Since we're regulars, the employees recognize us and are always so friendly, helpful, and genuinely happy to see us. It really gives the shop that wonderful neighborhood feel that you just don't get at the larger chains. They also have a surprisingly great selection of pet supplies, treats, toys, and little critters. I almost never manage to leave with just the crickets -- usually an extra cat toy or treat somehow makes its way home with me too! Such a cute local shop with great people, and definitely a Montrose business worth supporting. We'll continue to be regulars!

Zoom 2 Groom was super accommodating squeezing us in at the last minute. We left our "fur babies" in good hands and felt so comfortable that they were given the best care. We were shocked how fast they finished the two dogs on a busy day! Faster than grooming our 1 dog at previous places. We loved getting a text that they were ready to be picked up. At pick up they told us how each pup did. Flagging anything to look out for and wanted us to check back in with any questions/concerns. Our pups came home happy looking great! We're already talking about going back and more frequently than we did with previous groomers! The staff was communicative and a joy to talk to! 100% recommend! What a gem! Happy clients!

I didn't want her stressed out by being caged around other dogs. I reached out through Yelp to ask about pricing and services and got a response right away. You can also text them directly, which makes communication super easy! We went with the bath and brush, which included teeth brushing, ear cleaning, and paw pad and nail trimming. The price was very reasonable, and she was ready right on time in just 1.5 hours. At PetSmart, this would've taken closer to 4 hours! She came home feeling SO soft, and the shampoo smelled light and fresh without being overly perfumey. Huge shoutout to Nina! She was an absolute delight to work with--friendly, communicative, and punctual. We decided to hold off on a haircut/trim for this first visit so my dog could get familiar with the place, but we'll definitely consider it next time. The shop was clean, and there's a parking lot where you can unload your dog and take a short walk to the entrance, or you can park right out front. So happy we found this place. We'll definitely be back! Thank you again, Nina!

*** UPDATE FROM PREVIOUS REVIEW *** Judy personally…read morecontacted me to resolve the matter and provided clear recommendations for mitigating our issue going forward. I'm sincerely appreciative of her professionalism and of the groomers' consistent attention to detail with our pup. Supporting local businesses is important to us, and Button Nose has continued to be an excellent choice for our family. ******** I have been bringing my dog here for several years, and my mother-in-law as well as many friends have entrusted their pets to this location for even longer. Throughout that time, my experiences with Judy have consistently been wonderful. She has always been incredibly accommodating, helpful, and genuinely kind when assisting with scheduling my dog's appointments. I'm not sure where she is currently, but the past few weeks have been unexpectedly challenging. After accepting the earliest available appointment--which was two weeks out--I asked to be notified if any cancellations became available. The person assisting me seemed uninterested in honoring that request, despite the fact that Judy has always taken the initiative to reach out and fit us in whenever possible. On the day of the appointment, an unforeseen situation arose at my daughter's school. I contacted the shop in hopes they might be able to work with me, even slightly. I offered to arrive a bit earlier or, if necessary, twenty minutes later. I was told they were fully booked and unable to accommodate any adjustment. Every reasonable option I proposed was met with resistance. I am uncertain who is currently overseeing scheduling, but the level of customer service does not reflect the care and professionalism Judy consistently provided. I sincerely hope that Judy is only away temporarily. If not, I may need to seek a mobile groomer who can offer the same level of attentiveness and customer care that she always delivered.

When I got him back, his stomach and paws were covered in dried up urine and was clearly not acting like himself. Over the next two days, he had rectal bleeding that continued for two days, refused to eat for three days, and was severely dehydrated. I immediately contacted Ruff Resort to let them know what was happening with my dog, but I never received a response. I ended up taking him to the veterinarian, where he underwent multiple examinations. Between the exams and treatment, I spent over $700 trying to determine what was wrong. The vet did confirm he was severely dehydrated. A two day boarding ultimately cost me $1000. After not hearing back, I called the facility today to ask if they were open because I wanted to speak with someone in person. They told me they had tried to text me. They claimed the first message bounced back but that a second message went through. However, I never received any text on my phone. More importantly, if a customer contacts you to report that their dog became seriously ill after staying at your facility, the appropriate response is to pick up the phone and call them--not rely on text messages, especially if you already know one message failed to deliver. The lack of urgency, communication, and concern was incredibly disappointing. My dog's health and well-being should have been the priority, and instead I was left dealing with a very sick dog, expensive veterinary bills, and no meaningful response from the facility.
