Batchy Brew is a Torrington gem! This coffeee truck can be found on East Main Street 7 days/week until 3 pm, as well as at special events locally. I order from Batchy Brew a couple times per month and always use the online ordering system. Everything is always made promptly, tastes fresh, and is served with a smile. I tend to order one of the monthly specials and they're usually interesting combinations that are balanced and tasty. Most recently, that was an iced coconut cream pie latte. My absolute favorite is the iced white mocha pistachio latte. There are options for everyone--my partner doesn't drink coffee, but he likes the drinks made with Monster energy drinks. My kids like the seasonal lemonades and hot chocolate. Overall, we're very happy with Batchy Brew. While Batchy Brew is a take-out truck, there are a couple picnic tables if you want to sit for a bit. Whenever I'm in town to visit my mom I love to come here with her. It's a great little spot and the coffee is fantastic, I love all the flavor options and I really enjoy the seasonal drinks as well. It's a really cute coffee, truck, and the staff are very sweet. The only time I've been disappointed is with the sugar-free syrups. My mom and I really were excited about the fact that they had a couple of options, however, we feel as though the sugar-free syrups actually make the coffee taste bitter, and takes away from the quality of the flavor. That's what I tried this time - the iced Berry Shortcake latte for the month of May! It's a secret recipe, which makes it that much cooler. On my way to the Warner Theater, I wanted to get a coffee first. I looked up coffee in the area, and this is how I found Batchy Brews coffee truck! The truck is located on McDermott Avenue, about a three minute drive from the Warner, on Main Street. I didn't realize Batchy Brews was a truck when I looked it up, but this was a pleasant surprise. I'm not sure why they chose this particular parking area, I think closer to the theatre would bring them more traffic. Either way, I did find them. Batchy Brews only offer tea, coffee and lemonade, they don't offer any food. There is a long list of flavor shots available, as well as a special St. Patty's Day themed menu. I decided to go with their Lucky Latte, because I could use some good luck coming my way. I got mine iced, this latte is flavored with Irish cream, toasted marshmallow flavor, and two shots of espresso. It is topped with lucky charms cereal. This is probably a medium size, they didn't ask me about size preference. This flavor is really tasty and not overly sweet, but it sure is sugary. This is expensive coffee, it was $6.00. My friend got the lavender lemonade, I tried hers, it had a great flavor and was of course very refreshing for a warm 60 plus degree day like today. I really enjoyed my Lucky latte, I wouldn't know there were two shots of espresso if the barista hadn't told me, it definitely wasn't too strong. Well I think this little mobile coffee bar is just the greatest thing!!! These girls that run it are so sweet! They are excellent baristas and they have many wonderful coffees, lattes, and teas. I've been here several times before and have had everything from iced coffee to cappuccino to a maple crème brûlée latte. Everything is very well done here. Coffee or tea made to your liking, these baristas use great espresso and high quality ingredients. I don't know about you, but when I want a latte or a coffee, I want it to be fantastic. WOW. My family and I went to the Goshen Stampede this weekend and I FINALLY got the chance to visit Batchy Brew (I have some of their merch but between us moving and the pandemic I hadn't actually gotten to stop by). If you ever get the chance, you NEED to visit them. First off we met one of the owners, Ryan, and he was so kind and had an awesome personality. I made things complicated because, mom brain, and he was so patient and nice. He recommended mixing the peach and mango into a tea or lemonade, and then recommended pomegranate as well: we bought one of each! Both were delicious. The peach mango was sweet but not too sweet - it didn't leave a film on your teeth like other places flavorings do- and the pomegranate had a nice tart finish, which my husband really liked. And of course, our one year old daughter had to try them too-she wouldn't let the peach mango one go! They were the perfect, refreshing drink for a hot day at a local fair.
