perfect angel aesthetician and everything to do with the rude woman Bethany who was working the front desk. I had a monthly membership and have spent thousands with Chateau Glow. After my terrible experience, they did nothing to attempt to retain me or rectify the problem at hand. Yesterday, I came back to Chateau Glow after taking a break in my membership when I had to cancel my appointment in April to deal with a sudden death in my family. I spent $720 on a laser facial package for 4 laser facials in the winter and was alternating between laser and my member voucher until the package was used up (or so I thought). My last appointment was a laser facial, then when I came back to book an appointment, I was automatically booked for a laser facial without having asked for one and was expected to pay the cost of a one-off laser facial, a whopping $350 (minus 20% member discount) out of nowhere after nobody notified me of my package being used up or there being an additional charge in any of my confirmation emails, despite everyone blindly insisting that it was listed within the appointment confirmation emails. I've since checked 5 times to make sure I'm not going crazy, it's not listed. And if by some miracle it is listed, it sure is well-hidden. "The best they could do" after totally blindsiding me was applying one of my vouchers and leaving me out $125. Bethany at the front desk just blankly stared at me and insisted over and over again that I was wrong about the confirmation emails not containing the additional cost, eye-rolls and sighs all part of the A+ customer service experience. After emailing to notify the team of my bad experience and subsequent membership cancellation they did nothing to try to retain me and maintained the same confirmation email story. This business doesn't care if you spend $5 or $5,000 so long as they get their money.

(scroll for info at the end of my original review.) ------- ORIGINAL REVIEW: Yeahhhh.. this place isn't it lol. For context I'm 25F, just moved into the area. This happened a few weeks ago but it just popped into my head recently. Hole in the wall massage/spa places are so hit or miss. Honestly I accidentally booked through them for a 60min back massage thinking it was another place that I actually liked that is also in ridgewood (it was "Mosa Spa"; you can book on their website so you know exactly what you're paying for before hand.) During the massage the woman asked me multiple times if I wanted soft or heavier pressure, and each time I said soft very loud and clear, since my head was face down for the massage. Fast forward to the middle of the massage and she's standing on my back. Like actually standing. And it wasn't brief. I know this is something people do in general, like at home, but it seemed extremely unprofessional since she didn't ask first before doing it, and I had already said "soft pressure" not "please put your whole body weight on me in one place." I also know that 60min massages usually involve flipping around to have the front part (arms, legs, head) massaged about halfway through. She must have mistimed and I flipped over and then 10 minutes later her timer went off and the massage promptly ended. When I was filling out the receipt for the tip, the man at the counter pointed at the dotted line and said "Tip." (not as question. also extremely rich considering the quality of the experience.) I never write reviews because I am so lazy; I guess this is where my laziness gets me so I can't complain (too much) - but I can warn: If you have a small budget for pampering yourself, either go to another massage place like Mosa with similar prices, or bite the bullet and splurge on an actual spa/bathhouse (NYC & brooklyn have plenty.) Or get a facial at the Glowbar locations for 30min under $100. Or get your nails done! I felt super disappointed because I don't have a lot of money for this kind of stuff, and blew it on a very uncomfortable experience. Good luck lol. -------------- Edit: I didn't look at the other reviews before visiting since I thought I was going somewhere else, but after I posted THIS review, i read someone else's who said they got a SKIN INFECTION twice?? And weirdly enough they posted a second 5 star review saying they loved it and to tip the masseuse $1 per hour (so like $30-60 extra) and that their "old review" was an assumption and they shouldn't have posted it. I clicked on the account of the second reviewer and they're two different people under the name Daniel I. First review about skin infection is real, the second 5 star review is fake and from the company. That's actually crazy.

I'm a guy and not sure how often they do more masculine-leaning designs, but they really nailed it and knocked it out of the park with this one. I brought inspo pics for a gel design, but there was a bit of miscommunication and the design wasn't coming out right. That said, before we even got there, my nails looked so good -- super clean, crisp, and perfectly shaped. Even without polish, I would've been happy leaving like that. They had another manicurist, Dolker, step in and she completely turned it around. She checked in with me on each nail and executed the design way better -- I left really happy. They also took $15 off, which I appreciated. The manicure itself lasted almost 4 weeks with no chipping and I kept getting compliments. One tip: bring cash for gratuity -- otherwise it's Venmo only, but there's a bodega right across the street if you need it. I'd definitely come back -- just booking with Dolker next time. The salon is really cute too.
